Hard to leave this review, as there is a good overall vibe about this place. The coffee and sandwiches were good, but we ordered an iced chai latte that was horrible. We sent it back, which they cheerfully remade, but it was still awful. I think that the milk was bad. We had them dump it and left. Two strikes are enough. Not going back for a third. read more

Fragrant, Strong, Delicious Coffee! I ordered a specialty strawberry shortcake latte and a vanilla latte. Both were so delicious! The strawberry shortcake latte was a very distinctive flavor, I was shocked how they made it taste so real. They also sell pastries and artsy items here. read more

I have purchased an iced latte from here a number of times. No sugar just espresso and milk. The coffee comes from a local company that apparently many people find to be upper echelons but the hype needs to match the cost. Every cup I have had was not bitter in the least bit also lacked in flavor. That being said it is a cute average New England trinket and tchotchke store with a good cup of coffee and nice enough service. They are pretty much the only local coffee shop with Sunday hours but my 20 0z latte costs over 7$ by itself. It is called the old mill house because it is the original building that was built back in 1860 and is still standing! If you have the funds to afford this and need espresso in the Chelmsford area on a Sunday then this should be your haunt. read more

This place is the cutest! Was able to find parking on the street on a Tuesday morning and the coffee was delicious. Excellent service and there's tons of local, creative goodies for sale. Met for a business meeting in a small room off of the front entrance. Have always wanted to stop in and am glad I did; I'll be back! read more

Great little spot, friendly workers, nice options for snacks to go with your coffee, some nice outdoor seating when the weather's nice and indoor seating when it's not, and plenty other stuff to look at inside (see the posted pics) if you're into knick-knacks, crafts and cute decorations, etc. Our visit overall was a pleasant pit stop for breaking up an otherwise long and boring drive. Stop by, get a cup. The pricing is very reasonable, our lattes came out well balanced, smooth and not too sweet, and the cookies we got to go with were tasty as well. Hopefully you'll have the same experience. While I didn't detract for this, I do have to admit the parking lot/roadway layout around it is confusing and makes it a bit difficult to both find it and park. Don't let that deter you - I simply mention this in hopes that it'll reduce your frustration a bit if that sort of thing bothers you like it often does me! read more

Amazing lattes and coffee. They serve Three Fins Coffee (from Cape Cod). The barista was so sweet and great at making the perfect iced vanilla latte. The prices are about the going rate and very much worth it for a quality coffee. They have a small gift shop inside as well. This will for sure be my new spot for a morning latte. read more

Food: Limited food options, not reliable for cafe food, coffee flavors are limited, the flavors that they do have are interesting but very bland and not very flavorful, the brew sometimes tastes burnt and I thought the that three fins coffee beans from down the cape would be nice but as a coffee enthusiast I will say it's just as bad as a Dunkins coffee. You may think Dunkins is nice because it's an easy, New England option but when someone who tastes real, and good coffee they will realize how awful dunks actually is and comparing the two is an insult to Millhouse! The prices are outrageous for their limited options and their disgusting coffee! You can get a way better coffee at Kj's Cafe down the street for similar, if not, lower pricing! They have so many options and actual good cafe food! Service: Some of the younger girls there are very nice. I've had pleasant experiences with Kate and Liv but I was very sad to hear that Liv left due to "unfortunate circumstances". Now that Liv is gone, the only good person left is Kate and she's not even around much anymore! Liv was my absolute favorite she always greeted me with respect and kindness and knew my order by heart. Millhouse used to be better, now with their coffee getting worse and their lack of effort I feel like they're going downhill very fast! The only good thing left at Millhouse is Kate! Ambiance: I will say Millhouse is very aesthetically please they have a lot of nice things to buy in store, really cute, small business made knickknacks and accessories. I love that aspect of Millhouse but that doesn't make their coffee or food any better. The only reason I give Millhouse even one star is because of the ambiance of Millhouse! $5.75 for a small flavored decaf coffee, that ironically had literally no flavor and tasted like water? Too bad because it's adorable from the outside, but no thanks. Maybe some of their other options are where they excel, but my experience is highway robbery for bad coffee hiding behind a super cute aesthetic. read more
