Ordered the mini Loco Moco for pickup. They said it would be ready in 13 minutes. Got there before the 13 minutes and it was ready. The Loco Moco was delicious, the hamburger patty ,rice, Mac salad and gravy were cooked perfectly. I really like the gravy, it does not overpower the taste of the hamburger patty. Coworkers and I call around lunch time on a Friday to order for pick up, and the man at the counter is always super friendly. He confirms our orders with us and gives us accurate wait times. Once we get there he confirms our orders with our phone numbers and generously asks if we need any utensils, sauces, etc. Place can get a bit busy around lunch hour, but we were able to find a place to sit and eat. The soda fountain is also in the dining area so you can do refills. Place is decently clean but I didn't get to check the bathrooms. It's a lively place next to other Asian restaurants. The food has definitely gotten better in comparison to recent years. Before, I'd prefer to go to the Suisun City location, but now I can confidently say I'd put this location as as-good as the other location. Chicken is seasoned, cooked, and flavorful. Family vibes right when we came in and the food did not disappoint! The loco moco was really good and great portion. The burger tested homemade and I loved it (coming from a picky pregnant lady). If you order the combo it comes with a side and drinks included. I've always wanted to try the hawaiian guava drink and it was delicious with the meal. The service and the ambiance was excellent. This is one of my personal go-to spots in Fairfield! The prices are very reasonable, and even cheaper than other Hawaiian restaurants. The serving sizes are also very much worth the price (especially the chicken katsu plate, a personal favorite). Occasionally I'd call ahead to order and I'd get a 10-20 minute timeline usually for when it'll be ready. Last but not least, the man that works the register and answers the calls on most days is very pleasant and helpful! He lets you know of deals and gives suggestions as well on what to order. I came here recently for some pieces of musubi. I was actually in the area to pick up some treats from 85 degrees but thought - going to the bakery on an empty stomach is a dangerous plan. So I popped in to Ohana for a nibble. I had the katsu and bbq musubi and they were delicious, fresh, and a great price. The cashier was was friendly, brought my food out to me, and checked in at least once. There were a good number of people dining and enjoying themselves. Laid back feel, ample seating, and clean. We were instantly greeted with a warm hello and welcome. We ordered the Katsu Plate and Short Rib Plate. You can dine-in so that's what we did. The Katsu was great! Very crispy, tender chicken! I appreciate how it was less of the breaded part and more chicken. If that makes sense? Lol The Katsu sauce was sweet and thick. The short rib was eh... it was tough and had too much fat... not enough flavor even with the sauce. Service was excellent. Ohana gets really, really busy. We observed so many people in and out for take out. Overall, we love the Katsu! Definitely can see ourselves ordering a party tray of Katsu in the future! They also have daily specials which I'm not sure changes weekly because I couldn't find a menu. So if you plan on going, I suggest calling to see what the specials are for the day! read more

First and last time eating here. The staff was very nice and helpful, but that's probably the only positive. Short ribs were overly salty and tough. Rice was too hard that we ended up eating the leftover rice we made a couple days prior. Macaroni salad was all watery because it was next to the hot food. Nothing like watery mayonnaise to hit the spot. The fish in the fish taco was Panko crispy, but again too salty for me. The fish in the taco was a thin, flat rectangle piece of fish. I couldn't close the taco without breaking the tortilla so I had to eat it like a flimsy slice of pizza. read more

Fast forward to today 5 years LATER‼ we were literally driving back to Sacramento from SF and yelped places to eat and we just so happened to be driving near Fairfield and FOUND THIS‼ I couldn't believe it! I have been coming to this location for over a decade! And each time I have come, it has always been so consistently delicious. My favorite is the chicken Katsu and barbecue beef. Katsu is always perfectly crisp, but still moist and the barbecue beef is always so yummy. Like I said, they are very consistent. It's always tastes the same in a good way. Never a bad meal here. The staff are always very kind and often times will bring the food out to your table. I've eaten Ohana plenty of times since they've open all theses years. I like a few items on their menu. My faves, Chicken Katsu, BBQ Sliced Pork, Kalu Pork and Cabbage, kalbi BBQ beef Ribs and their Surf & Turf but wished they soul allow customers to pick their choice of Turf Meat not just what's listed in their Choice. Their Mac Salad is delicious and creamy just wished when it's in a seperate container it's cold. Their Lengua temp of their Mac Salad is a little warm to my liking. But when you get that ultimate bite of meat rice and mac salad, it's Solid!! Also would like if customers can choose a half half meats of choice and not what's listed in their menu.
