Fast and professional team. The line was long however they were very polite about the waiting time. The motor was left very clean as well. Many places don't clean up if there's a drop of oil in the engine compartment m. I also appreciated how they do the multi point inspection so fast. I took my car in to get an oil change because my husband told me we needed it done before we left on vacation. The guys there checked when I had gotten my oil changed last and said that I still had 2000 miles left. They could have just stopped there, but instead they checked the level and color of the oil (everything was still good to go), they filled up my tires, and told me to have a great day. There is nothing more rare than going in for an oil change, and not being charged! Here's what happened. I mixed up the mileage with another vehicle somehow and was under the impression my car needed an oil change. So I went straight over to Oil Changers in Alameda with my Yelp coupon in hand. They greeted me and got the specs on what I was looking for. I walked off for a a few minutes to take a phone call and came back. When I came back they explained that they had looked up my last oil change on CarFax, and that it was not time yet for the oil change. Actually 5 stars! Honest as well as unfailingly courteous crew. I'd gone there with the current discount code to get an oil change. However, the crew there said that I hadn't driven enough after my last change to need one. They showed me my oil (on the dipstick) to demonstrate that it is still clean & clear. wow It would be hard to top that level of honesty in most businesses (sadly). They still topped off my oil, put air in my tires and checked my other fluid levels -- for NO COST. I go to this place because I trust them. Your experience here will largely depend on who's on staff that day. I've had smooth visits where the staff was very kind and professional. On the other hand, I've also driven in when a staff of 3-4 men were there making rude and inappropriate jokes. These boys must've been fresh out of high school judging from their commentary. I distinctly recall having a very rude young man tell me that it was my problem that I had an oil leak, and a young femail staffer had to tell me not to listen to him. A few months later my mechanic in the South Bay had to break the news to me that whoever attempted to fix the oil leak had not sealed the area properly, so my mechanic went ahead and fixed the problem. Definitely drive out of town if you really don't want to risk getting harrassed. read more

This place is quick and gets the job done. The workers here are all friendly, fast and efficient. I first heard about this place when I was lending out my car during the holidays a few years ago. Completely forgot I needed an oil change, and this place was open the day before Christmas! There was no line so I got in and out in 20-30 minutes. I came here around 9am on a weekday recently, and though there were a few cars in front of me, the wait was about 20 minutes. I found out later that the customer in front of me had been giving the guys a hard time (super demanding, asking them to redo things that didn't need it, etc.) which is why it had taken so long. Despite that, they were still super friendly and finished working on my car within 20 minutes. Since this place is pretty low key and you wait in your car, I recommend bringing a book or having an audiobook loaded up to listen to while you wait. read more

It was time for an oil change and decided to check out Oil Changers since I had a sub-par experience from my last visit at the other major oil changing chain. It's located at the corner where Tilden Way bisects Lincoln Ave., but you access the shop on Lincoln. Driving up, the shop has two stalls. With one car in one of the stalls, I was guided into the open stall. Here, you stay inside your car during the oil changing process. The gal welcomed me and explained the cost of the oil change service. I said, I had a Yelp Check-in offer and she said no problem and would apply the discount. In twenty minutes the oil change and included services were performed. She explained that they offer free fluid top offs within the next 3,000 miles. I paid and she said the next time I can just say Yelp and I would get the $5.00 discount for the service. It costs a little more than the other chain, but the convenience of them being in town and the quality service received was well worth it. read more

Went in today for an oil change and I have been here before and had a great experience taking my husband's Expedition for an oil change. So, I decided to come back since my Camry needed one as well. However, when I pulled in, team wasn't the friendliest but whatever, but $91 for an oil change because it required Synthetic Oil was crazy!!! I haven't been here for a few years but I was floored. However, I got it done because I have been busy and if I push it off, I just didn't know when I would find the time again. Unfortunately, can't recommend and would strongly urge you to shop around if you need synthetic oil change. Don't think I can justify that price considering I have NEVER paid that much for an oil change for my Camry, so dueces!! read more
