2 salmon avocado rolls, one spicy tuna roll
    Lindsay S.

I have only gotten take out from here, but one of my favorite things to order is the any 3 rolls lunch special for $12.95! I usually get salmon avocado and spicy tuna rolls with both eel and spicy mayo on the side. The delivery is extremely fast (usually takes ~20min) and the sushi is great!

With $1 delivery fee via GrubHub, I was able to try 4 rolls without rolling out in my car: 1. Fusion Roll (White tuna, salmon and avocado with spicy tuna, half seaweed and half kani AKA imitation crab) $10.95. 2. Crazy Tuna Roll (Spicy tuna and avocado inside topped with fresh tuna, white tuna and spicy mayo) $12.95. Was I crazy about the crazy tuna? Yes. It was my favorite roll. 3. Valentine Roll (Salmon, crab meat and avocado rolled up with spicy tuna and crunch) $10.95. I liked this better than the snow princess roll because it had more flavor. 4. Snow Princess Roll (Spicy crunchy scallop topped with white tuna and caviar) $11.95. I love a whimsical specialty sushi name. The cost of each roll for the quantity was standard. Four rolls feed 2-2.5 people. I was full before finishing 2 rolls. As you can see from my ordering pattern, I love specialty rolls and I love spicy tuna. If you spend over $40, you get a free seaweed salad. There are other deals if you spend lesser amounts as well. Their hours are great! They open 11AM-1AM so this place is perfect for those who crave sushi at unconventional hours (like myself). The most impressive thing about my order was that it came in 15 minutes. I was shocked how fast they were! Everything tasted great. I'll be ordering again.

My boyfriend and I love ordering takeout from here! The delivery is incredibly fast and the food is really good for what you get around here. The Valentine roll is amazing, the yakisoba noodles are delicious, and we always love the dinner bento box. It's a great combo that comes with and entree, side of soup or salad, and potstickers. They also open very late which is a perk!

    Seaweed salad. Yum.

My partner and I ordered takeout. Miso soup: this was the best part of the meal. Very tasty and exactly what you expect Edamame: it's difficult to be impressed by edamame as it is typically the same everywhere you go. It maybe could've used some salt. Vegetable tempura: tempura was extremely soggy. When I bit into the broccoli it was almost the consistency of apple sauce. It's like they put batter on wet vegetables and didn't fry it long enough. The tempura dipping sauce was flavorless. I do not recommend you order this. Seaweed salad: this was pretty good. It was fresh and the perfect temperature. Shrimp tempura roll: I was not impressed with this roll. In all fairness, I wouldn't typically order this but I am pregnant and was attempting to satisfy a sushi craving. The menu does not say they use eel sauce but they doused this roll in it. I couldn't eat very much because you're not supposed to eat eel sauces when you're pregnant. It took a lot of work to try to clean it off. This should be specified on the menu. Valentine roll: my boyfriend said he really liked the spice level and flavor on this roll. The salmon seemed to be fresh. I was unable to partake so I cannot provide my own feedback. Sauces: the side of spicy mayo was perfect. The side of ponzu was not good and didn't really taste like ponzu. Perhaps that is why this is not offered on their menu? The tempura dipping sauce was flavorless and was not a traditional tempura dipping sauce. I ordered on the eat24 app so I cannot comment on ambiance or customer service.

The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. We got there at 2:25 and the said last order while be 2:40, to make sure we wanted to stay. We meant to get there at 2:05 but we had am unplanned bathroom break on our way from Buffalo. The food came out VERY FAST. I've never seen anything like it. Maybe we were the only ones still ordering but even so, very fast. A server writes down the order on a pad, no sheets to fill or tablets. She reminded us we would be charged for uneaten food but the kids assured us they could eat everything. Other than a mistake roll (I think we were given a rainbow instead of an eel) they demolished the food. The only thing that would make it better would be Inari. It's a staple for vegans and vegetarians, but I still came out ahead with my sweet potato tempura hand rolls, avocado hand rolls, seaweed sala, and miso soup. Everyone loved the French fries, which is not the norm for AYCE sushi. Kids also loved the chicken nuggets, shrimp tempura, crab Rangoon, yakisoba noodles, and steak hibachi. Steak looked freshly cooked and not overdone. The kids ordered 5 or 6 different rolls and liked them all. Cannot say enough about how lovely and gracious the staff was, even after closing when we were clearly cutting into their break before the dinner shift.

The fish on the nigiri is sliced very thinly and I'm not too surprised as it's AYCE but just keep in mind the ratio leans heavy on the rice. Sashimi is also NOT included in the AYCE price and I believe it's $1 or so per sashimi piece so they do try to fill you up with the sushi rice. I'm not really a roll person, I prefer nigri and raw fish for my sushi cravings. That being said, Akina is very affordable for AYCE The service is good, I don't think the wait is incredibly long. Usually we only wait about 20 mins or so. They do have high chairs and the bathrooms are clean. Parking is fine too, they're in a plaza so there is parking but sometimes it can get pretty full there. I would recommend eating at Akina if you're in the mood for AYCE sushi in Cuse.

Interior is cute, quiet and clean. They have karaoke downstairs. The tempura was good, light and fresh. The fried chicken wings - cheese were disappointing. I have ordered this type of chicken wing from other restaurants in the past and it is always a cheese type of powder the coats it. This was cheese melted on top, not even a sauce or powder,, and that does make a difference for the dish as it had no flavor. I have seen cheese melted on top of spicy wings before but this also was not that. It was disappointing especially for the price ($24.99). Overcooked and dry.

Glad I stayed. Despite its name, the sushi was so-so. Think of this place as a Korean restaurant. Almost all of the patrons were speaking Korean. The beef bibimbop in a stone bowl was great. The stone bowl was unusual in that it was very flat which created a better , I'm not sure what the right word in Korean is, crispy rice layer (what they call soccarrat with paella). There is a parking lot nearby as well as some street parking, but it's something to keep in mind before your visit. I believe they offer an all-you-can-eat special for around $27.99 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and on Tuesdays and Thursdays many menu items are half off. I visited on a Thursday and took full advantage of the half-off specials. I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and as other guests left, I ended up being the only person in the restaurant. Honestly, it made for a great experience. The music was a fun mix of house music and R&B, and I found myself dancing in my seat while enjoying my meal. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. They checked on me when needed but also gave me space to relax and enjoy my food. The cook also came over and talked with me for a while and made some suggestions on what he thought I would like. Amazing ! Because everything was half off, my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach! I ordered several different items and was completely full by my second plate. Most dishes come as small plates with two to four pieces, making it easy to try a variety of items. One of the coolest parts of the experience was the conveyor belt system. Once your food is prepared, it's sent down the conveyor belt to your seat. Since I was the only customer there, it was easy to know which dishes were mine. I'd be interested to see how it works during busier hours. I honestly can't remember everything I ordered, but I enjoyed almost all of it. My least favorite item was the sweet potato roll--it wasn't bad, just not my personal favorite. Everything else was fresh, flavorful, and worth trying. Overall, I had a really good time and will definitely be back, especially on a half-off day. Great food, great music, and a fun dining experience. You don't have much time to review the info sheet so figure out what things are before it passes you by, and you do have to eat it if you touch the plate. It's kind of a fun game to play! We enjoyed a nice lunch with fresh sushi created by the sushi chefs behind the counter, of course. It's a peaceful place to go when there's only few people in there. But, I could see it being loud if there were a packed house in there. I wouldn't say it's the best sushi I ever had, but it's fun for the novelty of it for sure.

It's small but when I go I can always find a table. We like the hot tea, the milk tea, and the miso soup is very good. And the takeout is great too. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because in the last year or so I've noticed some popular rolls and dishes like chirashi and California rolls have been prepared ahead of time. They're very cold, right out of the fridge, like sushi from Wegmans. I'm sure they were made that day, and I get they're trying to save some time, especially for the labor-intensive chirashi, but you can't taste it as well when it's cold like that. So I recommend sticking with some of the special rolls. We had a couple of the new ones today after they revamped their menu and they were very good.
