Fabulous diner. First I loved the option of all day breakfast. So many breakfast choices too. My mate had delicious salty Country ham and eggs, with hash browns. My luncheon option was a Swiss patty melt on homemade bread. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time with delicious grilled onions. Somehow they made simple green beans seem like so much more. The chocolate pie was amazing. This would be in my regular rotation if I lived closer. It's a bonus that this is a family business, who work really well together. Hope they are there for many generations. read more

A hidden gem! Family owned with some of the nicest staff you'll meet. They greet you as soon as you walk in the door and make you feel welcome the whole time you're there! I've lived here for 4 years and had never been. Friends were in town from CA for Thanksgiving so we stopped in for breakfast on Black Friday morning. Everything was delicious! I had the loaded hash browns with the homemade bread (grilled.) My friends got the loaded hash browns too and the Pancake with scrambled eggs. The pancakes are huge! This place made me feel happy. The food was very good, even the chocolate silk pie for dessert. I had the patty melt and my fiance had an egg breakfast, which he also enjoyed. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. My only disappointment was in finding out that the prices have increased quite a bit. Evidently, their updated menu has not yet been posted by Yelp. $4.99 vs $7.99 was the difference, although this plate had home fries. We highly recommend this restaurant. Stopped for a late lunch here on a cross-country trip from Tucson to Maine. Had an absolutely killer burger and handcut fries... Owner told us he only uses 85/15 Angus beef, hand-molded fresh, and never frozen... And the extra care and love showed. Friendly, clean, and delicious. Blow off the same-old fast food joints on this street and support the local guys! read more

You feel at home and in good company when you walk in the door. This is a perfect example of what an American diner should be. They were busy when we arrived for breakfast, but we were immediately greeted, menus dispensed and drinks brought out right after ordering them. My "Breakfast Scramble" included potatoes, onions, bell pepper and tomatoes (hold the mushrooms), and the holy trinity of breakfast meats. Stopped in this diner for breakfast and I'm glad I did! Service was great! The restaurant was super clean!! We were greeted immediately and our drink order was taken. Shortly after our food order was taken. We ordered eggs, bacon and pancakes. Our food was placed in front of us within about 15 mins. Our drinks were filled often. Stopped in on our way back home from traveling and it was fantastic! The waitress was nice and the menu was great. However the owner and his wife were very rude to me. I came in with a broken foot that the doctor has ordered me to prop up. I had my broken foot in a surgical shoe propped in an extra chair. She came up and tried to take the chair out from under my broken foot and said that they needed to use it. Clearly they had plenty of extra chairs and she didn't want me to prop my broken foot into the chair. I suggested perhaps she could offer me a paper or towel to put under my foot instead because the doctor has ordered me to keep it propped up. She was very rude and said that I can't do that when I am at a restaurant. And then her husband came over and was also rude and I left before I finished eating because I lost my appetite. read more

If you are ever in Bristol, TN - you should stop by this little diner for breakfast. Great food and the most friendly people you will ever meet! I am not sure which is better, the loaded hash browns or the pancakes (I took bites of my kids pancakes and they were delicious). But I still can't get over how nice everyone was. The waiter who treated us like family as he did the regulars that came in. The cook who came out to chat with my kids. The hostess who apologized that we had to wait five minutes for a table for 6. Although the food was good, and they make a great cup of coffee, it is seriously overpriced.
