We just visited the new Okinawa Restaurant and it was such a pleasure! The staff was clearly new but they were working very hard to make sure everyone was happy. They were incredibly attentive. This restaurant is by far 10 out of 10. Great delicious food, with wonderful staff. You can't beat the quality this place has to offer. Decided to try this New Place bc "Miyakos" (which also serves Hibachi & is located down the street) was closed. The Food portions were Small and the food just wasn't good.. I am still confused on how you can mess up Hibachi, but they don't cook it in front of you so I don't know what went wrong. The Very Rude Manager Also refused to Give me my money back even after I expressed my dissatisfaction with the food to her, and that I didn't want the food! I've Never heard of such POOR Business Practice! My advice is just keep Driving and Don't waste your Time & Money Eating there.. You've been WARNED. read more

We started coming here a couple of months ago after reading good reviews. Have been coming regularly ever since. We usually get a sushi roll dinner. It is really good! Service is always friendly. Horrible customer service from the manager chase. Every since this guy became manager this place is going downhill. He does not reason with the customers and he told us he would not give us our soup/salad because the manager Charlie told him not to and he's not going to risk losing his job for us (even though it is apart of the dinner special we paid for) They day it's for inside only but it's not our fault that we're going through this pandemic. My family eats here at least 2 times a week but we will not be returning. And I asked for a refund before my order was made. He stated he'd rather lose a loyal customer then piss the owner off. So, I've come here often and eat. I've ordered 2-3 times a week at this establishment. I don't eat all this stuff, I just eat rice. But on 3 occasions that I've ordered rice to go, I get it home and it's dry as hell. So, I call back to let them know and take the rice back to the establishment for a remake. NOT A REFUND BUT ANOTHER ORDER. The Asian owner decided to tell his staff they can't serve me anymore because I always bring it back and complain. Out of the damn near 50 times I've eaten there in a months time, your cheap overcharging ass gets mad because I tell you your staff gave me dry rice?? Service is awful. Waited 15 for a pickup order even after arriving after the time they gave, was giving the wrong order and had to walk it back in the restaurant. Watched them re-plate a California roll they gave me and I brought back, I didn't touch the roll, but what if I did? Manager re-played it in front of me, with obviously no concern. Absolutely disgusting! This is never ok, but in a restaurant that serves raw fish it's that much more concerning. Who knows what else they reuse or repurpose. read more

Ok, my review is based on being a true lover of Japanese and Chinese food. If you really love Asian food, I wouldn't go here. If you only eat Asian food, occasionally, this place might be okay for you. The staff is very nice and efficient. The food is very lacking. I had the hibachi chicken bowl and crab roll. First, they drowned the rice in the bowl in teriyaki sauce. The rice was all stuck together. The most shocking thing was there were no veggies in the bowl. I don't know how it is hibachi when it is just chicken and rice drowned inTeriyaki sauce and a couple slivers and diced onions. It was weird. The crab roll was just okay. It was pretty boring. I got the food to-go, so I didn't have a chance to let them know, that the food was really a serious disappoinment. I would say that the food didn't taste horrible but didn't taste good either. I don't know who is actually making this food bit they need to step up their game. read more

I have been following the owner since he was sushi zen in acworth! Lots of the same employees through out the years shows that it is always consistent and the best sushi. This place was just-meh. Tried their Steak hibachi bowl and spicy salmon roll. I asked for the steak to be medium-they served it to me well done. With no seasoning. Also, i must not have had a clear understanding of what their hibachi bowls consist of, because my bowl was literally tasteless steak and rice and nothing else. I expected more, like veggies to be included. As far as the sushi is concerned, the sushi is so tiny. Unfortunately, the place is not worth the trying of trying again and I won't be back. read more

The Bowl and Roll was good; for about $13 you can get a salad, a sushi roll, and an entree bowl like General Tso's or Sesame Chicken with rice. Both were super delicious and a great value, more than enough to eat at a great place! Love this place! Going out to eat with a toddler is always...an adventure to say the least, but every time we go here it seems to go wonderfully! The staff is kind and patient. The kitchen is speedy. The food at this restaurant is really good. I love the Kani salad and yakisoba. The prices are reasonable compared to other hibachi and sushi restaurants.
