Fantastic takeout. I ordered the spicy salmon roll, chicken lo mein, and sesame chicken. For the spicy salmon roll, I thought the sushi to rice ratio was beautiful. The roll wasn't spicy at all to me, but I liked the texture and slight crunchy bits in there. The chicken lo mein was hot and not too saucy for me, which I was pleased with. I like the addition of bamboo in there and how fresh it tastes. The sesame chicken was a little too sweet for me today, and sat in a pool of its own sauce. Good if you're a sauce person but I prefer my chicken just coated and not drenched. The chicken wasn't crispy anymore, but it was still good. It comes with a side of rice, which was fresh and moist, but you'd need to order extra rice for the ratio of chicken imo. read more

I grew up in the area, but moved away a few decades ago, so I can't speak confidently to the current food scene. With that said, I'm not aware of too many AYCE sushi options in the area, so I'd imagine this rates fairly high in the area. The ambiance was that of "converted Chinese takeout house," and the service was attentive, albeit not what I'd consider friendly. The sushi rolls were just fine, certainly nothing out of the ordinary, but also not overpacked with rice or featuring a suspiciously high number of cooked fish dishes that can raise red flags in similar establishments. Overall, I found the overall experience to be lacking when compared to the numerous similar restaurants in Mercer and Middlesex counties, but for the price in the area, you could certainly do worse! read more

This was an awful experience. I ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box and they brought me salmon fingers. They were disgusting. My offensive line college football playing son left his sushi. That has never happened before. The table next to us got up and left their sushi untouched. We met in the parking lot and talked about how terrible the food was. Maybe the chinese food is OK. While visiting my Godson and house hunting in South Jersey with my wife, we were told about this new Japanese/Chinese restaurant; so figured why not give it a try. We went during lunch time and found the ambiance was very nice - quiet, clean, and nice decor all throughout the restaurant. Food was 10/10. We ordered the lunch combination platters, which came with: - Fried rice - Egg roll - Hot and Sour soup - A choice of entree (tried the Szechuan chicken, also the beef and broccoli and the chicken in garlic sauce) Additionally, we ordered the pan fried Gyoza (pork dumplings), steamed shumai (shrimp dumplings) and rock shrimp (think that's what they are called). Let's just say, the food was phenomenal, all the items came in quick, server (Sherry) was on point with her service - very attentive and ensured we got everything we ordered. However, the only thing I will mention is that we ordered our food spicy and also asked for hot sauce on the side and when we were getting ready to pay the bill, we noticed $1 charged for adding extra spice to the food and also $1 charged for the hot sauce on the side. Now we have ordered at many different restaurants but never saw extra charges for asking to make the food a bit spicier or just some hot sauce (siracha) on the side. We did mention that to Sherry and she was willing to remove the $2 extra dollars, but we asked her not to and that wasn't the intention of bringing it up to her. We just suggested that they mention to the other customers if/when asked to make the food spicier or hot sauce on the side - cause I'm sure like us, many other maybe surprised and wondering why the extra charge. That's all. Overall, great food, amazing ambiance, top notch service and definitely highly recommended. Sherry even hooked us up with a complementary gift card on our way out!! read more

I saw a lot of reviews that were about sushi or just kinda about the place so figured I'd try. Wish I didn't. I got two lunch combos. General tsos and beef with broccoli. I asked for broccoli to be well done but still had a crunch and the sauce had a weird citris taste to it. And the general tsos was gross. The sauce wasn't terrible but it's the cheap sauce you'd expect. But the chicken was so stringy it made me think it wasn't real. I won't be ordering again. read more

Great new spot for Japanese and Chinese food and a few desserts. The Shrimp lo mein, shrimp Pad Thai, eel cucumber avocado roll and the banana tempura ice cream were all delicious. The ambiance was clean and inviting. The owner was so sweet and generous. The one downside was the music is American inspired Asian music, which isn't the norm for most Asian restaurants and a tad unique. We will definitely return to try many more meals. read more

All the food was delicious! There wasn't anything that didn't taste great! We got several different types of sushi as well as different Chinese food and chicken wings. We also got lava cake and mochi for dessert. The staff was wonderful and attentive. They kept coming up to refill our drinks and asking us if we needed anything. The service was also timely. We didn't wait very long and we kept adding things to our order. They gave our daughter a fried ice cream for her birthday and they gave us some delicious Japanese candy with our bill.
