I ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and 2 egg rolls to go around 2:10 pm. The chicken was cold in the middle and the Rice and vegetables were also barely warm. The egg rolls were also cold. This suggests to me that the food was not freshly prepared. I am extremely disappointed in the quality. It felt like I was getting leftovers that they didn't even bother to warm thoroughly. My lunch was 17 dollars including the tip that I was practically obligated into by the card reader. The quality has certainly gone downhill in the 9 years since we moved away. read more

Oh Teriyaki is my go-to for lunch, any day of the week. The meat is always fresh and delicious, and their teriyaki sauce is not overwhelming. I crave teriyaki on a regular basis and consider myself to be a Teriyaki-Snob, and I fully recommend Oh Teriyaki. I have to admit the food is good. The teriyaki sauce is great. But what freaks me out as I'm sitting , the bathroom door and the front counter as my view. I watch the server male walk into the bathroom pick something up that appears to be toilet paper next to the toilet, off the floor come out of the bathroom and serve food. He served at least 10 people before ever even leaving the front area for any length of time. Teriyaki chicken - done fresh, done well. This is the wife's and my go to place for Teriyaki chicken. They grill it, fresh to order. The crispy texture and grill marks on the outside just can't be beat. The service is quick and friendly. I like their lunch special and would typically order it but tonight I went for the Katsu Chicken. Like everything else, it's served hot and fresh. I still question having to pay 0.25 for fresh ginger to add to my meal, but I have noticed that I really miss it when I'm at other places that don't offer it, included in the price or for an extra charge. The place is usually hopping, you are expected to bus your own table, which seems like more of an up and coming thing. I appreciate the fact that they serve "eat in" meals on real plates with metal utensils, I hate all of the waste going to landfill by those places that serve everything on disposable, single use plates/cutlery. They have a fairly extensive menu and you can get out for $10 - which isn't as easy to do now as it was a few years ago. read more

This place was terrible. Just terrible. Maybe it's cuz we ordered Uber eats that they just didn't give an F. After eating it they definitely deserve an F. Ordered chick & beef teriyaki and a side of spicy pork. Couldn't tell the pork and beef apart. Honestly I just think they gave me pork and chicken. I expected the pork to be on the side in separate containing. Not the case. The pork and chicken wasn't even seasoned or sauced. Thank god I bought an extra thing of teriyaki sauce (25¢)or I would have been SOL. Ordered fried gyoza and instead of the standard sesame rice vinegar dipping sauce you usually get from places like this, they gave us some generic sweet and sour sauce. Was looking for Japanese sort fry not Chinese sweet and sour. This place was just terrible. 0/5 stars as they truly don't give an F. Just drive the extra 30-40 mins to Wilson like and get joy teriyaki. They don't pack the entree section of the styrofoam dish with rice and then put the entree ontop to make it look like you're getting your moneys worth. I don't easily give out 5 stars, as is evident by my profile online. It takes many things for a restaurant to get this award. The food (duh), the service, interior/exterior, convenience, etc. With that said, this place is amazing. There is an amazing woman who works here and I've seen every time. She is kind. She remembers you and your order after 1 visit. She runs to your table with your food wishing you happy lunch. She is the shining star here. But let's not forget the food. There are MANY teriyaki / Asian places around Oregon City to choose from. This is the best I've experienced thus far. The only downside is their selling of Pepsi products. Incredibly disappointing.... The one on McLoughlin has never let me down. This is my first time trying to OC location and let me tell you.. it is probably some of the worst teriyaki chicken I've ever had. Chicken was burnt and incredibly dry, the vegetables were literally two bites of cabbage, and they even skimped on the rice. And to finalize my rant, I ordered a soft drink and went to get a Diet Pepsi.. no carbonation. No big deal, so I went for Sierra Mist and the same thing. After getting something I don't like, I let the guy at the counter know and he said ok and nodded, yet never went and tried to fix the issue. When I went in, I asked if there were any specials and the lady said no. So I got some plain white rice and eggrolls. I don't know how, but a guy who came in 5 minutes after me got his chicken teriyaki before I got my order. Then, as I was finally eating my rice (I don't know how you can mess up rice, but it seriously lacked all flavor), someone came in and asked for the special and got one. Grrr. Oh Teriyaki lunch special is maybe the best lunch deal in oc. They have a couple different lunch specials, but the one I got was chicken bento bowl for $4.50. I don't know the last time I was able to eat out lunch for less than $5. The meal itself was good, the portion I would say is moderate. Definitely enough food for the average person, but if you're a big eater you may want to get something else or try one of their other lunch specials. I also saw that they had a chicken teriyaki meal that comes with a drink and an egg roll for $6.99. You can't beat that either! Really, any time you can get lunch for under 10 dollars I think is a win. I'm excited to try their other menu items. read more
