Was able to answer all my questions with ease and was friendly and upbeat during all her interactions with other customers as I waited. Food I wanted the hibachi steak with brown rice. They stopped selling brown rice and they will only cook steak well done. I always get steak medium at hibachi places because well done tends to be rubbery. So I wound up getting the chicken with plain white rice. I asked them to omit the teriyaki sauce glaze and broccoli. The chicken was tender and tasty and the veggies, though sparse, were cooked to a good consistency and not overly salted like some hibachi spots. Price / Value I thought the portion size was fair for the amount charged. I do realize that most hibachi places are relying on rice to fill you up - lol - and as you can see I got two massive scoops of rice. But I'm not a big white rice eater, so I was hungry a few hours later. Lol. Overall Overall, I think this is nice spot and I'd definitely stop by again if I were in the area. read more

It's a little restaurant in the plaza with Kroger, but don't let that turn you away. This place definitely surprised me. I took a chance since the reviews were good, but their food actually exceeded my expectations. It's a very small restaurant, so it's perfect for a grab & go. I got the beef bento box and it was so good! I wish my sushi wouldn't have been drowned in the sauce because I didn't want it after that. Unfortunately this is the third time this has happened to me at this restaurant. I pay for extra sauce and do not get it in my bag. When I call, the owner wanted me to bring the food and receipt back, to get them to refund me. The cashier acknowledged her mistake, but the owner wanted me to drive 15 min back to dispute their $1.00 mistake, this time. The tails were still on the shrimp in the meal. No consideration to the customer for their mistakes or shortcomings. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but when they do not correct an issue, it seems intentional and they do not care. Quite the pleasant surprise on today's travels...A 100 Health Score is a wonderful start and can't be beat...There is no extra-credit or bonus points, unless you consider the intangibles as part of the whole and all was good on that end as well. The customer service was exceptional and the woman running the register deserves any and all commendations. The price is right, the food was GREAT, cooked fresh and the portion was ample. (Side Bar: The sauce that came with my entree, I'm sure could very easily migrate between cultures and ethnicities - It THUMPS!!) After looking at the menu, I decided to order a soup as an appetizer: KOREAN DUMPLING SOUP (small) which consisted of scallions, beef, cellophane noodles, and strips of egg. For my entree I decided to order the Hibachi with beef and chicken. Everything was just okay. I would try something else in the future, just not the hibachi. Do not do it! You will thank me. Thank HEAVEN above I have experienced some of the worst food visiting Arizonia. Mexican food is not even good there. Sushi Stop, I loved! Anyway, I am so glad I did not order two of the sushi's rolls. Thank Heaven above! The young lady behind the register recommended the Dragon roll. I almost cut my gums chewing the overcooked disgusting mess! I am not sure as to why this establishment received almost 5's The wasabi had a funny taste. And I asked the young lady for extra wasabi and ginger and did not get either -but after tasting them, I am good! I end up throwing the food away. And those who know me, they know I do not waste food. Very disappointed IT IS CALLED FLASH FRY PEOPLE!!!! Flash! Like a flash of lightening! It quickly comes just as it quickly leaves the sky! My wife and I really like a few of the dishes here. I get the chicken katsu and it's very good. My wife gets a tofu dish and she really likes it. The staff is always friendly and I rarely have to wait to pickup my order. I'm getting hungry while typing this review so I'm gonna go place an order now. Staring with Pleasant phone etiquette: I was able to place my order and pick up within record time. Upon arrival, the food was ready and bagged to go. When I arrival home, I was pleased to know that Everything was accurate and they provided ample condiments. This is often the problem with many pick up items at other places. It was definitely made to order because the food was fresh and hot when we arrived home. For the price, we had plenty of food, so much that we were able to have left overs. I stopped in for lunch today and ordered the Chicken Hibachi and the Vegetable Dumplings. My phone was prepared quickly. The Health Inspection Score was 100. The place is very clean and there is a lot of parking given the shopping plaza location, but the food could've been better in terms of taste. I just felt like my chicken wasn't done and the hibachi vegetables were not true hibachi vegetables---they are steamed. Also, my dumpling seemed like they were undercooked or something I could've bought in a grocery store and heated in a microwave at home. I've been getting orders from Yummy off and on for the last two years are so, and the biggest pluses for them are consistency, speed, and quality. Every time I order, it's ready very quickly. Probably the longest I've had to wait is maybe 20 minutes. I'll admit, I've never eaten in, but they do have a small dining area. It's pretty convenient to get to and parking's not a problem. We've tried a variety of items on the menu, and the majority are good. The sushi is all cooked or uses smoked fish. So if you're looking for raw sushi, try the the coast or at least downtown (I've a rule about eating sushi anywhere except a coastal city). But, is you're not into raw or have kids, it's a good intro to sushi. The hibachi is inexpensive but the seasoning they use on the chicken isn't like other hibachi. I usually get the steak if I get hibachi. Dumplings/pot stickers are good, either fried or steamed. The variety of udon noodles are pretty good as well, nice for a cold day! My wife likes the tempura combos. Having ordered many times, I can say they're very consistent. Prices have ticked up some but that's pretty universal at this point. Overall, they're a quick and easy change of pace with a little bit of something for most people. read more

Terrible customer service, multiple wrong orders, long wait times, and they ripped us off Multiple HUGE mistakes with the food that are unacceptable at any restaurant. I do not eat pork or shellfish. I specifically asked when order the bulgogi kimbab if there were any fish products and confirmed that it was only veggies and beef. Thankfully I checked when I got my food and saw the crab meat. When I explained what happened the first response was: "We don't do refunds." That is a horrible response when the restaurant was the one who made a mistake. Once I reminded them that I specifically asked about fish they agreed to remake it. However they made a veggie one instead of the bulgogi one after specifically being told beef and veggies, just no crab. There's a price difference between the items, so by giving us a cheaper item than we ordered, they ripped us off. While waiting I had a bite of the "veggie" dumplings I ordered. They tasted meaty and I looked and saw the meat. They claimed that's just how it's made. They refunded it. I could get very sick, no matter the emotional consequences of unknowingly eating something like that. You can't be making huge mistakes like this with people's food. Sloppy, lazy, and dangerous for people with allergies or dietary restrictions. Even if you don't have restrictions, who knows what other corners they cut and what is going on back in that kitchen. No one seems to know what is in any of the menu items and that is seriously concerning. As for the other food, bland and lackluster. Probably some of the worst takeout food I've ever had. Not worth ordering, paying for, or eating, even without the other massive screw ups. read more

The katsu was decent sized and crispy with a nice, even coating. The bibimbap was excellent and fresh, though could use a bit more toppings. The interior of the small restaurant looked quite clean and elegant as well. It's an Asian fusion spot, so expect a mishmash of Korean and Japanese fare and not a Buford Highway style, 100% street cart-in-Asia-experience. It's exactly what it sets out to be; no tryhard "authenticity" here. I'm so glad there's finally a decent, respectable Asian spot in freakin Mableton. Support these folks! read more

Yum yum sauce tasted like nothing and the container was half the size as my previous visit. The ginger dressing lacked something. Pot stickers were ok but will give this place a miss the next time. This is my new favorite spot for lunch!! K Pop Noodle is my go-to order, it's delicious. I find myself slurping up that extra broth after all the noodles are gone, I don't care what anybody else thinks of me when I do it. I have visited this location twice and I was pleased both times, by the food and the service. The young ladies that work the front counter were knowledgeable and professional. They answered my questions and gave great suggestions. The restaurant was clean and they follow Covid protocols. There is ample parking as this is located in a larger sized plaza with the Kroger grocery store. Now, the food. The ramen is delicious, I got the chicken ramen. Their dumplings are yummy although I prefer the pork ones over the beef dumplings. The bulgogi was divine. I also enjoyed the shrimp tempura and smoked salmon sushi roll. My son likes the chicken and shrimp hibachi although he did not like their yum sauce, hence the four stars. I will go back, probably next week for some ramen. read more

At best gas station sushi! Fried rice undercooked and favors to wasabi being bland. I wanted to love this place as a potential hidden gem but a $5 Philly roll should have been a red flag. Chicken katsu was crunchy yet flavorless, each roll ordered (we ordered 5) were poorly rolled and the ingredients tasted off. The salmon in the philly roll was the same packaged smoked salmon you get from Kroger. The California roll had a gritty crab salad instead of the usual imitation crab/crab pieces. I got the shrimp and scallops hibachi, red snapper and scallops, pork dumplings, a sushi roll ( forgot the name ) and vegetable spring rolls. The hibachi was just nasty. No flavor , they steam their veggies so it just taste like water, the nastiest hibachi I ever ate. My husband ate the red snapper and said that it was off brand tilapia , they didn't even add salt and pepper. It was just bad. The pork dumplings were delicious , it comes with a dipping sauce and was really good. The vegetables spring roll turns out to be an vegetable egg rolls. I personally didn't care for it but my husband loved it. A little disappointed because we wanted that thin paper spring roll texture, not if Fan of egg rolls. The sushi was delicious as well , it was smoked salmon with some other ingredients. This place was super cheap ! Everything was $44. I will be back for sushi and apps only. read more
