This place has decent boba. Used to come here more frequently when they were newer and get their Sumo sized drinks, but having to wait 20 minutes sometimes after placing an order for boba is ridiculous! It is nice that they hand shake their iced drinks, but it seems like the difference between a hand shaken milk tea from a martini shaker and a milk tea just poured over ice isn't worth a long wait. If you drive by this place and there is a long line, I suggest driving on. If there isn't that long of a line, definitely go in and give this place a shot! Have yet to try their food, but they have some cool challenges you can try if you're up for it! read more

This is my most favorite place to get Thai milk tea in the United States lol and I have tried it all over the country. People here are really nice and the service is pretty fast. The only other thing on the menu that I have tried is the garlic fries which are ok. They also have a variety of gelatos, other milk teas, a charcoal burger, and make authentic octopus balls but I'm not that brave. This used to be my favorite place to get boba because of the selection of flavors and the price. I think they've hired new people without training them. I ordered a strawberry mango smoothie with boba. I waited 5 minutes and they handed me my drink. I drove off and took a sip in my car and only tasted strawberry. I drove back and explained what happened to their employee in the front taking orders and she said they would replace it. "Great!" Is what I thought until she handed me the exact same drink with a new lid. This is probably the 4th time I've had this happen since the start of 2018. I heard great things about Oko cafe, but when i finally tried it for the first time I was disappointed. The wait was ridiculous just for a drink. I stopped by the place to grab a QUICK drink , but they made it unbearable. I ordered almond milk with boba, the drink was alright not as good as i heard , but the boba had no sweetness to it and wasnt chewy at all. I love Oko! Their drinks are the best and they have a wide variety of flavors. You can choose any three flavors to make your own creations. Personally, I like strawberry, white chocolate and banana smoothie. There's also their Almond Tea that is a favorite and a safe choice for your first time. You HAVE to try their boba. I am very picking with boba and have come to only eat it if it's from Oko or from somewhere else that is highly recommended by my friends. The only setback (and the reason why it is only four stars) is that their kitchen hours are whenever the cook is in. It makes it hard to actually go eat there because you will never know when they will be open. I've ordered from the kitchen around 3pm. and tried to go again but they are closed. I've gone around 6pm. and they are still closed so it all makes it very confusing. Still, besides this, I love Oko. Their staff is friendly and their drinks are delicious! read more

I was only customer and just ordered one drink. When I tried to receive my drink, I was told they need number ticket which I already throw it away because no one told me I will need it. Out of of the many times that I've visited this place, I've only ordered a large drink about 2-3 times, because I always get the Sumo Size! My goal is to try every single flavor, but I often order the same things when I come back! It still impresses me how they do their stamp procedure since not everyone has that system. My family and friends became mutual fans of the takoyaki, but from my last visit, they don't make them on weekends anymore and apparently, they only do catering. The records of the ramen challengers are always interesting because of the things they've written and those give my friends and I something to read. Another cool thing about this place, is the 'musical scoring' because they play a lot of KPOP :) I've read the other comments here and I guess they didn't think of asking for the percentage of the sugar/sweetness they want for their drink. read more

really nice charcoal burger and my favorite drink here is the black milk tea. Everything is black or purple but tastes good lol. The cashiers' attitude isn't good, though. They got annoyed and gave me a hateful stare when I asked for a recommendation from the menu, or if it took a bit long for me to decide what I really wanted. They didn't really answer my question neither. That's why I'll give four stars instead of five. Hopefully, they improved the customer service. All three times I came here they acted the same way. They try so hard to do everything. It gets so crowded with all their new machines and stands. I ordered taiyaki and they didn't start making it until 10 minutes later. It's a good thing I asked because the guy who makes it left and didn't even check if there were orders. Pretty sure he's the manager. Horrible. Over 20 minutes to make two little taiyaki. Oko Café needs a makeover -- it doesn't seem like anyone is thinking about image or customer experience. There's so much potential at this location and setup, but Oko squanders it with awful presentation. The restaurant is being used as a storage unit. Why are there numerous cardboard boxes lying around? Why is there an out of commission taiyaki cart off near the entrance way? Why is there a gross, ratty piece of paper taped to every table (with an angry emoji telling you not to bring outside drinks, great subconscious message to customers) ... that incidentally will be a blemish in every attempt at a food photograph? Why is the only window view not covered by peeling posters obscured by a stack of chairs? Why is there a black board with scratched off half readable text? (That advertises an omusubi eating challenge? Way to NOT class up the joint.) Why are there three TV sets right next to each other, completely unused? Why is there an obnoxious flashing, seizure-iffic purple light blinking at all times toward the eating area? I could go on, because I've barely scratched the surface. But understand that this review is fueled by my desire to see this place grasp its full potential. My friends and I hangout here all the time after class and the service is always super nice and friendly. They change things so much. The drinks here are great, but my service today was just awful. There was two people ahead of me in line, waited like 10 mins but that didn't really bug me. The girls who worked today in the afternoon were incompetent of doing a simple job like working at a boba tea house. I was waiting for my drink inside, it wasn't busy at all. My drink was just sitting there while the "employees" we're just messing around and chatting. A few minutes later one of them decides then she wants to grab my drink and call out the number. When you enter the cafe the vibe is very mellow and chill, and the lighting is very relaxing. My fam and I went to the shop around 10:00 and it was still packed. Alot of people were standing but i think it was because a christmas tree blocked up a sitting area and it was really cold outside. The menu has alot of options from teas to gelatos to rice dishes. I believe there are five different cup sizes and they range from $3.75 to $6.95. One thing I didnt like was that they didnt label which drink was which but other than that the tea was really good!
