This isn't my first time at Ohana Poke Bowl & definitely not going to be my last either. I wouldn't say they're the best Poke I've ever had, but they definitely come in 2nd place. I'm a repeat customer, and here's some things I just have to say! DRIVE This location is about 10-15 minutes away from Cherry Hill Mall. PARKING Despite the parking lot being small, there is also some street parking available. It's a cozy cute lot, but it definitely needs some updating as there's some noticeable dips and pot holes. On the weekdays, around lunch time, I still have a spot to pull into but there is some coming and going from the plaza itself. SHOP The overall location of the shop is super cozy and cute, with a theatre right across the street. I didn't realize Ohana is also a sit down shop until it was asked. There's not many tables and chairs, but I was told most people pick up their food and go. I definitely want to come back and sit down at some point because it's so cute and cozy. I felt weird taking photos of everything, and felt a bit disrespectful since I wasn't staying to sit down and also have been taking my food to go for quite a while now. SELECTION I keep coming back here because this is the only Poke location & shop in the Southern Jersey / Philly area that has its selection. The first time I ever had Poke was in New York City. I had bulgogi with mango cucumbers pineapple sticky white rice and a sauce I can't remember off the top of my head. Ohana has been as close to that taste and selection as possible compared to others who have Poke shops. You may think adding mango and pineapple is weird to Poke, but it really adds flavor to the bowl. My favorite sauce is citrus ponzu. They have many other things to choose from on the menu like mochi, bubble tea, & other drinks. Like I said, I just need to come in and have a sit down meal one of these days and enjoy a little bit of everything Ohana has to offer. The girl at the reception is always really awesome & chill too! PRICE This location & shop has the largest portions available that are worth it for the price! Poke, no matter where you go, does not come cheap. Whenever I buy from here, I get a good 2 full meals worth of Poke whether I choose a small (1 protein) or large (2 protein). You also get 5 add ins no matter the portion size you choose. But even then the bowl sizes are much bigger than anywhere else I've ever been, but not as big as the one I had in NYC. NYC Poke is on a whole other level. Anywhere else, I get 1 meal and it's pricey and they don't have the selections I go for. Poke does not come cheap so you want to have a good variety of options & also a decent portion sized. This place is worth the bang for a buck! IF YOU'RE KNEW, If you're new to Poke Bowl's, I would go for white rice, salmon, corn, scallions, carrots, and cucumbers. MY GO TO ORDER: Large. White rice. Spicy mayo on top of white rice. Salmon & Tofu. Pineapple, mango, cucumbers, carrots, & corn. Crispy noodles. Citrus ponzu sauce. It may change 1 or 2 ingredients depending on what I'm in the mood for! Would love to see bulgogi, beef/steak or other meats added as an option for protein. But not necessary since what they do have I'm really enjoying! OVERALL I will definitely be a repeat visitor at Ohana whenever I'm in the South Jersey / Philadelphia area. Ohana Poke Bowls are constantly full of fresh, delicious ingredients. They are located in a strip mall with parking on Haddon Ave. It's very convenient to order online and pick up usually within 15 minutes. I found the service to be very good and friendly. They also have bubble tea or mochi for those who might enjoy an extra treat. I highly recommend Ohana Poke Bowl. Give them a try, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed. They do have limited seating for those who prefer to dine in. read more

Finally got to try this after it being on my must try lists for a long time. Unfortunately, I threw my bowl out. My bowl was completely inedible. The tuna was fishy I was pretty positive it was rancid. The mashed tuna also seemed like it was canned tuna thrown with spicy Mayo. Let me start by saying I like this restaurant. The food is high quality and the ingredients have always been fresh. That said...... My wife and I have ordered poke from this restaurant many times when on the way home from Philadelphia (we live on the joint base about 45 minutes east. We ordered two poke bowls and on both bowls we ordered two extra servings of protein (a total of $10 extra for the order). The bowls were different but both of them should have had two servings of salmon and one serving of Tuna. When we got home, the bowls both had an alarmingly low amount of protein. They each only had a single serving of salmon, and it wasn't even a full serving. I weighed it and my bowl had 0.74 ounces of Salmon, hers had 1.05 ounces of salmon. That's it. My friend and I tried Ohana tonight for the first time. We ordered delivery so I can't speak to the restaurant environment itself, but we really liked our bowls! It makes me sad to give a bad review before I can even try the food but the service has been so bad both times I went in. First time there was one worker and a line of people and the poor guy was trying to take phone orders at the same time. There was a big community event that night so they knew they would be busy. We never got our food. But stuff happens so tried again tonight. It's like 90 degrees out and when we walked in it was stifling hot. I asked about A/C and the worker said her boss said she is not allowed to touch it. I felt bad for her in those working conditions and it was too hot to even order to sit outside which was also hot! And I'm sure the fish on the counter is refrigerated in some way but....I don't know. Being in a 99 degree space doesn't make me want to eat raw fish. Anyway, I hate to slam a small business but I hope this makes them do better for their employees and customers. read more

I'd venture to say this is the best Poke bowl place in the general vicinity of the Camden County area, there is also Ten food hall, but there's just something rushed about it that I can't get behind. Tucked away on Haddon Avenue in Haddon Township across from the Planet Fitness. The rice is made well, the service is always friendly, and the ingredients are absolutely fresh. I have not had their poke bowl but I did try their bubble tea. I would not recommend it. It was a sugary powder mixed with tapioca pearls. The pearls needed to be cooked longer and there wasn't any tea. Stick to the poke bowls at this place read more

I've tried the Kona Lava and the Chi-Poke Trio. Both are good, and I like Ohana better than the other poke place that was in town. So far the Kona Lava is my favorite: spicy tuna, spicy salmon, red cabbage, radish, jalapeños, pickled ginger, seaweed salad, masago, sesame seeds, with spicy oyster sauce. Everything mixes well, at first I wanted the rice to not be so warm, but it works well with everything. I would have liked for the Kona Lava to be spicier, but I get that I'm probably in the minority for that. The Chi-Poke Trio was a bit sweeter and had a lighter taste: salmon, shrimp, crab stick, romaine, cucumber, mango, sweet corn, avocado, furikake, with honey wasabi sauce. I really like the mango in there. They also have coconut water in there. I prefer the coconut water without little coconut chunks, but coconut water is always a plus. read more

While visiting a local event, the Soha Block party nearby. We decided to grab a bite to eat while we were out this far away from home. Never heard of them nor knew about them but glad my fiance happened to look them up. We chose the takeout option as is the common thing nowadays. We picked the 2 poke bowl, 2 sides, and 2 drinks combo. I can't recall exactly everything we both picked but I'll try my best. My poke bowl consisted of white rice, tuna and salmon, furikake, seaweed salad, cucumber, shredded nori, mango, and the sauce I picked was something with sesame oil. My fiance (vegetarian) got tofu, white rice, edamame, and that's about all I remember. She got the miso soup and I got the calamari salad. I really enjoyed my poke bowl, definitely fresh and delicious. Not sure about my fiance, I think she wished she had gotten more/ extra tofu and possibly more sauce but other than that had no major gripes. When we got to the store early because we were merely 6 minutes away. I decided I wanted to get bubble tea that they offered while we waited. There was only 1 guy working it looked like but he was a very nice guy. I told him I'm there for a takeout order we already placed but I was just trying to order 2 bubble teas. He said that would be no problem but since it was just him he told me he would make them right after he finished our order which also understandably no problem for us. While we were waiting I took a look around the inside and the decor had a very fun welcoming Hawaiian feel to it. Nothing really screamed Hawaii but the little things they did have made me think of Hawaii. Finally when he finished our takeout order he made our bubble teas, mine was taro and hers was mocha. They tasted good. Nothing special, just tapioca, ice, and the tea itself. The nice thing about this experience was that the guy working let me replace my 2 drinks with the bubble teas I just ordered. I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or what but it made me very appreciative of him and made this experience a good one. If you're in the mood for a poke in a bowl, salad, or burrito form. I stopped by tonight for dinner and made my own bowl. My tastes are eclectic and they catered to every weird, nonsensical request with intrigue, but not complaint. The tuna was fresh and tasty and the combination of sauces and veggies and other items I picked for my bowl were perfect. It was my first time coming here and they were patient and kind while I made my selections and offered suggestions when I asked. If you want a true, authentic taste of the 50th state in a bowl, then drop what you are doing and place an order. Probably the worst food experience I've ever had. It took over an hour for two bowls and what we did get was inedible. My wife and I both had shrimp in our bowls and I took one bite and had to spit out because it was raw. My wife is pregnant so I'm glad I tried mine before she did. Everything else in the bowl looked to be absolutely horrible quality. I called the restaurant for a refund and was told I would get one but a week later, nothing. If you have a craving for poke and not had it before, this could probably satisfy you. However, I was hoping this place would be better than the usual east coast poke restaurants I've been to where the fish appears to act more as a side. The bowl was nice and delicious, but the amount of actual fish I got in my bowl was just about a tablespoon in a bowl full of rice and mix-ins. This is about on par to any other poke place I've found on the east coast. I've had poke on the west coast, and of course Hawaii, where the fish is the actual feature of the dish, and that's the standard that I'm using for rating. read more

Maria was very warm and welcoming to me. Being new to Poke bowls, I didn't really know what to get. She threw together the Kona Lava and if you're a fan of some spice I highly recommend.
