I can't recommend Oh's Taekwondo Center enough! My son has been attending for almost 2 years now.  Master Oh and Teacher Anthony are both amazing, wonderful teachers and have created a fun environment that focuses on positivity, self control and perseverance.  Since Covid-19 they have gone out of their way to provide a safe way to keep the momentum of our sons progress. They offered zoom classes, implemented extra sanitizing, temperature taking, distancing and a mask requirement for students and teachers. We were looking for a consistent activity for my son (who was 3 at the time) and stumbled upon Ohs Tae Kwon Do Center because it's located close to us. And to be completely honest, we didn't really have expectations signing him up. We just wanted him to have fun and learn a new skill. 6 months later and we are blown away by how much growth my son has experienced physically, emotionally and mentally. Master Oh is truly a gifted teacher who has the ability to push each student at their own level despite teaching a class full of students. He's pushes my son to be better and to do better despite his age and my son has thrived. He also teaches my son to persevere, respect others and to practice self control which has translated to his behavior outside of the studio. We cannot recommend this studio enough! We are so glad we happened to find Ohs Tae Kwon Do Center. We hope that our son enjoys TKD here for a long time! For the parents who are intimidated by TKD, I hear ya...all the yelling, punching and screaming can be a lot and Master Oh scared me at first too. :) But during my son's first lesson that intimidation quickly dissipated. He does an awesome job balancing the strict and fun for the kids. He demands excellence but he also give praise and encouragement freely when it's due. I genuinely enjoyed tae Kwon do with him, and he pushed me and motivated me to be a better person and version of myself. I highly recommend this place if you are serious about taekwondo, Master Oh teaches the right techniques and is very disciplined. I was amazed when I saw all the kids (including boys) doing perfect splits. We have been to a couple of taekwondo places but it is by far the best we've been to. First impressions: I've been touring local Tae-kwon-do studios and using yelp to guide me. My first impression tonight was all positive. The kids in session seem to be serious, following instructions, and the Master in charge was disciplined and stern and obviously competent. I liked what I saw and the feeling I got. My girlfriend and I have been training at this facility for quite some time now and I would like to share my opinion with the public. As a former personal trainer and a currently enlisted soldier I must say that the conditioning for these classes are very well suited for Tae Kwon Do. A lot of focus on endurance and lower body strength (for those crazy kicks!). Besides training for Tae Kwon Do the Masters also discipline us to be confident, humble, and respectful people. I have to say that this is my first TKD experience; but Master O and the rest here are amazing. My son (10) wanted to try martial arts after baseball season ended. We went to 4 studios around our home in the pursuit of a place to try. Some studios were too relaxed, while others focused so much on discipline, I felt like I was submitting my kid to a sadists dream. Victory was the best balance of discipline and fun. We're 3 weeks in and I can say that I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Master O is awesome with the kids yet also teaches them the fundamentals of this ancient art. I originally became a student of Master Oh's eight years ago when I was only ten and since only remember having positive interactions with his teaching mannerism, so much that I decided to rejoin as a young adult. Master Oh focuses and dedicates his time to showing his students how to be respectful, disciplined, and committed to any task they do. Within the last year of having rejoined his studio, I have had the opportunity of assisting him with his younger classes and have noticed that his passion for teaching has remained if not grown further. My daughter enjoys Oh's TKD Center! It's been a big hit with my daughter. She has been coming for almost a year now and still looks forward to each class. We wanted her to try something new but because of COVID, we weren't quite sure what she could safely do. It's really fun and the teachers are amazing and make sure that we have fun. We learn something new almost every day and we play very fun games. We also start every class with dodgeball which is really fun, and you can't get hurt while playing because the ball is super soft. We also have tournaments that we are allowed to participate in and we can win a medal if we try. I've recently started taking my niece to Oh's Tae Kwon Do Center and have sat through many classes and I love the overall atmosphere and energy of the class.
