The service was excellent, and our server gave us some great recommendations throughout the evening. We tried the I Dream of Kiwi, Only Fans, and the Soft Serve Margarita. The first two were refreshing, fruity, and packed with flavor, while the Soft Serve Margarita was a fun twist on a classic. For food, we had the Caesar salad, beef cheek tacos, and the Apothecary Burger with the truffle fries upgrade. The Caesar was a little too heavy on the dressing for my taste, making it quite fishy, so I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side or going light on it. The burger with truffle fries was easily a 9/10, and the beef cheek tacos were just as good--tender, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. One of the best parts is the happy hour offered every day until 6:30 PM, with all "Over the Counter" cocktails for $12 and 50% off food. It's one of the better happy hour deals in Dallas, especially considering the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience. We'll definitely be back.

This time, I had to try the viral frozen margarita, and it totally hit the spot. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and honestly the perfect "boozy dessert" if that's what you're looking for. The dirty martini, my go-to, was also perfect. The most pleasantly surprising drink was the popcorn bourbon cocktail. It literally tasted like buttered popcorn in drink form, but still felt balanced with just enough bitter notes to let the bourbon shine. Overall, Apothecary continues to be one of my favorite spots for creative cocktails that actually taste as good as they look.

The oxtails were okay cooked with Lima beans or a bean, which should be lighter, I think and less salt. We as a community, need to welcome this place. It's, new and growing bigger and better. A business cannot perfect when we are not exploring yes? The customer service is A-1. They care a lot. Even though I have not eaten all of the foods, my best dish was the SUYA COMBO; the best in town and not overly spicy, it was just right. This place is New, and as Africans/Americans, MK needs your service. Again I like to welcome you guys here, and pray for your continued success! The Atmosphere of MK's is good to go party style planning or private party even, they have lots of room to hold you down, very professional on their view upon arrival... Do let's go party, or should we club, not sure, then show up, all come. You guys have my vote!

The Egusi Soup was delicious (one meat was a bit tough in this soup but not in my sisters Okra Soup), the price for the portion was not ok. The dish came out in a lovely brown wooden bowl, but the bowl was way too small for the price point. I have traveled all over in the US and in Africa and I can say this was one of the best soups I have ever tasted!!!! The flavor was 10 out of 10 ! I did speak with the young man that was there about that price and portion ratio , he was very polite. I think price and portion need to be revisited in order to keep customers coming back. Don't change the flavor at all!!! The drinks are very good as well as the price, we had Rum Punch. The restaurant was very clean as well; there is a sink available to wash your hands you don't have to go into a restroom to do that (reminds me of some African restaurants when I travel aboard) Also, the menu price on the menu is not what my sister was charged she had the Okra Soup and the menu stated $20 but she was charged $25 we questioned the young man due to the menu having one price and my sister being charged another, he did advise the price on the menu is being updated. I think customers should be alerted when an order is placed that the price on the menu is not the correct price before it is rang up in the cash register. I think a paper print out of the correct price will be ok until the new menu/QR scan menu is ready. We spent $80, if I am going to spend that much on a meal I don't want to be hungry in 3 hours or at least have enough to take with me to eat later and reheat at home as leftover. Also, the friend that suggested this place did warn me about the portions, but I was like ok let me go see for myself. I am only giving a 3 star due to the price and portion if the soup
