Old glory is such an awesome restaurant! We have been there many times but We were there last night for our friends engagement because that's where they had their first date. Chris, the manager and the service were fantastic and extremely accommodating. We were super annoying because we needed a specific song to be playing when they walked in and they helped us with everything we needed without us feeling like we were a hassle. Fish n chips excellent, hand cut fries and nice batter on the fish. We also got the wedge salad with ribs. The salad was very good, but the rubbed ribs were not our favorite. The server was super accommodating and took it off the bill for us without us even asking. The buffalo wings are killer delish, and they let us get all flats!! Yes! Old Glory, literally, is a glory with it's atmosphere, great beer selection and tasty wings. I stopped in one day and had some of the best Red Thai Wings in the area. The staff is very attentive and makes you feel comfortable at a pretty hectic spot in a downtown area, no matter how you feel about sitting out in public alone or bringing your work party out to eat. What a great addition to the Keyport dining scene! The place itself is absolutely gorgeous: bright, open and with beautiful architectural touches and tons of Americana on display Service was prompt and attentive, even with a busy luch crowd. Our server, Kristine, was friendly, knowledgable and accommodating. She first delivered a fresh, piping hot loaf of brick oven bread, along with some olive oil and spices. Delicious! We next got the garlic/parmesan chicken wings, which consisted of 10 nice sized wings, well seasoned with a caramelized coating that you'll scrape it off the plate as we did. The Beer and Cheese soup was also very good, with bacon crumbles and Yuengling beer giving it a unique flavor. The Brick Oven Maryland crab dip was inventively served in a hollowed out, round loaf of bread. Unlike most other crab dips we've eaten elsewhere, this version came absolutely stuffed with actual crab, not filler and not that awful "crablegs/sealegs" garbage. The lumps of meat were blended well with Old Bay seasoning, cream cheese and cheddar, and was a meal in itself. The Old Glory pizza came with fresh plum tomato sauce, fresh mozz, fresh basil and chunks of garlic, along with Parmigiana-Reggiano. Aside from wishing the crust was just a bit crustier, the pizza was quite good, with fresh ingredients making all the difference. The Smokehouse Chicken sandwich featured a huge piece of chicken topped by thick bacon, cheddar and fried potato sticks. Get your choice of condiment on the side, although Old Glory takes great pride in its Texas BBQ sauce. The French Dip sandwich was loaded with quality roast beef and served on New Orleans French bread. Rich, delicious Wisconsin cheddar and a tasty au jus sauce rounded out this classic. A large selection of canned craft beers and an interesting mix of draft offerings will please the brew aficionados in the family, but any visit to Old Glory Kitchen won't be complete until you taste the hand-crafted, by the glass, sangria. Simply addictive. Owners Kenny and Barbara Lawlor--who also work the kitchen and tables, are the type of owners one loves to support. They are solicitous of their patrons, down to earth, and obviously enjoy food as much as their satisfied customers seemed to be on this day. Service was the worst! We waited 45 minutes even with a reservation while there were many open tables. It was down hill from there. We ordered quickly however another 45 minutes for our appetizers. Bread? Never came even when requested 3xs. Dinner arrived 2 and a half hours after seating. No one came to apologize, no acknowledgement or a free dessert etc. Food mediocre at best. read more

This restaurant is really cool and chill. Food was excellent and the service was super fast and the servers were kind. The only thing I'll say is that it can get a little crowded and loud, which isn't the best for someone with anxiety like myself, but other than that it's really nice. Old Glory is a refurbished church from back in the day, and the woodwork and architecture truly look amazing. The first and second levels both have a bars with alcohol, as well as tables with long benches (no chairs). Downstairs there is a lounge which I was told is mostly open on Friday and Saturday nights. I went here for lunch and had a very pleasant experience. BLT and tomato soup were both fresh and yummy! The restaurant itself is very chill and casual and the beer selection is quite large as well. If canned beers are you thing, I believe they have 70 options!? Wow! There is an outside eating area and deck which will obviously be more fun in the warmer weather. Visited last night. Came down to Keasby because of the nice weather and water location. Had several locations in mind to try. This was one but it was not our first choice for no particular reason. As fate would have it we read the Yelp reviews and then stopped by for a look and decided to stay. The building is interesting with many nooks and crannies. There are tv's throughout. We each has a sandwich and they were good and plentiful. Cold beer on tap which was cold! The menu offered regular entrees along with a bar menu, pizza and light fare. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 was they ran out of clams for our appetizer and one of our sandwiches came out as a different sandwich then what we ordered. we were in a relaxed mood and our enjoyment in finding a new place of such quality let the hiccups pass. Our server was very pleasant and our visit was very enjoyable. We look forward to more accommodating weather in order to take advantage of the myriad of outdoor seating. Will somewhat disappointing experience. The ambiance is very cool and nice, but the food and service was not good. Maybe our waitress was new but she knew nothing about the menu. Repeatedly disappointed. The food and drinks are decent but overpriced. There is a time limit on how long you can sit at a table even if you want to order more food or drinks. If you use a credit or debt card there is a 3% charge added to your bill. Extremely hot upstairs this time. Bar ran out of ice and draft beers. The poor bartender was overwhelmed with no help from management. Granted there is a heat wave but if they can't properly air condition the restaurant then they should warn guests of the conditions or upgrade their A/C system. Some restaurants actually closed for the day because they couldn't provide good service in such hot conditions. Old Glory should consider doing the same if they can't provide a good customer experience. read more

We had our son's and new daughter-in-laws rehearsal dinner here on Friday night and had an amazing time. The food was incredible and the staff made us feel like royalty. They anticipated and took care of all our needs and went above and beyond to make it a relaxing, enjoyable, and memorable time. Jackie was wonderful and flexible in helping me plan the event as I was not from the area. They allowed me to bring in a groom's cake at no charge and she helped me select a menu that fit my son's personality. Their location and venue is unique and comfortable. I was very surprised at just how good this places is. First of all the Parmesan wings just by themselves is worth a trip to this place. I've had wings at many places in many states these wings are by far and I mean by far the best I've ever had. If you're wing aficionado and you haven't tried these you have an experience good wings. Also had the soup it was a beer and cheddar was fantastic. Place is very clean and the service is warm and friendly I have to say I was very happy to have stumbled upon this place. I had a great experience hosting my daughter's bridal shower. Jaclyn, the event coordinator, was so helpful every step of the way. She is friendly, easy to work with and accommodating. She assisted with set up, and did not rush us out the door when the party ended. We were able to comfortably fit 40 guests in the upstairs room.
