Most expensive oil change in Poway. My oil started leaking for days after I got it done

These guys keep it real and do a great job! I stopped in right when they opened after I worked a night shift and I was done within a half hour! In town visiting family and realized I was way past due for an oil change. Went to Oil Changers and was very impressed. Johnny was professional and courteous, and there was no hard sell for extra services or parts/filters. They announce what they're doing each step of the way and will explain anything they're doing if you ask. Oil Changers stands by their work and includes topping off fluids and checks for 3000 miles. I tried this place because of the great reviews and I was tired of taking time off work to sit around and wait for an oil change. The two technicians were great, knowledgeable, and very polite. I saw ads for slightly cheaper places, but I'm happy to pay a little extra for honest service. They didn't try to up-sell me on many different things. $39 for a full service oil change includes checking and topping off of all fluids, and checking the tire pressure. Whole thing took 20 minutes tops, and then I was on my way to work. I would highly recommend them! read more

This location does a quick and thorough oil change. In fact, I drive out of my way to go to them. I've used them for the past 10+ years and they have always been friendly and helpful. They even spotted the fact my tires needed to be replaced and sent me to another great location. I'll keep seeing them every 3000 miles! read more

I just took my fiance's car this past weekend and Devin and Graham were awesome. Devin greeted us and gave us the rundown of what we wanted done and what needed to be done. Both Graham and Devin had great personalities with us and each other. They were professional, but at the same time neighborly. Even though we had to get an oil change and a transmission fluid change, Devin was upfront about the reality of the business situation and really left it up to us if we wanted the service done or not. This place has really good Yelp reviews, so I gave it a try. I was given a wrong quote for an oil change. $29 turned into $50, and the 15 minute estimate turned into 45 minutes (it was empty). Maybe I just caught them on an off day? read more

This auto shop is awesome! The mechanics are knowledgeable and friendly. They preformed my oil change in a timely manner and with ease. No up-selling here! Just friendly and reliable service. They also reminded me that I can come back to top off my fluids anytime before I hit the 3000 mile mark after my oil change. For the first time, I actually took them up on it and brought my vehicle back a month later. I pulled right up and my fluids were topped off in less than 5 minutes and I was on my way. This is exactly what you want in an oil change place. Quick, convenient, non-sales service. I used to drive 50,000 miles a year for work so at this point I've been to at least 10 different oil change places within San Diego looking for the easiest, hopefully cheapest option. These guys fit the bill. Pull your car up, hang out in the car while they do the work and get out. It was 20 mins for me when I went last week. Stumbled across Oil Changers while visiting my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Drove down from the Santa Monica area when my "oil change required" message popped up. Knowing I wouldn't be home and available to take the care to my dealership for at least another week and with several hundred more miles to drive, I called a dealership in the Poway area but they were too busy to help me out. I politely asked if they could recommend anyone, and I am so thankful they did! Although it wasn't their policy to "recommend" another business, the gentleman at the dealership recommended Oil Changers - said they were great with customers and do a quick, quality job. They were so right! I got there and Kenny took me right in and explained the service and the pricing. From there it was like clock work - very quick and efficient, and the guys worked together as a team - one drained the oil while the other topped off my fluids. Then I had the pleasure of meeting John - the manager. He made sure all my lights worked and my tires had enough air. He even kindly offered me some cold water! I went to this shop not certain if I will get a good service or will be just like other shops where you get ripped off or come up with some fake extra thing to do. But I was wrong. This is the first time that I didn't feel worried of being ripped off. They are very courteous and knowledgeable. I will definitely come to this place regularly. You just earned a new loyal customer.
