Overall, we had a pretty mediocre experience. We ordered the tornado taro and matcha tea. Both were bland and bordering flavorless. The taro could barely be detected over the sweetness, but I doubt lowering it would make a difference. The matcha milk tea tasted like sweet milk. We also ordered three types of tayaki. They were lackluster and doughy. The service was alright, nothing to write home about. Not sure why this place has such a high rating. Overall, we won't be coming back. read more

Stopped by to try their tea. Got the phoenix oolong with jujube fruit tea, less sweet, with ice and lychee jelly. I really enjoyed it, tea was fragrant and they put in the perfect amount of ice, just enough to cool the drink down (not half a cup like some other places) Looking forward to trying their other drinks and noticed they have tayaki as well. read more

Finally! A decent boba place! Other shops have tried, but this might be the real deal with real quality ingredients instead of sugar and artificial color and flavor. I've tried different drinks on the menu and they've been good. Staff are still learning...measuring and weighing ingredients, but I get it..its new. They make up for it with good customer service. I've seen the owners give away free stuff to their friends on a few occasions...would be nice if they would do the same with regular customers...maybe a sample or freebies? The people who run this place are awesome, friendly and kind. We were going next door to get ice cream and they were remodeling and I saw that the boba place had just opened so we went there instead. Super friendly and clean. Just an important note that the Tiger Brown Sugar Latte has NO tea or coffee when ordered as is. It's milk and caramel flavored syrup. I incorrectly assumed it would have a caffeine element and it's just sweet milk. When I inquired I was told you can ask to add it next time. Just a note since I paid $6 each (I ordered 2) and wasted my money on caramel syrup flavored milk. Ultimately it is my bad for not asking in advance and the drinks were too sweet without a tea or coffee still it was a bummer. read more

I've been here two times since this place opened, they have the best tea in the area and their staff are really helpful. I asked them if they could do an iced tea and while they didn't have it on the menu, they made it for me anyway. I've also tried their taiyaki, I got the 5 piece with one of each flavor. Loved all of them but the pizza one, but I think it just wasn't for me. All in all, 10/10 place. I'll definitely be back. read more

When I saw this place next door to the UPS Store - I had to check it out. My partner and I got a cafe latte with caramel flavoring and Toffee Frappe. We enjoyed both of them. Upon getting our drinks we saw other things we wanted to try so we came again the next day. Two days in a row, yo. We got the mojito latte and the pistachio frappe. The roast they use it very smooth and was super yummy. The mojito wasn't to my taste but everything was yummy otherwise. When I finished my cafe latte I was sad because it was all gone. The place is modern and clean, and a chill place to just hang. Not many outlets if you were hoping for lounging with electronics. The people that work there are nice and the manager greeted us first each time. I'll definitely come around pretty regularly. Kind of wish it was open a little earlier so I could grab something on my way to the office. Also, someone commented that they only have one size - I actually prefer it that way! read more

There's been a few places where boba was located. Even though the location is sometimes cluttered and the fact that we have rosemonsters come and go. The service is very good! They opened up a few months ago but have already made a statement with their speed and accuracy making their treats. I understand when some say turnaround service is slow but everything takes time until their rhythm is found. Just had one of their almond croissants and it's one of the best in the area. Next time you're in the area check them out and see what the buzz is about. read more

Fantastic place just added to the La Crescenta area. The best boba option that you can get in the area and far supersedes other chain tea shops. This is purely family owned and operated with a very friendly family and workers that give great recommendations. The shop is incredibly clean and has very nice interior design. The drinks themselves are very much affordable than competitors with high quality as well. Never too sweet or not sweet enough and they give a very appropriate boba ratio that some places out in the 626 are envious of. In addition, for those that are senior citizens, they give 15% discount which is incredibly generous for the community. Highly recommend and a welcome addition to the community! read more
