For a small, family owned biz, they are doing their best to bring delicious home-smoked food. Sometimes the staff can get flustered when there is a rush and they are short-staffed but they still bring out great food even if it takes a little longer to prepare. I recommend the BBQ nachos, Fried catfish (Friday special), burnt ends (Thursday special), the chicken strips, and bread puddings. They close early (8pm on weekdays) so arrive before 7:30 if you want to go! Since it's family-owned, they like to be home early I guess to enjoy their night with their family. :) Still worth the go and wait.

Family owned restaurant with daily specials but today we had the beef brisket sandwiches. Missed catfish Friday yesterday. Brisket was delicious though! And we found room left to split a Bread Pudding with ice cream. So good. Highly recommended,

We found the fillin station while traveling around. The Burnt Ends were to die for.... the meal was hot and ready comes with two sides and the BEST HOMEMADE BREAD you ever ate. Definitely a place to NOT MISS!!

This place is super delicious and Shane was a great host! Go early since all the good food runs out fast. We visited from Texas and really liked the BBQ burnt ends. Definitely give the Fillin Station and try.

The Fried green beans are so good we almost forgot to take a pick!

On a recent trip to Branson we rented a condo and this one one of the only place pen in the fall season so we didn't want to drive 45 mins to Branson. I will say they are friendly and. Worked hard to accommodate our large party of 15. But it's not real clean. I had a had a hair in my burger. It seem to be more locals that go here. So we won't be going back if we are in the area.

Fried Catfish, Fritters, Fresh Home made chips and coleslaw.

This place is always a must stop and eat for us when we are in town. If I'm in town I try to make sure we go here on Friday (Fish night) or Saturday (Fried Chicken) night. Great food and wonderful service.

Take this place for what it is: a knockout Mom-n-Pop, down-home restaurant. We came in around dinner time with three small kids. My husband had the Roast Beef Special with mashed potatoes and cream corn. I ordered a Hickory-Smoked Combo with Pulled Pork and Brisket, green beans and cream corn as the sides. The kiddos had a corn dog and grilled cheese. The roast beef was great, BBQ was decent. The cream corn was delicious, the kernels are still moist, sweet, and crunchy and the dressing isn't overpowering. My kids scarfed every bit of their meals, I guess that's an indication they enjoyed their supper- right? What blew us away was the dessert. We had cherry cobbler and pecan cobbler, both served with ice cream. We were STUFFED, trust me. The cobbler was so good we couldn't stop! Loved the staff, prices were fair, food was great. I'd definitely recommend to families, large or small, wanting to save some money and avoid the chain restaurant JUNK. This is a gem for sure.

    Excellent pot roast.

The Best things here are homemade desserts, beards & daily specials. Good home cooking. The hamburgers are disappointing & ordinary. The BBQ items are over-smoked & the sauces are worse than ordinary. BUT if you like good pot roast, or catfish or even meatloaf, this is a great place. Just don't order the BBQ or you'll be disappointed. I come here often for the great specials.

    The sampler platter. Yum!

Great great food! Hospitality is incredible and only adds to the small family country bbq/cafe.ribs rocked. Just right. On point with the bark. St. Louis style, HUGE stuffed potato. Can't wait to go back for the fried chicken.

Not what it used to be. Food was bland, small portions, help seems to argue among themselves. Created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Disappointed there's only 5 stars here…read more Having been a local for a few years now, and hearing wonderful things about this place, we finally went. All the wasted time!!!! This small unassuming building is easy to pass by. Ya know those cartoons when a scent wafting through the air grabs a dog's nose and leads him to a meal? Yeah, that's kinda the vibe here. You order at the counter, pay (slightly pricey, but generous portions), and soon a huge platter is set before you. I ordered a Two Meat Plate with ribs, brisket, corn casserole and pit beans. Ribs: Tender, lovely smoke ring, quite meaty. I don't have the vocabulary to describe the rub, but I liked it. A lot. Nice crust on the exterior. Brisket: So many choices! Lean/fatty (or just maybe the counter guy said, "Lean, Fatty!"), sliced/chopped, prime/choice. Also good crust, smoke line, juiciness. But something was off. See below for further. Sauce: Not nearly as spicy as I like, and a bit bland when tasting off of my finger. However, when applied to the brisket, something magical happened. The best sauce/meat pairing EVER!!!!! My much better half has chicken and pulled pork. Don't know how hers was. Didn't care. Didn't ask. But she ate and didn't yap , so I'm happy. If she sees this, I'm effed. Dessert: Home made Key Lime Pie. Kermit's in Key West, FL LOOK OUT!!!!!! A magnificent meal.

We ordered the Pulled Pork Combo & the Chopped Brisket Sandwich. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our server, Felicia, did an excellent job of taking care of us & the prices were quite reasonable ( 2 entrees, 2 soft drinks & a side ) for $ 39.21. Honestly this was the best BBQ we both have ever had! I highly recommend giving Razorback Ribs a try.

Carolyn's was close by and had good reviews so we decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint. We were quickly greeted and given menus and offered something to drink. Our server, Stacy, let us know right away they were out of ribs and pulled pork which was understandable since we arrived after 7 pm on a Monday evening. After perusing the menu, we decided on the brisket sandwich, sweet potato fries and coleslaw, and a meat platter with brisket and their smoked sausage which comes with two sides. We also got the spicy nips as an appetizer (sliced jalapeño peppers battered and fried to a golden brown). All the food was delicious and expertly prepared. The batter on the nips was unique and crispy and I tried to figure out what they used, but I couldn't quite make it out. They were really good and super spicy, we loved it! The meats were fresh and obviously of good quality. The brisket was perfectly smoked and had a nice rub on it and the barbecue sauce was delicious as well. The sausage they use was also very good, smokey and lean. It reminded me of a sausage I had when I was a kid, visiting my grandparents in the south. Everything we had was outstanding. So much so that we came back the next night for their brisket tacos which are served on, you guessed it, Taco Tuesday. We got there early the second day so as not to miss out on the ribs. The Saint Louis style ribs, had a nice rub and were perfectly smoked. They were served with just enough sauce so you could leave them as is or add more if you prefer more sauce. The meat was fall-off-the -bone tender, but still with enough bite to chew. The service was great too. Stacy was very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. We also met another customer who came back the next night and said he goes there most nights for dinner. We certainly would come back frequently if we lived in the area.

This bbq place is new (I think a few months) and is the 3rd or 4th restaurant in this Tontitown/Springdale location in as many years. I sincerely hope they make it. However, there is one suggestion that has nothing to do with food quality. That is the lack of atmosphere. Hanging a couple old quilts on the wall for color and interest would go a long way. Or, just add some vintage posters. The place is depressing. Good luck!!!

It feels like an in house home cooked BBQ meal, and that just makes it feel comfortable and safe! 2. Yes, it could be more tender, smokey, and with bigger taste profile. But this would be fine if I'm just wanting something that I wouldn't be upsetting. 3. The BBQ egg rolls were great and everyone loved them! The okra was really great also! 4. The potato salad was not the best and could use improvement. The burnt ends were very sweet and sugary which isn't normal to me, but it's simple and ok. The brisket wasn't bad but everything needs more smoke. I am rating it at 4 because of everyone's feedback. As for me, I'd give it a 3 star, but still better than Central that used to be in Fayetteville...not saying much. For a local BBQ place that isn't big time it's just fine! The service was quick and easy. I'd like to see how it goes down the road.
