I am on the fence about giving this place another shot. The chicken katsu was ok, not great. The spring rolls were mushy, and so were all the vegetable sides. I am not impressed in the least.

I have to admit the food is good. The teriyaki sauce is great. But what freaks me out as I'm sitting , the bathroom door and the front counter as my view. I watch the server male walk into the bathroom pick something up that appears to be toilet paper next to the toilet, off the floor come out of the bathroom and serve food. He served at least 10 people before ever even leaving the front area for any length of time. ( long enough to wash hands) I'm completely grossed out and probably won't eat here again because of that unfortunately one bad apple ruins it for everyone. What a drag

The worst teriyaki dish I have ever ordered. Was suppose to beef chicken and beef teriyaki combo with side of spicy pork.

This place was terrible. Just terrible. Maybe it's cuz we ordered Uber eats that they just didn't give an F. After eating it they definitely deserve an F. Ordered chick & beef teriyaki and a side of spicy pork. Couldn't tell the pork and beef apart. Honestly I just think they gave me pork and chicken. I expected the pork to be on the side in separate containing. Not the case. The pork and chicken wasn't even seasoned or sauced. Thank god I bought an extra thing of teriyaki sauce (25¢)or I would have been SOL. Ordered fried gyoza and instead of the standard sesame rice vinegar dipping sauce you usually get from places like this, they gave us some generic sweet and sour sauce. Was looking for Japanese sort fry not Chinese sweet and sour. This place was just terrible. 0/5 stars as they truly don't give an F. Just drive the extra 30-40 mins to Wilson like and get joy teriyaki. They don't pack the entree section of the styrofoam dish with rice and then put the entree ontop to make it look like you're getting your moneys worth. You actually get seasoned stir fry and nicely glazed chicken beef stir fry. F this place.

Great food, reasonable prices. The chicken is very tender better than most Teriyaki places I've ate at before.

This afternoon I ordered the Yummy Yummy Roll and it truly lives up to its name! With avocado, spicy tuna and tempura shrimp inside, and salmon, spicy mayo and masago on top, every bite had the perfect balance of spice, crunch, and deliciously fresh fish. The portions are generous here as one roll was definitely enough for lunch. Even though I visited on one of the hottest and busiest days this summer, the food cart served up my sushi quickly and with stylish presentation. I can't wait to plan a return visit to work my way through the rest of their menu. If I could change one small thing, I'd add miso to their offerings. I feel like sushi and miso just belong together! Thankfully, another cart in the pod has you covered if you feel the same way. Be sure to check out Good Sushi OC... as someone who has eaten sushi at least once a week for the last twenty years, I assure you this place is worth a visit!

Nice buffet with all kinds of things to try including salads, egg rolls, mussels, various desserts. Good way to try new things as well as economically feed those that like sushi. Our server was wonderful helping with what things the two celiacs could eat. Special precautions were taken to make rolls and the grilled salmon gluten free. They take reservations for parties of 6 and larger. You might choose a table over a booth for easier access to the buffet. Robots are fun especially if anyone is celebrating a birthday. Pricing is 2 tiered; if you want sashimi or nigiri you'll want to pay extra for the gold tier. It's worth it!

Some of the buffet items have changed since initially opening but most of those items are now on the ordering menu. The menu does add and subtract "limited" items regularly. This month the adorable panda rice balls with chicken was added. So cute! The price per person has been slightly raised $1-$2 depending on the meal tier you choose. The servers are always so friendly and attentive. The robot servers are still fun to see too. Our orders are usually served about 50/50 between the robots and human servers. I generally describe the cuisine here as Japanese style food rather than a Chinese or even typical sushi only cuisine. This has become one of my husband's favorite spots. We definitely be back soon.

The family obliged. We started with the gyoza and takoyaki. The gyoza were the best we've had. We had been wanting to try takoyaki for awhile and figured we'd finally give it a try. It was tender and delicious. We also got 3 sushi rolls and loved them all, some of the freshest tasting sushi we've had. The katsu chicken was good, though the rolls and appetizers knocked it out of the park so far by that time we were spending a lot of time the rest of the meal talking about how good they were. The service was fast and friendly. We weren't familiar with Lake Oswego but it's a very nice/upscale area, away from the city. It reminded us of a few cities we have similar to it in the Bay Area. The restaurant itself is not tiny, but definitely intimate. The lighting is nice in there and a light was brought to our table, which was a nice touch. Tada is in my top 3 sushi spots I've ever tried, and the Bay Area (where I'm from) is no slouch when it comes to sushi. I would definitely come back if in Portland again and do a full course of sushi.
