I visited on a Thursday and took full advantage of the half-off specials. I arrived about 40 minutes before closing, and as other guests left, I ended up being the only person in the restaurant. Honestly, it made for a great experience. The music was a fun mix of house music and R&B, and I found myself dancing in my seat while enjoying my meal. The staff was attentive without being overbearing. They checked on me when needed but also gave me space to relax and enjoy my food. You don't have much time to review the info sheet so figure out what things are before it passes you by, and you do have to eat it if you touch the plate. It's kind of a fun game to play! We enjoyed a nice lunch with fresh sushi created by the sushi chefs behind the counter, of course. It's a peaceful place to go when there's only few people in there. The AYCE also comes with a couple caveats. You're limited to 10 pieces of sashimi and 10 pieces of sushi- you can get as many maki/hand rolls as you'd like. So keep that in mind. I've never had a wait at Firudo and the staff is attentive. It's very clearly a family run business, which I appreciate. As long as you don't go expecting Jiro dreams of sushi, I think you'll have a great meal.

There's this restaurant and probably one other that serves this specific kind of food. Unfortunately, the last four times I called and made an order the person on a phone sort of comes off as rude in my Ramen soup and I'm in the soup not the food itself, but the soup face has been cold. I arrived on time or early and have to wait in the lobby, just a little while to get my food so I have a difficult time understanding why it has been cold. Again the food itself taste phenomenal and I will continue to order here. Just needs a little bit better customer service.
