Amongst all the exorbitantly expensive restaurants in Jupiter, Old Florida offers a fairly priced, well balanced menu of seafood, sammies, and sallys; indoor & outdoor seating and bars. The encrusted snapper was the bomb! Tuna poke bowl also a score, burger pretty standard. Kyle provided terrific service, polite & very sincere.

This is my go to place when I go fishing and want my fresh fish cooked up. They also have a great variety of bar themed food likes chicken wings and burgers. Indoor and outdoor seating with a bar in both areas. Good happy hour. Last night they cooked up my fish two ways , francese and blackened, both delicious. Each person gets two sides. We also shared a tuna poke' appetizer. Service was great. Highly recommend.

We stopped in for a late lunch. There was Plenty of parking in the parking lot just behind the restaurant They offer indoor or outdoor seating & had many tables Luckily they sat us immediately. The inside was clean & neat Service was friendly & pretty fast. They offer a full bar so we ordered some cocktails. Sadly my drink was weak As a former bartender my drink was served in the wrong glass & should have been served in a rocks glass. Sadly they added wayyy too much soda & filled a tall glass with too much ice. My Disaronno amaretto was totally watered down. Totally not worth $9.00 I was enjoying my company & too hungry to complain so I let the mixed drink slide. The food was good though & they give huge portions.

Stopped by after a fishing trip and was happy we did. Full patio providing outdoor seating and tons of tvs for watching sports. We ordered the clam and bacon flatbread which was delicious but truthfully didn't taste much like clam. You could have told me it was chicken and I'd have believed you. All in all though I'd order it again. We also tried the tuna poke appetizer - of everything we had this was our least favorite not because it wasn't also very delicious but for the price the portion was extremely small - two little crackers topped with fresh raw tuna salami salad and a sort of elk sauce drizzle. It was very good but I think again for the price I'd order the tuna poke entree which was only a couple dollars more and I'm sure more filling. We did end up getting two entrees as well. The old Florida bowl and the fish and chips both were winners but their fish and chips stood out - normally I find fish and chips very heavy and just overfly fried. These were the lightest fluffiest fish I had ever had and the fries reminded me of those delicious fries you'd get beachside on a hot summers day. These old Florida bowl was packed with bay scallops and shrimp in a creamy pink sauce and had just the right amount of spinach and feta cheese (I'd never think to put feta on pasta but it worked! The angel hair was well cooked and not mushy or stuck together. The crowd was definitely on the older side and the service was a little slow but they were quite busy so I won't fault them too much. I would go back for sure and try some of their sandwiches or another fish dish- I think their kitchen knows what they're doing!

Absolutely the best kept local restaurant/bar in town. Love the staff, prices & food. Love sitting outside enjoying sports on TV, great company and delicious food. Today having the flat bread of the day, Yummy

Is the outside area dog friendly?

Absolutely. We often see patrons with their dogs outside

What does their Happy Hour look like, is there a special menu? Thank you in advance!

Is the dolphin on the menu actually dolphin, like Flipper... or is that a term to describe something else, eg "dolphin fish" (mahi mahi)?

The dolphin is NOT flipper. It is dolphin fish (mahi mahi)

It's hotel food, so everything is overpriced. Quality was actually decent though. We all really loved the breakfast - all the goods like avo toast, chicken sausage and bacon, choco chip pancakes, eggs, etc. There's a kids menu for breakfast too which is nice. Lunch and dinner menus are also large and have lots of delicious seafood options too. We had the seafood pasta at dinner and it was really yummy! My grandma came for lunch and absolutely loved her burger. There are also plenty of kids menu items to choose from. Service at dinner was not great. It took hours to eat. After a while we noticed we hadn't gotten our main, and the server informed us that we needed to tell her we were done with our apps and ready for dinner in order for them to fire it off for the kitchen. Interesting system - and probably good to inform guests about this to avoid waiting for food for hours. In any case! It's really sold for a hotel restaurant and we enjoyed all of our meals here.

Service felt flat the entire time. I specifically asked for very light ice in my drink and even said I didn't care if the glass wasn't full. The drink still came out packed with ice, and I had to ask for a separate cup and spoon to fix it myself--which shouldn't happen. What really stood out was the lack of attention. We were there for about 35 minutes, and not once did she come back to check on us--no "How is everything?" and no offer for another drink. Meanwhile, she spent more time in the back talking with a coworker than actually servicing her customers. There was also confusion when we asked for the check, which just added to the overall disorganization. What's disappointing is that this place used to have a much better vibe--staff like Denise made it feel welcoming and enjoyable. That's clearly changed. The new staff just doesn't bring the same level of service or personality. The food and location still have potential, but service makes or breaks a place--and right now, it's missing. "Service isn't just part of the experience--it is the experience."

We met friends here to catch two bands--Love Medicine and Smokin' Renegade--and the timing couldn't have been better. The FIFA third-place match was on when we arrived, happy hour was in full swing, and the place had a lively, energetic vibe. We took advantage of the happy hour menu and shared the ahi tuna, boneless wings with blue cheese, and calamari. The prices were great, but the food was a mixed bag for me. The ahi tuna was fresh but much saltier than I prefer. I'm pretty sensitive to salty foods, so that may just be my palate. The wings and calamari were fine for sharing, but honestly, the live music was the real star of the afternoon. I skipped the cocktails and enjoyed a Diet Coke while everyone else sampled the drinks. Love Medicine kicked things off with a fun set, and it made it even more enjoyable because one of our friends knew many of the band members. It was amazing to hear that they have careers as a lawyer, doctor, physical therapist, and more, yet still find time to perform together. Then Smokin' Renegade took the stage and absolutely rocked the place. Their set was packed with classics from Styx, Boston, and Foreigner, and the lead singer was phenomenal. He has one of those big, powerful voices that could easily fill a much larger venue. Even though the restaurant was packed, the staff kept everything moving smoothly, and we never felt forgotten. Another plus? Plenty of parking, which is always appreciated. I'd come back again for the music in a heartbeat. If you enjoy classic rock, a high-energy crowd, and a neighborhood spot that knows how to host live entertainment, Double Roads delivers. Even the hallway to the restrooms had a lot of interesting art work and such. Take a look and you won't be sorry!
