I worked with Sophia at reflections glass company, and out of all the contact people for all the glass company's that I called, she was by far the most responsive. She was able to provide me with a list of options for every detail like hardware, etc, and schematics of what the finish product would look like. Because it was a unique size glass shower door, it was a special order from the mainland but Sophia was very upfront on what type of lead time to expect and I felt like they actually over delivered on it. The day of the install we were a bit nervous because of all the construction we had been having and we have a baby in the house, but the install team was so professional, nice and did incredible work. Everything was incredibly clean, and they finished the install way faster than I could have ever expected. I was also impressed with how easy it was to schedule with Sophia, I don't know how many crews they have but she seemed to be able to really help work around our availability for when we wanted the install. We've dealt with countless trades throughout our renovation and I can honestly say dealing with Sophia and the whole team at reflections glass company was hands down the smoothest. If we ever do anything glass related I will 100% use them again. On top of the incredible craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer service, they were also the most affordable out of all the other companies. I honestly feel like they were underpricing themselves for the level of service ans the quality of the product that they provided. I come from a family of design/builders, and everyone that saw the finished product has been impressed. Thank you guys again for all your help and the amazing work.

Being in the building industry I deal with lots of contractors. Reflections Glass is great. I've…read moredealt with them many times, and have personally used them on my own house. Custom glass is going to cost money here in Hawaii. There's no local fabricator so companies like Reflections, will take measurements, then it will get made on the mainland, and they will install it. Process typically takes about 4-6 weeks from your initial inquiry to install. Sophia at Reflections is personable, has good communication skills, and is reliable. They will provide a detailed rendering for you to approve. The main option they will give you on the glass itself is a low-iron glass that doesn't have that greenish look most glass has. It was about $350 extra and I went with it. If you're going to install something as nice as 3/8 frameless glass you might as well go all the way. You will be in good hands if you choose Reflections.

I live in a high rise condo that happens to have several "push out" windows that measure about 5'…read morelong x 12" high. Cannot find a generic window screen to accommodate this size, so I began contacting window companies to see if they could help.....and most could not. I called KKTF and got one of those outgoing announcement answering device that informs you that if you want to leave a message for ...... press 1, or if you want to leave a message for ..... press 2........but, as it continued, I hung up and decided I would call back, and perhaps get lucky with a real person. 5 minutes later, I receive a message on my phone screen "Aloha....Leana from KKTF Hawaii. I received a missed call from this number along with a voicemail but no message.... is there something I can help you with?" I immediately thought this woman missed a career working for the FBI tracking down criminals. But, I did call her back and gave her my situation, and she said she could send somebody out to do measurements, and set an appointment up for the following morning at 9 AM with Sam. Sam showed up on time, took the measurements and within a week I received a quote along with another neighbor in my building. I was informed by Leana if we both had our installation on the same day we would save ourselves $50 each. Bingo! Upon completion, Sam arrived and because there was no prototype for me to reference how the screens might look, I was pleasantly surprised of how beautiful they turned out. Kudos to to Leana, because she always returned a call quickly, and always professional and kind. I did call her the day after the install and finally asked why is the business called KKTF....(which, honestly makes no sense to me, but what the hell do I know?) KKTF are the initials to the owners sons name.

LOVE THESE GUYS! My…read morejalousie windows were put in at the construction of the building in the 1970's and over time the salt air eroded them. The panes of glass wouldn't stay in and the cranks would work well or at all. I called another window company first and they said that jalousies couldn't be fixed, that entire window had to be replaced. The price tag was huge. Then I found KKTF. They came and did an estimate that was reasonable and were able to come within my timeframe. I started with just one set of windows as I was leaving on vacation. They did such a great job, I had them come back and do the rest of the apartment. It is like I have all new windows! Fantastic! I highly recommend them. They were very polite and cleaned up after themselves. Truly a pleasure to work with!

All other companies asked for measurements but did not respond after I submitted the measurements. Glass Guru was able to obtain their own measurement within a few days and order the glass. Very disappointing. I hired Glass Guru based on the ratings here on Yelp, to replace the broken…read moredouble-pane glass on my back door. The customer service was good throughout the process, and communication was clear. Since the glass had to be custom ordered from the mainland, the turnaround time of about a month was understandable. The price was also on the higher side at $1k, but I accepted that given the custom nature of the job. However, for what I paid, I expected a higher level of workmanship. Unfortunately, the final result did not meet those expectations. The quality of the work--especially the overall finish of the door--was disappointing. In my opinion, when a company completes a job like this, the area should look the same as it did before (or at least close to it), just with the repaired glass. That wasn't the case here. Maybe expectations can vary, but for me, the outcome didn't reflect the level of quality a reasonable customer would expect at this price point. Based on my experience, I can't say I'm satisfied with the final result. Now I need to find someone to fix what they did to the door.
