Have loved this place for a long time. Pizzas are always very good. Whether ordering a thin crust, an ale crust (typical hand tossed) or a chicago deep, they are all good. The gem of old Chicago is definitely the pepperoni rolls and the stuffed mushrooms! Both a must try. This location is typical of any others I've been to. I do have to say that I had to return my pepperoni rolls because some.had no pepperoni in them and others just a single piece of pepperoni. They must have a lazy cook back there. The manager did get on it right away and brought me new pepperoni rolls stuffed with pepperoni (the way they are supposed to be). Thisnis the second or third time I've had issues with a cook here being a bad one, or lazy, or whatever the case may be. 1 star is generous. Upon arrival we walked up to the hostess stand and had to greet the hostess first, she asked "how many?" and we told her "just two." She grabbed two menus and walked away, no "follow me, this way," nothing. She placed our menus on our table and walked away without a word. We then proceeded to wait 20 minutes without a "hey l'm your waitress I'll be right with you," nothing. 20 minutes later, our waitress approaches our table with another waitress near by and says right in front of our faces "UGH the hostess double sat me," full of attitude and disdain. In the same breath she says "hi what can I get you to drink." Already feeling like our presence was a HUGE inconvenience, we order our drinks and said we were also ready to order. I proceed to say "I'll just have a side Cesar salad." Our waitress puts down her writing pad down, looks at me and says "is that it?" i replied with "yes." And she looks over at my husband and says "you brought her out to dinner and all she orders is salad?" I sat in silence as this waitress HUMILIATED me. Next, our food comes out, my husbands dish first. We waited another several minutes until my salad arrived. The food was terrible. My husband ordered the chicken Bacon Mac and cheese, which was dry and bland. My side Cesar salad (which to credit, was huge) was overly saturated in cheese and dressing. We also did not have silverware, and our waitress proceeded to say "do you want silverware or are you going to eat with your hands?" Never again. read more

I placed my order online at approximately 4:00pm Sunday, 1/3/21 for a 5:15pm pickup. My father-in-law picked up the order. At the restaurant he saw that there were numerous patrons and staff at the front of the restaurant either not wearing their covid masks, nor covering their mouth and nose. While attempting to check in with the host counter, the host was socializing with a gentleman wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt who was not properly wearing a mask. The individual did not get the hint that business needed to be conducted and would not leave the host station which resulted in a crowding situation. My father-in-law asked him to move in order to abide by social distancing guidelines. Evidently the host, who was a male wearing an Orange Denver Broncos t-shirt did not grasp the unprofessionalism that was occurring and failed to tell his friend to step away so the transaction could be completed. Once my father-in-law returned with the food. We found that two items wrong. First- A make your own pizza was ordered with Canadian Bacon. The attached picture shows no Canadian Bacon. My son did not feel like waiting any longer to eat and just dealt with it. Second- A build your own calzone was ordered with Black Olives and Mushrooms. When my wife began to eat the calzone she found it was half avocado and half pepperoni (see picture below). She also chose to not wait any longer and just picked the avocado out and eat that half. This lack of professionalism and lack of attention to detail is why Old Chicago Clarksville is receiving a poor review. If you order wings expect to be disappointed. I got wings to go, ended up with 5 and 1/4(being generous on the 1/4) wings. They were dry, and tiny even had a drum stick break in half at the bone as I was eating . I love the pizza here when it's done right, sadly I have ordered the same double deckeroni, and it has been messed up 7 times in a row. Today they also messed up the other half of my order which was a Detroit style pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni, it came with just cheese. They did a remake, which I was thankful for, but my pizza just sat, so while the remake was fresh, the other pizza was cold, and made yet again without the proper toppings ‍. My friend and I ordered Chicken & Bacon Mac. When our food came, it was cold. We sent it back and asked it to be hot please. When it came back a second time, it was obviously microwaved. The top was hard and the cheese was watery, making the dish incredibly bland. On top of that, it was still cold in some parts. We were with a large group that occupied multiple tables and had asked around about their food. Most had mediocre reactions while some had similar problems with their food. Few people had good reviews. We talked to our waitress about it, and got the food taken off our tab. The waitress was wonderful and a trooper for having to be the person caught in the middle of our problem with the kitchen. We tipped her considerably but I would not recommend this restaurant. From our observations, the food is a hit or miss and usually a miss. P.S. (My opinion and Gordon Ramsay's) A microwave doesn't belong in a restaurant's kitchen. read more

The entire event was an epic fail at all levels. Being stuffed in a corner may have contributed as all four groups were comped their meals during our short visit. The waitstaff was unattentive and put the wrong orders in. Of the order that was correctly input, the kitchen made it wrong. Our food was delivered to other tables and after an hour of being there (with no refills), the manager on site comped our ticket. I still left hungry because there was no way I was waiting for another round of food from our waiter. They got 2 stars because they comped the meal (not like we ate much). Update: I just got done relaying my concerns to a high enough level of management that can cause change. We walked into the restaurant on a Monday Feb 7th. We we stood there for five minutes and no one came to even say it will be a minute. There was a server standing right by us and never even acknowledged us. I would be more understanding if there were more customers. There were a total of 8 cars in the parking lot. My fiancé and I absolutely love this place. Every server has been extremely friendly and prompt to answer our questions about joining the Old Chicago Rewards Club. If the server doesn't know an answer they're quick to go ask their manager to be absolutely sure that they give correct information. One time I had a question and the manager came out himself to give an explanation and was way more helpful than he needed. It felt great to be at an establishment where the staff goes above and beyond! Can't wait to come back and eat some more pizza to ruin my New Years resolutions of losing weight. Maybe we caught them on a bad night? We were served our wings with no dishes to eat off of so we all used our napkins as plates. We asked for dishes but the wings were gone before we were served with dishes. I had the pesto chicken panini and it was served just warm. I was given the choice of ketchup with my fries, obviously, but I practically finished my fries before I was served the ketchup. We asked for the menu back for dessert and we were given the menu but all of our dirty dishes stayed on the table. We ordered the cheesecake and it took about 10-15 minutes to come out. This place was absolutely amazing. The only thing I'd really deduct points was their social distancing. From what I seen every table was in use regardless back to back,only thing that seemed different (of course I've never been here so other things may have been and I wouldn't have known regardless), is the bar was blocked off. The food was absolutely delicious!! Our family tried a variety of things, pizza, the hangover burger (son loved and ate every last bite), kids Mac and cheese, chicken pesto Mac (best that I've had besides homemade), and the calzone. Portions were good for the price and our waitress was great. Very friendly, kept our drinks full, checked in with us but not too much to were it was annoying. Great place! I really love this place.. They have over 100 types of beer and a thing called the beer tour. You receive a card that keeps track of each beer you drink and they have prizes after a certain number of beers.. They also do a beer of the week on Wednesday and you are able to count that beer a few times on your card. So if you really like the beer that day then you keep drinking it and I think it will count each time for four times. The food is always really good and the service is always fast. Any who, the pizza crust was amazing; both styles were delicious for their respective textures. The sauce was not too tangy nor too sweet, and the amount was perfect. The cheese was rich, plentiful and flavorful (as every other component) - The best pizza in the area, hands down! The place was busy Saturday and Sunday, but there was no wait. Nicole (the waitress), was very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our visit was satisfactory/enjoyable...We will be back once he returns from vacation, week after next! The dessert was overcooked, but there is a thin line between done and dried out, but either way: the caramel wasn't rich, the bun wasn't buttery and the crunchy topping? Meh. We use to live in Clarksville and Love going to OC for pepperoni rolls. We decided to order the family meal and have my daughters' birthday at my inlaws. We had two pizza, pepperoni rolls and a cookie. During the pandemic, I would hope they would bring it out to the car, but they said we had to come in. Everything was ready on time and front house staff was friendly. When we got home, and was having the party, the pizzas where major disappointment. Not many toppings on the supreme, and the layers of cheese on the double pepperoni where not even melted. The rolls that I told everyone was the best, was cold and not completely cooked. I don't normally do this but this is well deserved. We understand that the entire world is freaking out about Covid, but our county is lifting the mask requirements next weekend. My wife had a medical procedure on her nose/face and was just holding the mask. The hostess would not seat her until she wore it correctly. It was covering her nose & mouth, loosely. She even told the hostess why she didn't have it strapped on her face tight to no avail. Then I walked in after she was seated (it was pouring rain and I dropped her off like a gentleman). I had been running, pouring rain, and I was putting my mask on as I walked in the door. The same hostess barked at me. I was putting it on. I get it, follow the rules. But there is a way to to ask a customer to do something.
