2 meat platter + bologna slice
    Sheri B.

On a recent Branson trip, our friends asked if we had ever been to this venue. We had not, so we joined them for lunch. All the review said get here before they open as they sell out everyday. Taking that advice, we went. Arrived 10 minutes or so before opening time. Once the doors opened we were behind a hand full of customers and lined up to place our orders. While waiting our turn there was an employee that was explaining some of their offerings. We decided upon the 2 meat platter and my husband wanted to add another side and a slice of the smoke bologna (something he likes)! Our meal arrived after a short wait. Our platter consisted of prime smoked brisket, ribs, and the bologna. We had three sides, pit beans, potato salad and the corn casserole (highly recommended). The brisket was so very tender and possibly the best I have had! The ribs were a dry rub and fall off the bone! He loved the bologna and it had great flavor! The corn casserole was incredible and so good! If you like pit beans, you must try these! Smokey with bits of smoked meats!! The potato salad is very good too! This is located in the same building next to a gas station and is not very big, but there is an outside seating area too. Can't wait to go again and try another item! Hear the burgers are awesome!

    Baked beans - AWESOME!

Outstanding prime brisket, ribs, and baked beans. Get there before 1:90 or "good luck" they may be closed without warning when they run out!

Wow this was phenomenal bbq! This was my parent's favorite bbq place we have been. The sides are all homemade and very tasty. The ribs and brisket were cooked perfectly and our favorite. The staff was friendly and helpful. This was a cute little place they have a nice patio to eat on too. Don't miss the three layered key lime pie!!! Soo good!!

Great BBQ! Highly Recommend. Definitely worth a stop here. There was a line outside around noon on Saturday. Line moved quickly. There's seating both inside and outside. There was also live music outside. In order of my fav (if I can decide): Ribs. Some of the best. Fall off the bone and tender. Great bark and seasoning. Need to get everytime. Potato salad. Wow. Amazing flavor. Will get every time. Corn casserole. Wow. Great texture flavor. Beans. Had sausage. Very tasty. Brisket. Got the lean. Great bark and seasoning. Not as tender as the ribs. Mac and cheese. Good. Mile high key lime pie. Good. Great service! Small lot. Some parking on the other side of the gas station. They close when they run out. Go early. Can't wait till I get the opportunity to return!

Brisket, pulled pork, hot link, potato salad and beans all were delicious!

Sure enjoyed our visit here. The gentleman that waited on us was very friendly and polite. My wife had brisket and pulled pork and I had brisket, pulled pork and a hot link. The brisket was seasoned, smoked and cooked perfectly. We look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic BBQ, huge portions, and friendly folks running the place. We took a crew of 8 guys in for lunch. I had heard that they sell out daily--and we showed up about 10 minutes prior to them opening to find about 5 people already waiting in line for the doors to open. While we were there, I don't think there was ever a moment where there wasn't a line of people waiting to place their order. The BBQ did NOT disappoint either. Amazing ribs, amazing brisket, and the desserts are on point! Highly recommend it and would get there early. Inside seating probably holds ~30 people, but it's a cozy little place. I think they had some outdoor tables off to the left side as well, but I didn't specifically go look out there to see the setup.

Brisket was very, very good. This BBQ spot is small and tucked away, but their meats are smoked to perfection. If you love a good brisket, Old 76 Smokehouse will not disappoint. They do have gluten free side options: beans, potato salad, coleslaw (just remember to say no bread, or get the bread on the side). Staff were very friendly.

    The "The Pig Cheezy"!

We go out of our way to go to Old 76. Either coming into town or on the way home. This is the only place within 100 miles that has "Texas brisket "!

This review is easy peasy bacon greasy! 5 stars all day long, i live in KC and travel the south, i have eaten BBQ at most well know establishments, its a passion, and this place does it well. The ribs were up there, they are as good as Joe's, Slap's, or Gettin Basted! The bark was beautiful and the bite was even better! We also had the smoke Bologna sandwich...BAM! They have a wonderful sauce, we loved the Mac and coleslaw. Finish with the Whiskey Barrel Bread Pudding for dessert! Will be a regular here...

The best BBQ around the area. A must try if you are at the lake. Very friendly family owned and operated business.

We settled on a fried pork tenderloin and a single burger. The food was excellent, freshly prepared, and piping hot upon arrival. The staff was very helpful and attentive. You order at the counter and take your number to the table and the kitchen delivers it in a very reasonable time. The drinks are self-serve but members of the staff asked if I'd like a refill and did the running for me. They even brought me a "to-go" cup when we finished our meal. It was very comfortable and quiet during our visit but with a full dining room it has the potential to be a bit noisier. With a live band, it could be more than a bit louder. Tips: Head to the back and browse the vendor booths on the way. Expect to make some compromise decisions. You can't eat everything at one visit. On the way out buy something and support a local vendor. The building's purpose to give local vendors a place to sell. No vendors will cause the grill's rent to skyrocket.

Me and my buddy decided to visit Branson for a movie and we decided to stop in at a random place to…read moreeat. We decided on Crazy Craig's treehouse, one that looked like cozy simple affordable food. Upon walking into the establishment, we discovered that the parking lot is a tight entry with the infamous Branson hills. The exterior was appealing and cool to look at yet the interior was cramped and barely any room to sit. They did have a nice area to sit upstairs though the pool table upstairs didn't contain the ball rack and the table was incredibly dirty/unmaintained. Moving onto the service. We were told to sit anywhere and someone would come and check on us, it was several minutes before someone came to check what we wanted with little to no business going on. However they were nice so that was a nice plus. The pricing for this place is a little overpriced for the simple food menu they have. We paid 10 dollars for chips and queso and the serving size that was on the platter was barely enough to feed us both. Our main entrees were easily 15 dollars a plate and not to mention that it took quite a lot of time for everything to come out. The overall taste of the food/drinks were very disappointing. My Dr Pepper was extremely flat no matter a refill or not, the chips were stale, and the queso tasted like fake cheese (only cheese I can compare it to is lunchables). My chicken sandwich I ordered was incredibly subpar: especially since when I pay 15 dollars for a sandwich I want a patty and not two chicken tenders plastered on a bun. Especially the pepper jack cheese on my tender sandwich had absolutely no spice which made me believe it was fake cheese as well. Even the pepper from the shaker only had a hint of the taste of pepper. The worst experience in this first and last visit was the fact that the pepper sauce (hot sauce) was all expired. Our tables sauce had expired on July 2025! I checked other tables and only one of the tables had a September 2027 date the rest had May 2025. So I didn't use any condiments on my food which overall ruined my meal. The only truly good food product I had was the French fries so if you go here just order the fries from the appetizer section and seeing how they are a bar as well: drink while you're here because you will need it to get through main entrees. Overall: friendly slow service, bad food, bad soda, and tight space and parking lot. Not worth your time!
