The employees are very knowledgeable, honest, quick and always friendly. Today Drew and Johnny did an excellent job caring for my older Explorer that I've been neglecting. They told me everything that needed to be done to keep my baby on the road and prioritized what I need done so I didn't break the bank. Thanks guys :) Now my Transmission won't die and my engine will keep on chugging :) I had a bad experience with Valvoline stripping my oil plug and ruining my oil pan -not a very cheap fix! This oil change place is awesome! I've taken all 3 of our cars here now: (Volvo, Honda, and Camry) and I won't be going anywhere else. They work like a well-oiled machine here ;), plus the technicians are courteous, honest, and don't try to be slick and ;) rob you. It's a bonus that they check all other fluids, tire pressure, lights and blinkers, and clean your windows for you too. (Whaaaat? Customer service is not dead.) Definitely the most fun I've ever had during an oil change. Drew and Tyler took great care of me and my poor neglected vehicle. They changed my oil, air filter, flushed my transmission fluid, fixed my tire pressure, fixed my scrape plate (?) and even washed my windshield all while joking around and keeping it entertaining. Love this! I learned how to change oil when I was younger and I should really change my car's oil myself... but that's with supervision so I'll leave the oil changing to the pros. I came here because of the five star rating, but I can't say I experienced that myself. When I asked the technician to reset my oil life light, he played with the buttons for a minute and then told me that one of the buttons was stuck and wouldn't move. He said I must have spilled Coke on it. I said that I didn't spill Coke on my dashboard and the "button" didn't look like it was supposed to move. He assured me it was and that I needed to take it to the Honda dealer to get it fixed. So, I left and watched You Tube to see how to re-set my oil life meter using my buttons, that all work correctly and did it myself!!!! Really?? If you don't know something, say so, don't make stuff up! read more

I think I pass like 10 Jiffy Lubes and other oil change places that hold up signs for discounts while on my way to Oil Changers! Why?? Simply because I have never found a better place with the best service as them! They are not wasting any time getting right to work, are incredibly thorough, and HONEST. I can leave with confidence knowing that half my oil wasn't watered down or that I was sold a transmission flush when I really didn't need it. Drove in for an oil Change. I added the fuel injection cleaning service after they talked me in doing that work . Drove out my perfect condition Kia Sorento with the check engine light on for the first time ever !!! I don't know what they did to trigger that . Had to go back to them twice to fix the issue to no avail . The new guy there had no clue what to do (Steven) . Now my son, who has to go back to summer school at UC Santa Cruz next day , had to either drive late after we repair it at a real mechanics shop or postpone his trip a day and miss getting first day of school !! If doing other than oil change , I suggest to rethink it . They are good only for oil change . read more

These guys get right to it. No messing around. Very good communication. No pressure to buy extra maintenance, but they will let you know what's going on with your car. Oil change is a little more expensive for high mileage (about $50 with the yelp discount), but they make it count with cleanup under the hood, checking tires and fluids, and cleaning windows. Like any shop, they're not perfect, but do know how to set things right if they make a mistake: when they recently realized they'd put the wrong transmission fluid in my vehicle, they replaced it with premium synthetic fluid free of charge. I went here for an oil change - just an oil change. There was no wait, and the guys were very friendly and got to work right away. The best part? They didn't try to upsell me - just asked once if I wanted more work done and I said I take my car to the dealer for services. They were totally cool with me and didn't bug me again about doing extra services. I've had some bad Jiffy Lube experiences, so I really appreciate that about them. After honda poway gave me a 2-3 hr wait for an oil change WITH AN APPOINTMENT i frantically went on yelp to find another oil change joint in the neighborhood. I went to the Ford dealership to get a quote for a Power Steering service, Rear Differential service and a Fuel System service. They quoted me at $400 which I knew involved some commission but though way too much! I have been going to the Oil Changer for years and decided to see if they could do any of the three services I needed. They were able to do all three in about 30 minutes and blew me away when they gave me a total with tax of $193. They laughed and told me they don't work for commission!! I believe this is the most ethical way to run a business. They have a customer for life. read more

They took care of everything and touched up the windows, seats, etc. The mechanic tried to sell me a headlight cleaning service for $30 -- no thanks but nice effort, I ain't mad at that. Although he did sell me a cabin vent filter for $30 because I was well overdue for a new one and didn't have time to buy a cheaper one.
