We felt scammed because timing was very important to us, but had to proceed despite feeling the owner was dishonest. The crew that was sent to install (Tim and Giovanni) was unprofessional and made a lot of mistakes. It got to a point where we felt uncomfortable with them in our home. When they did show up, we caught one of the workers laying on our new carpet and rolling around. When we brought up the issues to the owner and installation manager (and sent proof), they did not seem to care. It seemed as if this was normal for them. Any solutions were brought up by us and no solutions were provided by the company. We even had to point out a lot of mistakes that were made that the installation manager missed. At one point, we had to facilitate getting our carpet to our home because one of the workers wanted to leave and we had to do the labor of carrying the carpet into our home. When we finally got another crew out, they were confused about why our project took 7 days when they said they could have it completed in 2. At the end, when discussing with the owner, we felt he was he acted rude, aggressive, and condescending. The dishonesty and lack of communication throughout the process was the worst we've experienced through 5 years of home improvements. An actual quote from the owner was, "I only care about the numbers." After fighting with them for a week, the end product is acceptable but not as expected or worth the price. This company does not care about the job they do, they say themselves they only care about the numbers.

Strange as they had repeated back and had email. No email. After finally came the guy that took measurement said office would call next day after almost a full other week we had to call and it was evident hesitated and then said oh just came in I will call you later. He did and price was fair. However at that point it left that feel how would install be handled. We decided at that point to call another place they were not cheaper but they from start handled things the way customer service should be.

While I am sorry to hear about the passing of a family member/team member, it is not an excuse to wish bad karma on someone simply for leaving an honest review. As mentioned in my original review, while we never had SERVICES performed by this company, we still interacted with them on a professional basis. Customer service is apart of business just as much as services are. Here's a direct quote from the text she sent me, "IT LOOKS SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!" Norm checked all of the boxes you want a contractor to check. High quality workmanship. Check. Reasonable on price. Check. Work completed in a timely manner. Check. Communicated well, often, and clearly. Check. I can't recommend this guy enough. If you want your place painted by a guy who will make it look SOOOOOO GOOOOD, then I think you need to hire Norm.

We reached out to Wiler Fence and Nate, the owner responsed quickly providing a great solution to our project on a large slope with a competive quote. They completed the work, cleaned up everything, emailed us pictures, and sent an invoice. Talk about easy. This could not have gone smoother and we were very pleased with the results. The second was a repair on another project. This fence was already in place and one that was not installed by Wiler Fence Company. We had a leaning fence. Nate provided a quote over the phone, explaining what might need to be done. When the work was done, we called Nate to ask why we did not get an invoice even though he completed the work. Nate explained he was able to repair it without the need to replace any of the posts and there would be no charge. Wow! Needless to say, we will be recommending Wiler Fence Company to everyone we know and will using them on any future new fence installation.
