Went to HangOut 4 Happy Hour inside @a table. The Taquitttos were MeDioCRe and the Happy Hour menu was something different with NO SUBSTITUTES. That was ""something "" So thanks Ola, but I'm GOOD

Ate here in Covina and it had a great menu. The taquitos were good but the burrito was not the greatest. Seams like they used yesterday's asada. Service was first poor and then they had a shift change and it continued to be bad. Asked for ice tea and it took forever. Meal was done before 1st refill. She asked if wanted lemon and we said no, then she brought extra lemons. Kinda funny. Had to ask for extra plates and silverware 2xs. Don't think I would be back

The food was great and the staff was super friendly. The place has a club sort of feel. It is family friendly. They have a kids menu with tacos, chicken strips burgers. The staples kids like. A big drink menu.

Nice big parking lot around the area, and when we came around 9:30 AM there were still a few prime spots right in front--always a good start! Right away, the vibe was giving outdoor patio but with cozy indoor energy. Super clean inside and out, and the staff was really friendly. Our waitress this morning--her name was "B"--was the sweetest. Super kind, always checking in on us and making sure we were good. If you're like me and super indecisive, I usually stalk the menu the night before. But this menu was HUGE--pages and pages. I flipped straight to the brunch section in the back (three full pages!) and landed on the Supreme Skillet: potatoes, over-easy eggs, bell peppers, ham, and sausage. It came with three tortillas of your choice--I picked corn. Taste-wise, it was good, but I wish there were bigger and more pieces of meat. Compared to other skillets I've had, this one was a little light on the protein. It was $17.99. I'd rate it a 6.5/10, but with the refried beans on the side, it bumped up to a 6.9/10. My bestie ordered the Combo Benedict with French toast sticks, and honestly...the French toast sticks were the star. Super crispy, fluffy inside, and perfect with syrup. We also got the mimosa flight--mango, strawberry, and peach. All were tasty, super cute, and very Instagram-worthy. I can totally see this place popping at night with music and drinks. That said, even in the morning with only one other couple next to us, the music was pretty loud--it was kinda hard to talk during our brunch, literally had to look at besties lips to know what she's saying. I can't even imagine nighttime volume, lol. Overall: Ambience: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Definitely a fun spot to try, especially if it's your first time! But def plenty better brunch food out there! Happy eats!

OLA Restobar...Where the server hustles harder than the DJ! Came in after partaking in the Christmas parade with my husband, still buzzing from the floats and ready for food and drinks. The place had the perfect post-parade vibe: not packed, super chill, and the DJ was on a wild (but awesome) journey. He played old-school reggaeton, hip-hop, 80s throwbacks, banda, corridos... basically a musical piñata. Then there was Arturo (pretty sure that's what the name tag said). This man is a national treasure and an absolute MENACE (in the best way possible). I barely grazed the drink menu twice and POOF!! He materialized like a cocktail genie asking if I needed another round. His radar for empty glasses should be studied by NASA. I watched him zoom around the room subtly pointing at people's drinks like, "Hey! Your glass is looking a little lonely." He even stopped to help two girlfriends who were either attempting to take selfies, or simply asked him, or he could have offered. Dude's energy and permanent smile could power the whole block. Funniest, fastest, friendliest service we've ever had. Arturo, if you're reading this, (or your boss) you need to be given a raise, a cape, or both. Now, foodwise: Drinks? On point. Carajillo and Aperol Spritz were perfect. Food? Delicious. Queso fundido with shrimp disappeared in record time. My enchiladas de camarón were fantastic, and husband demolished the aguachile divorciados. Only tiny nitpick: the sauce on my enchiladas tasted too much like oregano to me. Everything else? Wonderful.

Best service I've had sitting at a bar in a while. Alexis was so attentive! Ok with our questions about drinks and food. Wasn't frustrated when we asked a few more he he. The manager Geo went above and beyond as well! He made himself visible during busy happy hour time, and asked how we were doing, that's going the extra mile! My husband and I will definitely be back. Great Carne Asada and beer!

I have been coming here for a little over a year. My friend and I like to come here to grab some food before we enjoy some nightlife in Covina. I always get the tour of the sea shrimp taco plate. It's $18 for four tacos. The tacos are good but I come back for the vibe. It's a good place to start the night. The music is ok but no one is ever on the dance floor. So we usually just eat then leave. They do have an extensive drink list. I gave tried the espresso martini and the lychee martini but I wouldn't recommend either one at all. The beer is ice cold and the service is somewhat slow but not terrible. Very polite and respectful, but I waited 20 minutes for the check to come last night. We can move a little better than that. A good place to start the night or watch a game. I would recommend coming in a Sunday at brunch time.

Thanks to Erica at the bar I had suck a great time! A lot of TVs, Sound and music is good. And even though I wanted a regular consume (I should have read the menu) this shrimp and fish soup had great flavor plus on lunch it came with a Margarita. My friend had the taco plate and it was a lunch special with a Beer. I definitely will be returning to the place especially if Erica is working at the Bar or floor!

OLA is located off Citrus Ave and parking is available all over but can be challenging during prime time hours. I appreciate that there's indoor and outdoor seating. There's plenty of seating and they offer TV for entertainment. It's suitable for all crowds. The music is a bit too loud for my preference. Customer service was accommodating. She made her recs which I appreciated. Portions are plenty and food had a ton of flavor.

Beer is nice and cold, fish tacos are delicious, spicy sauce available../ ambiance is great, Arturo, Geo and B the bartender are great. They're on top of everything, great customer service, they have taco Tuesday specials, they have lotería nights, karaoke nights and a Banda night, I love the music they rock and they have the games too. Oh don't forget about happy hour.

Such a fun place for date night. And it won't break the bank either. We ordered so much food for just us two, and we had so many leftovers. They price their food reasonably, but the quality of their seafood is superb. Everything is fresh. Portions are generous. And the servers are kind and attentive. It's definitely a neighborhood gem.

As I pulled up to the parking lot, I noticed they had an outdoor seating area, which is really nice on hot days. It looked like a great spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a drink in the evening. When I went inside, I immediately liked the camping and outdoor vibes. The whole place has that rustic, lodge-style feel that makes it stand out. They had a bunch of pinball machines, which was a fun surprise, and there were murals all around the walls -- including ones of Lakers legend Kobe and the LA Dodgers. It definitely gives off strong local pride and a laid-back atmosphere. The inside is very spacious, with plenty of room to move around and a lot of TV screens, making it a solid spot to catch a game. I could easily see myself coming back to watch a Dodgers game there. That said, my experience at the bar wasn't the best. When I stepped into line to order, it seemed like the two beertenders were a bit distracted. There was a group of ladies sitting at the bar, and it felt like they were getting most of the attention. Usually, beertenders are welcoming and might ask something like, "Is this your first time here?" but the guy with the long mustache who served me gave off more of a "What do you want?" vibe. I asked for a taster, and he did provide one, but I didn't feel comfortable enough to ask to try anything else. At other breweries, I usually feel encouraged to explore the menu a bit more. Instead, I just winged it and ordered the Pink Lemonade Seltzer. It was okay, but compared to a lot of seltzers out there now, it wasn't very flavorful. It almost had a slight medicine-like taste. Because I didn't really feel the love from the beertenders, I ended up having just one drink and heading out. The space itself has a lot going for it -- great theme, fun games, plenty of TVs, and nice outdoor seating -- but I definitely think there's room for improvement in the customer service department. I might give it another try in the future, especially to catch a Dodgers game, but I'm hoping for a warmer, more welcoming experience next time.

Girls' Night, Loud Music & Mystery Margaritas…read more Met up with my girlfriends after work and decided to give this spot a try. Parking was easy enough with plenty of spaces out front, which is always a great start. Walking in, I immediately noticed the ambience was on the darker side. Part of the dining area was closed off for a large party watching a soccer game, so we were seated at a few high-top tables near the bar. Not a big deal, but wow... this place is dark. And the music? Let's just say if you're planning to catch up with friends, be prepared to leave with a slightly raspy voice because you'll be doing a lot of repeating yourself. Now for the fun part... the margarita flight. It was my first visit, and honestly, it felt like it may have also been our waitress's first day. She was very sweet and checked on us often, which I appreciated, but when I asked about the margarita flight, things got interesting. The flight that arrived looked nothing like the photos I'd seen. Instead of the three cute margarita glasses pictured online, ours came as four small colorful shots--yellow, green, red, and orange. Naturally, I asked what flavors they were. Her response? "I have no idea." I even showed her the photo from Yelp, and she said she'd never seen it before. At that point, my friends and I just started making up our own flavors. As for the food, we took advantage of the 2 for $22 lunch special and ordered: * 6 Chicken Taquitos * 3 Steak Tacos * Steak Nachos * 6 Lemon Pepper Wings Honestly, everything was pretty decent! Then again, food always tastes a little better when you're starving after work. The asada tacos were flavorful, the wings hit the spot, and the nachos disappeared pretty quickly from the table. Now for the moment that truly left us scratching our heads... We ordered additional food and packed quite a bit to go. Since my friend's taquitos came with salsa, sour cream, and guacamole, we naturally asked if there were lids so we could take them home without turning the car into a dipping sauce disaster. Her response? "I'm sorry, we don't carry lids." Confused, I asked, "So what happens when people eat here and want to take leftovers home?" And without missing a beat she replied: "People that eat here don't usually take things home." Wait... WHAT?! I've eaten at a lot of restaurants over the years, and I can honestly say I've never received that response before. No lids? For anything? It was one of those moments where my friends and I just looked at each other wondering if we heard correctly. To be fair, I don't know if she was new, nervous, or just having an off day, but that interaction alone pretty much sealed the deal for me. Looking back it's actually pretty funny, but it's definitely not the kind of service experience that would make me want to come back for a second visit. Overall, I'd give this place 3 out of 5 stars. The food was decent, the waitress was sort of kind yet dismissive, but between the extremely loud music, dim lighting, mystery margaritas, and the unforgettable "people don't usually take food home" comment, this ended up being more memorable for the wrong reasons than the right ones. So for her responses & personality alone, bumped it down to 2/5 stars for me. Worth trying once? Sure. Would I come back? NOPE! Happy eats!

Amazing…read morebeers, delicious food, a cool hybrid restaurant setup, attentive staff with cool uniforms. The place was the sh*t. I've come here several times over the past couple years and it's more and more dead at the restaurant every time. The waitresses are absolutely dreadful. Every request is forgotten or takes 20 mins to arrive at the table. When we arrived we waited 20 mins for a waitress. We asked for some sauce, they forgot. We ordered a pizza, which was delivered to the wrong table. When we wanted to leave, the check took 20 mins as well. Now I have a crying baby and I'm waiting for them to try and split the check two ways and I eventually give up knowing that the task is too much for them to handle and just pay it all on one card. We had to track down the waitresses multiple times. It's like they have NO ability to anticipate the needs of their customers. "They ordered, pizza, maybe I should bring some plates". Nope! "They'll probably want their sauce before the food item is ICE COLD". Nope! Anytime we went into the restaurant the girls were on their phones. There were five tables in the restaurant tonight so there really was no excuse. I think this will be the last time I ever go to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the reputation of the old Congregation Ale House kept me coming back even when time after time, the service was abysmal, however, now that Congregation's former glory is thoroughly tarnished I can honestly say that I will not be coming back and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Quality like this cannot be tolerated. Travis, the former owner, would be ashamed of this fall from grace. R.I.P. Congregation Ale House
