Stop by on the way from Toronto to Albany. Hubby craving for korean food. Nice place. Plenty of parking and seat. Nice staff. Delicious korean food. Unfortunately we didn't have chance to try the sushi because we came bit too late. The sushi counter already closed the order for the night.

Whenever I hear people talking about Secret Garden, they talk about the half priced sushi days...but that is not why someone should go to Secret Garden. The best meals come from their Korean Menu hands down. You can almost never go wrong, for those feeling unsure on what to order, the jap chae, bibimbop or kimchi with pork is a great order. This past visit my party ordered a korean casserole..and we were not disappointed! For a great price this feeds up to 4 people and that was no exaggeration. We ordered the bulgolgi type and I am still thinking about the fantastic flavors. Its served to you similar to hotnpot where its heated and cooked fully at your table.

I will start this as I always do by saying that I do not give out 5 stars unless I am really blow away. This is called the Secret Garden for a reason. It is definitely a secret as I have not been here before. It was worth it. Probably one of the best sushi places in the Syracuse area. The decor is that of a nice hidden gem of sushi restaurant. The service was good as they were pretty busy. The most important thing is the food was spot on. The lunch menu was great and had a lot of options. I want to come back and try some other items on it. The fried wontons were delicious but the shumi was just okay. Sushi was slamming and I will come back just for that. If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? Oooooh you can't find it. Well it is a secret garden so that could be why. Well if you read this the secret is out and the directions are in Yelp.

This is my favorite spot in the world!!! I'm obsessed with their sushi it just hits the spot everytime! My favorite rolls are the Secret Garden and the Syracuse roll - how fitting! They have half off on Monday/Wednesday. Sometimes there's a longer wait than others but the wait is always worth it. The staff are so nice and they have other non sushi options on their regular menu. I've tried the fried rice and the yaki soba and both also delicious!!

The food here is the best in the area for traditional Korean! The service is always excellent as well. They bring out kimchi as well as pickled cucumbers and radish for appetizers. I'm so content after dining here each time.

This restaurant is in a great location with Tous Les Jours and Han's Asian market in the same plaza. It is a one stop shop for us, but the food is okay. Nothing crazy delicious and everything overpriced. Probably expected for the area, but coming here after living in Korea for years, it's heartbreaking. Galbi tang was delicious. The glass noodles were undercooked. Galbi was tender and flavorful but wow $28, no way. Yukgaejang was good, full of meat but also full of eggshells. Also had a strange.. old water smell Salmon sushi for $6.50? Yikes Will I go back? Probably. Am I excited about it? No.

I went on the day they had happy hour sushi/sushi rolls. This is probably the tastiest sushi/sushi roll place in town for a cheap price. I must say... the fish was super fresh. I didn't have any bad aftertaste or fishy taste. I am usually cautious of the salmon roe but it was fantastic, fresh and sweet. I had to order 2x because it was sooooo goooooood! I look forward to trying other dishes.

Yum! We came here on a weekend for lunch and it is not crowded at all. There is a great business model (cooler of bottles of wine at the front and you can grab whichever you want and bring it to your table for $15). We were started with some banchan which included daikon, kimchi, cucumber. We tried the Haemul Jeongol and a salmon roll. The salmon roll was pretty mediocre and I probably wouldn't come back for that. But the seafood jeongol - amazing! Overflowing with flavorful tasty items. The seafood included clams, a small blue crab, shrimp, fish. I'm just blown away by the flavor of the broth though. In the past, the jeongul broth would never be as good as soondobu, but I could drink all of this! Plenty of food for up to four people (we split it between two and had a lot of leftovers). Service was also excellent; my water glass was always full. When I'm craving Korean food, I'll definitely be back!

I haven't been here in a while and Monday and Wednesday are 1/2 price sushi days. Dine in only. There is a special menu but they also serve the regular menu. The two servers were efficient and friendly and very helpful. It wasn't terribly busy when I was there so I was able to ask some questions and chat a bit. I was curious about Soju, a very popular drink in Korea...I found out it is like sake but pretty strong so I'll need a designated driver when I try it! I ordered seaweed salad, shumai shrimp dumplings, salmon roll and Firecracker roll off the half price menu and Tteokbokki from the regular menu. Everything was so fresh, the dishes came out quickly as soon as they were ready. Tteokbokki is cylindrical rice cakes, fish cakes, sometimes onions, in a spicy, slightly sweet red sauce ( Gochujang, soup stock, garlic, sugar, soy sauce) I've had variations in different places, some spicier, or sweeter, etc.) I am definitely coming back to have old favorites and try new dishes.

Yeah I feel like the food is rather mid. Not bad but not great. I've definitely had better Asian food for the same price they're charging.

So just keep that in mind when you wanna visit during high traffic hours. Parking was a little tricky too. We ordered the combo plate with brisket and pulled pork and they both were 10/10. Super moist, tender and absolutely delicious. I can't say it was fully worth the wait of 1-1.5 hours but it sure was tasty.

Food came relatively quickly, and the waitress was just attentive enough that we didn't really have to look around for her, but not over-bearing. I am not a big fan of bbq, so I got fried haddock. It was so delicious! My family, who are big fans of bbq, said it was some of the best barbecue that they've had in the area. It's a little bit pricey, but overall worth it. The deviled eggs were also really tasty, and the cornbread is a sweet bread. There was a good amount of food, but I was one of the only people in my party to have leftovers to take home. My only complaint is that the mac&cheese did not have macaroni, and instead was a shell pasta (which really upset my sister haha). There is street parking, but there is also a lot across the road that you have to pay for before 5pm
