Had an incident when my boba wasn't made right and, to their defense, I am very particular about my boba orders. So they tell me to come back so they can make it right. As luck would have it, the same person is there to make the new boba. She may be new as she kept asking questions of the other guy working there. She wants to get it right so she writes down my order with all my specifics. At the end I tell her to please don't shake the boba up as there are three distinct colors and it's for my kid who likes to shake it herself. It's part of the experience. Easily the beat taiyaki and probably the best boba I've ever had. Definitely the best in the area (SFV/SGV/LA). The taiyaki was made to order and was perfectly cooked with the right amount of filling. The boba was also perfectly cooked and the tea was delicious. They use honey boba which is a bit sweeter than I prefer but that's simply a personal preference so I can't really count that as a negative. Super important point unrelated to flavor/taste: shop was clean. I went in when it was quiet and had the opportunity to chat with one of the employees and the owner (Michael). The employee was nice and helpful when I was trying to decide what to order. Michael was enthusiastic and seemed really genuine about wanting to make the best product possible. He told me that left a tech job in Nor Cal and decided to open this boba shop. Seems like it was a good decision at this point. I hope he keeps up the quality control (service and product) as he will inevitably grow in success. read more
