Came here for a friends birthday brunch. The inside decor was pretty cool. They have an old school USA theme going on with a Union flag painted on the ceiling. Their is outdoor seating available although we sat inside. For a Sunday early afternoon the crowd seemed to be older which was fine. They had a great brunch deal which included your meal and a brunch cocktail for $16.99. I had a Bloody Mary and the steak and eggs. The Bloody Mary was good, no complaints there. The meal however was terribly bland. The steak literally had no flavor. A little seasoning or marinade would be nice. I'd even settle for some A1 sauce. Was super disappointed by my meal. Someone else had the chicken sandwich and that was also bland. It seems that the only things that weren't bland were the pizzas and the wings which are basic plates. Probably won't catch me here again because the food just isn't worth the drive. read more

This was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. Delicious food, generous servings, talented staff... Great music, fantastic ambiance... The only complaint I could possibly make is that their kitchen closes at 10pm but you know what? I can't even hold that against them. Tonight we called ahead at 9:55 and they kept the kitchen open an extra half hour so my party of 8 could have a night out. Heckin' fantastic. We ordered the Bison Burger for delivery through door dash. The description includes cheese, frizzled onions, bacon, and steak sauce...it came with lettuce, tomato and nothing else. Very disappointing that this came not as described and definitely not worth $15. We also ordered the OG Buffalo Wings. Old glory is a great little spot to enjoy pizza drinks but most importantly a good time with friends and family. I want to old glory with my wife and in-laws to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday and it was a great time. We have reserved a table a few days prior to our reservation and once we got there we simply let the hostess know what our name was and we will quickly sat down at our table and service was ready to go. The waiter was great friendly and most importantly helpful with navigating throughout the menu and different specials. The food as always as hot and delicious And came out in a timely fashion. The one thing that was a little upset about which ultimately wasn't a big deal but still, was that we told the waiter that it was my father-in-law's birthday and when they brought out the desert they did not bring him a candle nor sang him happy birthday. With the exception of that little hiccup the overall experience was great as always. I can't wait to go back soon. read more

It was pretty average overall. My friend and I ordered some drinks, pizzas, and meatballs. The meatballs were large and quite filling and the pizza was just alright. I ordered a traditional pizza even though they have tons of options because a plain pie is always my litmus when trying a new place. I would return if I was hanging out with some friends, especially because of their patio bar. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks, and staff are all so good! If you haven't tried this place yet you are missing out! The meatballs that are an appetizer could easily be a meal. You get two large size meatballs filled with cheese; it is delicious!! Their red sangria is a great combination of sweet and tart and they have great drink specials too! I highly recommend giving both items a try! The decor is something different in the area. Look up as you walk in and see a huge mural of the American Flag. With wood tables and floors the restaurant gives off a rustic feel. They also have an outside bar and sitting area which is great during the spring and summer! read more

This is a new spot in Keyport but it's quickly becoming one of our favorite places. The food is fantastic - the pizza, the entrees (we've had the Penne a la vodka, the shrimp kabobs, the chicken Milanese, the meatloaf... yes we've already been here multiple times), and omg please try the meatballs. Even the pre-dinner bread is amazing. The beer list is also excellent as is the service and the atmosphere. The building used to be an old church but the vibe is very Americana. Just a note of caution - there is semi-communal seating so just be aware of you aren't into that. We love it and it fits this place as far as we are concerned though. read more

Wow, Old Glory is fading fast. Last nights visit to this eatery was very disappointing. I brought a party of six. I waited over half an hour to get two beers to my table. After ordering food, half our orders came out and then the rest came out twenty minutes later. Frustrating! I ordered the fish and chips that were barely warm, greasy and the fries were cold! YUK! Another person in my party ordered meatloaf (why is beyond me). It was bland, dry and tasteless. A chicken parmigiana was palatable but left much to be desired. I tried to brush it off as to not ruin our night out and of course the waitress was trying her best at apologizing for the lengthy waits. The final kicker came with the bill. A 3% surcharge for my credit card use! Needless to say, I WAS DISGUSTED! It will be a long time before I return to OLD FADED GLORY, if ever. They will use the pandemic as an excuse, I am sure. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you cant deliver or put out a good product---DON'T!!!!! Two stars is generous. read more

I've been here a few times now and I'm absolutely in love. One of the most unique bar/restaurant experiences I've had on the Jersey shore. The building is gorgeous -- an old school patriotic vibe. Flags, classic "Join the US Army" posters, even an original Uncle Sam costume framed on the wall when you first enter. They have balcony seating outside and the door opens up like a garage. The food is unreal. So far I've tried the buffalo chicken pie. The server, Barb, brought us complimentary bread straight from the brick oven once we got settled in. Had to be careful not to fill up before dinner lol. I ordered buffalo chicken pizza. Incredible. It was topped with bleu cheese crumbles and celery. I would also highly recommend the meatballs. A super friendly manager came out to check on us during the meal. They have some pretty awesome happy hour deals and a huge selection of American craft beers. It was a Friday night and there was an awesome band playing up on the second floor in a little cove called Not Leaving Sober I believe. Had an incredible time and will be back regularly. read more

Showed up at 9 pm and the staff had already started cleaning the inside, this should have been the first hint to turn around and leave. Instead we took the host's advice and sat outside. We waited roughly 10 minutes for drinks, and two margaritas that the ice had melted completely before being brought out to us. When we ordered apps they didn't come out until our entrees did, that's weird. Oh and I forgot to mention we never received silverware. The manager, oh what a manager he was, came over to apologize and when we mentioned the drinks he got angry and stormed away, great customer service. Overall, we came away with a negative experience and had to deal with a staff that was too worried about cleaning and getting ready to leave even though the place doesn't close till midnight. read more

We have been going to Old Glory since it opened. We thought we had found a charm in local Keyport. The place is beautiful. Renovated church with Americana decor. The food is great! We have ordered many items on the menu and everything was good. My only problem has been the service. We were seated upstairs and although we were greeted by the very friendly manager, our server was MIA. After our appetizer we waited more than 45 minutes for our burger and salad. It was later in the evening and this was way too long a wait. She apologized but should have been on that with the kitchen. Really disappointed!!!! Where do I start, I was followed by this gem on IG and after being teased by all the posts I decided to stop in and treat myself to a seafood boil for my birthday in June. Maaaan listen! Not just tasty but a great amount for the price. After eating there a few times and trying different dishes I can safely say I don't think they can get anything wrong. If good food isnt enough to draw you in how about a live DJ/Band The entire place looks like an old church redesigned by HGTV! Beautiful would be an understatement and its filled with Americana art. I mean who doesn't love Old Glory? Whenever I have to think of a good place to bring people or celebrate a birthday this is literally the first place that comes to mind. It's always consistent and I've been there at least 15 times. Only one time did I have something that tasted off but not a disgusting off, there was too much lemon flavor so either someone went crazy with the zest or somehow lemon got in the wrong dish, either way it was an issue that got resolved quickly. Lovely place! We sat outside and enjoyed live music by John (I think) Rafferty. Service was ok, but I didn't like the French Dip I ordered. Neither the meat nor the dip had much flavor. The crab dip app was pretty amazing though! Came in a lovely bread bowl that was pretty darned good! Had a nice sangria. Oh, I forgot: I originally ordered a burger but they were out of burgers!!! Keyport is becoming the place to be if you like being in jersey and near the water. If you're looking for a jersey shore bar/restaurant you should check this out. The prices are everyday awesome. The food is really good. Even the "typical " menu selections (like wings) are unique here because almost everything is cooked in their brick oven. I don't know who the chef is or who came up with the way this is all pulled together but the result is something different/better than the same old same old. The pizza is top notch if that's all you want but try the rest of the menu. My wife and I had three apps, two mains , and a total of 5 top shelf cocktails and it was $100!!! Everything was great. Service was top notch and the atmosphere was awesome. So negatives? Well they have 6 person seating so if it's just the two of you you might have to share a table. Not my favorite but it didn't detract from the great food and drink. But for this I would give it 5 stars I didn't stay long enough but they also have entertainment at 10 This is a must try read more

Just Had lunch here with coworkers. Waited ridiculously long for our waiter to come see us to give us menus. I ended up taking Menus from behind the bar area so we could see them. Then once it became apparent no one was coming, I had to go fetch someone from the downstairs area. Ordered a Cobb salad with grilled shrimp and paid almost 20 bucks for that itself. Ridiculous! Added 7 more bucks for 4 shrimp. Extremely dissatisfied with the service and pricing. This is Keyport for crying out loud. Waiter didn't even offer us a discount for the shitty service. Massive portion sizes do not mean much if the food is not good. Had the wings, my friend had a pizza, and I got a buffalo burger. Prices were fair I guess, portions were gigantic-- a ton of food. But it lacked flavor and pizazz. My burger was unseasoned, the fries and cole slaw on the side were bland and disgusting. My friend's pizza just looked unappetizing and he did not care for the taste either. The wings were too tangy for their own good. The atmosphere is great (a rustic, renovated old church and some good live music) and they have a nice beer selection, but we spent a lot of money that night on some very subpar food. I don't think I would go back. Service was nonexistent. The place was not busy yet we would not see him for 20 minutes at a time. When we needed something, nowhere to be found. Yet if a drink was empty, he was magically right there. Funny how that happens. read more

I re-downloaded the Yelp just to say how bad this place is. My GF and I went there on a whim yesterday for a late lunch. I don't think it was too long ago that this was a nice, sit-down high end restaurant. It couldn't be much further from that. The current decor can only be described as sport bar meets MAGA rally. It took them 40 minutes to prepare our food. The waiter came by once to say he'd check on it, but didn't go out of his way. The food itself was terrible. The cod filet was frozen for sure. Tough and tasteless. The medium rare bison burger was god awful. Beyond well done. I mean if you're going ask how someone wants their burger done (medium rare) and go to the effort of putting one of this little spears in it that says it's "medium rare," it shouldn't come out looking and tasting like a hockey puck. Why isn't there a "zero stars" rating? This place makes Applebee's look like a fine dining experience. Fire the chef. Fire the manager. Maybe call an exorcist. read more

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch and all I can say is WOW. We were heading to a winery and saw this was on its way. I'm gluten free due to sensitivities.. and let me tell you their oven roasted wings are unbelievable!! I also had gluten free pizza another WIN. Beautiful restaurant. Did a magnificent job reconstructing. Food was horrible. French Dip was made out of dried meat which was probably brisket instead of roast beef. The bread is dry and puffy. You need to cross the bridge and bring over some Staten Island bread. Fries are large and oil soaked. Honestly I barely ate my food and felt ill afterwards. read more
