I reached out to the dealership a couple of months later, hoping they could provide the mats that I expected to be included with the vehicle. Instead, I was told that I could purchase them from the dealership. Overall, the experience left me feeling that there was a lack of transparency during the purchase and a lack of willingness to address the issue afterward. I would encourage anyone considering purchasing from this dealership to carefully review all fees and confirm exactly what is included with the vehicle before finalizing the deal. Worst experience ever…read more I purchased a acura RDX on Wednesday 12.10. On Thursday 12.11. I realized this car was not for me. Yes I should have done more research before signing. More so I should have looked at their other reviews and reports against them with the better business bureau. I thought being one day after purchasing I would be able to return the car. They offer a 5-day satisfaction guarantee on their websites. After being unable to reach my salesperson and finding out he was out of office. I tried to reach a manager. No luck. The next day my sales person reached out. He said he wished he could help but the car was already registered. I took this as understandable until I reached out to the RI DMV and confirmed it was not registered. Finally after calling them out on this. I was offered a swap for a lower model car. Still basically at the same payments. I finally was able to reach a manager. I explained the whole situation. He went down on the price of the lower model car by not nearly enough. I explained at this point I just want to return the car and unwind the deal. He told me that was too bad and I was contracted in. I am a local guy who has been with Honda/Acura for over a decade. This is beyond disappointing.

My car has always come back from him expertly repaired. His two mechanics (Rob & Dave) and the best in the business and know exactly what they are doing. They can (and have) been able to just listen to the car and tell me exactly what the problem is. Whether minor or major work, It always gets done one time, on budget and there has only been 2 returns for the same problem as they had different options for the solution to the problem. They tried one and when that didn't solve it, they tried the other. They didn't want to change out 2 parts at the same time as they would not know which of the 2 was actually causing the problem. They only charged me for the one that was the culprit. You couldn't ask for a better shop to do business with.

Stay clear of this business. The owner is a real piece of work who can't keep up with his lies and…read morestories. Repairs take forever and the kids working for him, according to him, quit, don't show up, or he lets them go. Just one of his excuses for shoddy work. He doesn't give receipts, loves cash only, never shows the work performed or proof of parts removed or replaced. Even though he quotes what needs to be done, his estimates are all over the place and change according to his mood or what he's looking to make. They can vary by hundreds of dollars. If he doesn't know how to do something, he rigs it. I asked him to clean out my heater box that was filled with leaves and instead he grabs a drill and drilled holes in the floor of my car to create a drain for the water that was leaking into my car. Of course after that, there was a leak in my gas tank. I cannot fill my tank now since it drips gas until it reaches a half tank. Every time he did a repair and stated if I got that done,I'd be all set, he returned my car with more problems. He is very disrespectful of women and thinks calling them "Hun" somehow makes his shady practices more believable. Each job he did, would be quoted as just a couple of hours and he would take him 2 days. A 4 hour job, took 7 days and one of his excuses was "the kid" working on my car lost the parts he took off and no one could find them for days in the garage. When my car was finally returned, of course again I was told, "if you give me cash, I can knock some off your bill." But do not use this guy. He is sloppy, lies, and has a list of excuses for all his messes that always blame everyone else for this nightmare he creates.

Sold me a 2019 Jeep Compass with an active check engine light…read more I'll start with the obvious- there was a fog light out which they "fixed" (it's still out). Also, the check engine light would come on and off starting just two days after purchasing the car. Along with the light came the loss of controls to the HVAC systems as well as the radio- so if you were cold and in the mood to turn up in your vehicle in the AM, you better have that same energy when you're driving home from work or it is going to be a MISERABLE ride. So I brought it to the dealership's attention right away being mindful of lemon law restrictions in regards to how long (60 days in my case) you are covered. Now's a good time to mention that Dennis commented at one point that the lemon law would only cover safety related issues. Well now I've got no turn signals and no control of my heat as we head into a New England winter- sounds safe. As luck would have it (for Ted's), the light wasn't actively on the morning I brought it in to get checked so I was essentially turned away and told to come back (25 min. drive) the next time it came on. The next time it came on and I was available to bring the car in I did so. Now pay attention. Dennis says he'll have to have his "Jeep guy" look at it whenever he's available stating there's a chance that won't be until 5PM. He knew damn well it was going to be at 5PM because that's what ended up "happening" after my car sat in their lot all day (Dennis admitted he ended up not coming until he got out of his actual job around the corner at 5). I then receive a call at 5:45 with GREAT NEWS- the Jeep guy came, did a "software update", and the problems solved! The problem is not solved. Nothing was fixed. No f**** were given. Bottom line- I believe they were fully aware of the car's issue when I bought it and hoped the light would stay off for just a couple months (try two days). I haven't reached out again for their help just because I don't trust a thing they say or do. If you're asking me, go somewhere else! Never again.
