The restaurant is a fun place if you are just looking for pizza, beer and hamburgers. I went on Sunday, 5/16/21 for a nice meal with drinks, appetizers and an entree. We placed our order and I thought our server took a "break" because it took so long to get our appetizer. When we finally received it, my son found "paper" in the egg rolls. The service saw that we only ate 1/3 of our appetizer and never asked "was anything wrong"? We both ordered the meatloaf entree. The mashed potatoes we not hot and the meatloaf/gravy was so "SALTY", my son could only eat a small amount. Again, the service saw we did not eat our meals and never questioned if there was a problem. I would never go back again !!!! read more

Hats off to the folks at Old Glory Kitchen + Spirits. Where do I begin? Needed to find a somewhat last minute place to have a fun get together for my wife's 50th. We had been to Old Glory's before and loved the layout and architecture. It's an old church and just has a really cool vibe. When I first showed up a week ago I was greeted by Jorge who after listening to me ramble on for about 2 minutes, knew exactly what I was looking for. He and owner Chris hooked us up. We had about 30 people in their basement bar last night which was perfect. Chris laid out a ton of really good appetizers for everyone to eat, and we had a full bar to ourselves for the night. Three different types of wings (and I'm getting texts today telling me how really good they were), coconut shrimp, pork sliders (compliments of OGK), 6 different pizzas that were all delicious, and more. Couldn't have asked for better service. If you're looking to host a small casual party of 25-50, with great food, this is the place. Ask for Chris or Jorge! It was...fine. Ambiance was great, the old church vibe was unique! Loved the beer list, and overall drink selection. Food was decent, nothing spectacular but definitely enjoyable. The selection was unique and different than most bars. However we waited about 20 minutes to even be talked to to be seated (note we weren't told there was a wait, there was just no one at the front to seat us for 20 minutes). The food was a little over priced as well, and the overall restaurant is a little too loud to go and be able to have a normal conversation. I really enjoyed Old Glory. The ambiance was awesome, because it balances a dynamic bar, social scene, with an intimate Americana feeling that encourages friendly social interaction. The service was outstanding, even though it was super busy and we forgot to make a reservation. Everyone seemed to really care about making sure that we were comfortable. I had a bayou burger, and it was cooked to perfection. The bread complimented it, rather than hinder it, and the blue cheese belonged with the rest of the meal. Just went here for brunch this weekend, and was extremely impressed. $17 for a meal and a choice of alcoholic drink. Honestly, a GREAT deal. Menu was large and dynamic, raging from breakfast to lunch foods as well. Also had a choice of 5 drinks to choose from. I chose the mimosa and it was perfectly made. I also chose the crab cake sandwich with fries; all perfectly cooked. We decided to stay for drinks after, being as they have an extensive beer list. Casual, comfortable, delicious. The jalapeno popper dip is amazing. One order is plenty, but your tastebuds will appreciate 3 orders of it. Our family reserved a table a week in advance. Service was poor, as we were served food in extremely spaced out intervals. The last member of our party, number 13, did not receive his simple hamburger until everyone else had finished with their dinner. We had to ask the manager when he would receive his food. Seems this place has taken a 360 from previous years..seems as it's just ran as a machine ..everything is always outstanding from the moment we are greeted to the end of our meals . I have been to Old Glory a million times and also have held parties there. We ordered dinner tonight on takeout and I have to say very disappointed. First when I ordered the food I told the girl about the 10% off your check that is advertised on their web site and she said we are not honoring that. Ithen went to pick up the food and handed the cashier my credit and she said we add 3% to the check for using credit cards, which I guess I understand, but again that is not advertised anywhere. I got the food home and the meals were missing the french fries and the overall quality of the food was not what it used to be. read more

I love old glory. The food is always good. The owner is great he's always around talking to everyone making sure everything was good. Now with the pandemic take out is easy and they bring the food right to your car. They really make an effort here and it shows. Chicken malinese and short ribs are two of my favs!!! My friends went there and my daughter has eaten here and they all loved it so now my wife went there for dinner tonight and we were very impressed with the service and the food and the overall look of the place . I always look for the yelp reviews on a new place and they had a lot of 4.5 out of 5 ratings. We had reservation for 730 and they met the time which was good considering it was packed and we had the parmesan wings for a appy which were delicious and ate all of them . Had the bison burger for dinner and that too was very good also . The staff was very attentive and kept coming around to see if we needed anything . It is truly a all American restaurant . Would I recommend to others ? YES. Want to go back and eat outdoors on the balcony upstairs when the weather gets warmer . They do have a gluten free menu which is a plus read more

This is the second time I've had a terrible experience with the service at old glory. My friends and I placed an order online and was notified that the delivery would arrive by 6:45. At 6:30, we get a call that one of the entrees is no longer available and asked to see if we wanted to substitute or get a refund. We asked for a substitution and then was told we would have to wait an additional 20 minutes. We were forced to go to pick it up and then the food wasn't even there! Consistently good. Great bar selection, really great pizzas and LOVE their fresh bread out of their brick oven. Their drunken clams get me every time. And my husband literally cannot resist their new crab mac and cheese. Desserts, if we make it that far, are always a hit. Service is great - we've never had a bad experience. We went with a few friends on New Year's Eve - I HATE NYE out. I came to Old Glory today for a late lunch with my fiancé, cousin and two aunts. We ordered a few apps and our meals. The wings were awesome and the margherita pizza was delicious! I had the crab cake sandwich; the crab cake was fresh but the fries were pretty cold and tasted like they'd be sitting out for a while. My fiancé ordered a burger which was extremely overdone, but also found a piece of wire in his burger, likely from a grill tool they used. Our server took care of it right away, which we appreciated. We weren't looking for a handout, just wanted to alert them of what we found so it didn't happen to someone else. I saw a sign for 10% veterans and emergency personnel which I liked! The food is usually pretty good but waited over 2 hours for a delivery and by the time it arrived the food was cold. The pizza dough was somehow rubbery and not good. Would have rather them told me upfront how long the wait was going to be instead of having to call and check a few times. :( read more

A couple details coulda made this a 4.5. For example don't charge $6 for a bowl of soup and half fill it. The buggers and fries were very very good. The calamari should be fresh not frozen. They did a generous "shot" of patron. I really liked the atmosphere and waiting outside with a cocktail for a table was very pleasant. The guitar singer/entertainer was also very good. I would definitely go back. Probably great place to sit at bar and watch a game. My only complaint other than half bowl of soup was you had to half guard you drinks and food or someone was swooping in to clear from table. It was a comfortable place with good food and drinks.
