I have two cars, one a treasured hot rod and I trust these guys to do the right thing every time for either car. They are always friendly, courteous, call me by name, and make my short stay very pleasant. I'm no guru, and when I need fluids changed in whatever time is recommended, i can trust these guys to let me know when and take care of that as well. Left there one eve, car died on the street, no lites, no nothing due to an electrical issue. I borrowed someone's phone (accidentally had left mine at home) and called them since that was the only number I had due to their receipt, and they came and stayed with me and my black car in the dark until the tow truck arrived 2 hours later. I just had my car serviced and found that some oil had leaked onto my brother's driveway over Thanksgiving weekend. I needed someplace open that would quickly check to see if anything was leaking from my car before I drove home. These guys quickly and efficiently checked my car for any leaks, checked oil levels, tire pressure. Johnny, the person who worked on my car, told me that all was fine, and refused to charge me for the service. These guys are honest --which for anyone who has had a bad experience before --is probably the best quality in a mechanic that you can find. AND they were super nice and courteous. Although their prices are higher than normal, you can't beat the "no wait" time and great service. Also, if you check into Yelp, you get a $5 discount. oil changers of poway is the best oil change place ive ever gone to and ive lived all over san diego. def wasnt what i was expecting when i went in. thought i was just getting an oil change...no!! oil changed, all fluids checked, tire pressure checked and filled, and windshield washed in under 30 mins. the staff was very courteous and friendly. i had my 4 year old daughter in the car and she was more intrested then when we go to the carwash!! :) and she even got stickers :)) definetly will be returning and telling everyone i know about poway oil changers!!! read more

I had my oil changed here on a fluke one evening, and the guys here are absolutely without a doubt the nicest, most helpful I've come across in the auto mechanic field. I'm a huge ice hockey fan too so I usually know the kind of attitude that comes with the auto industry. And then today, in fact just 10 minutes ago I was there because my check engine light came on, I spoke with Johnny the manager, and he along with Devin, and Ty, were AWESOME, AMAZING and reassured me they are there for me no matter what. i had a great experience today. oil changers did exactly what i needed them to do. honestly when i drove up i was super embarrassed because my car had been neglected for almost a year. Ty and staff took care of me with 5 star service from start to finish. they didn't try and up sell me. i told them what my budget was they changed my oil, replaced my filter, filled up my tires and i never even had to get out of my car. i would recommend oil changers to anyone in the area! read more

Went here today because I was in the neighborhood and was long past due for an oil change. I was greeted by the two nicest and unintimidating guys and felt comfortable right away. They proceeded to check my oil and let me know that my oil was still almost full, and that if I wanted to wait 1000 or so more miles to get it changed that would be fine. They proceeded to check my tires and clean my front window for no charge at all. I will definitely be coming here again next time I actually need an oil change because I know these guys are 100% honest and have my best interest in mind. Totally recommend!
