Came in last weekend. My friend needed to get some socks and found some. The store was pretty clean and organized. The sale people were pretty friendly too. i don't usually get anything at Old Navy but if I do its usual something basic or I go shopping there for cheap presents. read more

I dont like having to pay to park and walk so far to even get to it but its the only location nearby that has maternity wear (news flash-preggos dont want to walk far!!!)...plus the musiic is AWFUL. First of all, I want to say that I am not from USA. I am from Taiwan. Since you guys don't have any international location for me to choose. So I just have to "blend in". And this is my first review ever in this site. For me, in my 20s, been studied in US for 3.5 years and I like Old Navy a lots! Why? Because it's much cheaper than A&F or J. Crew or Banana Republic. And also because no matter T-shirts or shirts are all made of cotton. (I really don't mind Made in China or in Srilanka...) After I graduate, I came back to work in Taipei and have to travel overseas. And this time I went to the bay area to participate in a conference, and my hamily tag along with me. It was no doubt that we went to Old Navy again! And this time we went to shop for our 2 yr old toddler~And since my husband is 6feet tall, it's always our choice to shop for US brand, cauze we could not find XXL size in Taiwan! read more

they dont honor thier return exchanges with valid reciept at the emryville location. and mercury uv lighting in there sucks. good prices on jackets and other stuff. probably sweat shop labor in another country though. read more

The only reason they get any stars at all is because I generally like a good portion of the merchandise itself. They are my favorite jeans, although I usually buy them online because the store is unorganized and always lacking half the sizes of every piece of clothing. But today's happenings definitely ensured that I will be doing ALL my shopping online and NEVER in this store. I was trying on pants in the dressing room when, about 30 seconds after being lead into the room by the store clerk, the same girl pounded on my door. I answered that I was in the room, and she moved on without a word. One minute later, she pounded again. I answered again, and I remember thinking "well, I guess annoying knocking every 60 seconds is better than the alternative." And one minute after that, the same girl opened my door to let a customer in. And I was pantless. I closed the door as soon as I could, but I was so shocked I couldn't even speak. I got dressed as quickly as I could, and as I left, the girl just stared at me, not even a glimmer of apology. I was really embarrased and left without speaking to the manager. If I had more balls, I would have yelled at the girl and made a complaint. When I got home I wrote to their customer service department, but I doubt anyting will be done. I can only hope that Yelpers read this and steer clear of the shop as well. On the plus side, the website is really easy to navigate and have a better selection that the store ever does. read more

Be careful they do not ID thief's that asked to look up a card give the social and they allow them to spend hardworking customers money. They should ask for ID when looking up account information but they don't so they allow thief's to run up my credit card and add themselves to my card. read more

I had a great experience today. The store was super crowded but the two young women working the fitting rooms were so helpful in assisting me in finding the right size jeans and then ordering on-line for no cost when they couldn't find my size. Both were so professional. So much neater and better stocked and staffed than Bayfair. read more

Old Navy and your sales are so hard to beat anywhere! Wow- came in just to look and short sale- capris, khaki's, swimwear, tanks $5!!! Wow spent $5 on great pair of shorts and another $15 for pants, and would have bought another shorts except my size was all sold out....But I gotta rave on customer service here. It is darn excellent! Superb, actually! The lady at the fitting rooms told me I could ask the cashier to check other stores for the shorts. So, that is what I did, and the lady at the cashier though she was on hold for a long time at the SF store, put my order on hold! THANKS A BUNCH!!!! So, yeah- now I know the secret to one of my favorite stores- if iwhat you want runs out! have the cashier call the other stores!!!!! WOOHOO!!! That made my day! Gonna go pick up my shorts, and drag my hubby to pick some cool inside out shorts! Damn those look cool! Whoever came up with those ideas is awesome..... read more

The sizes are really large--this is truly bad mainstream American fashion at its finest, made for the elastic waistline crowd. It's what the "after" girls look like after they go through a makeover session on the oprah winfrey show. Still, they do right on some things--it's a nice place to get flip flops and kitschy bags. read more

I just had to come and write a review about the customer service I received from all the sweet girls that works at this location.This location has the best staff from any of the bay area Old Navy's I've shopped at, and I shop at Old Navy allot today was my first visit at this location.I wish I could remember all the girls names but unfortunately i don't except for one and her name is Lalah, they both were really sweet and helpful very friendly, I was shopping alone wish they kept bringing me different outfits and was giving me suggestions,I asked for long sweaters and these girls brought me the most cutest sweaters I was honestly on a tight budget but I ended up buying all f them they showed me lol..I'm assuming they must have a great Manager because i got the best customer service, every worker I passed by greeted me very kindly and asked if i needed anything and told me about all the great sales for the day.Thank you ladies and wish i knew the other girls name working at the fitting room for giving me the best friendly customer service.hopefully you both of these girls are recognized for being such wonderful employees.I will call your store manager to also comment on my experience. read more

This is my first time writing a review. Most people write reviews regarding best or worst places to eat, stay or whatever, I'm writing a review about store employees. Don't get me wrong, I find the quality of Old Navy's merchandise and the price of their merchandise wonderful. But what I don't like is the fact that this particular store(Emeryville, California) DOES NOT keep their best employees. They (corporate) are so worried about keeping money to themselves that they terminate employees who actually bring money to their store. A young lady was hired and was one of their best employees who actually had over 40 people sign up for Old Navy cards within a 3 month period (the most of ANY new employee) but right before her 90 days was up, they let her go, not because of her work, not because of her attendance. They let her go simply because they only want part-time employees so they will not have to pay benefits. I am telling anyone that if you want to have a full-time position at Old Navy in Emeryville, California, RUN - DON'T APPLY UNLESS YOU ONLY WANT TO WORK FOR 3 MONTHS. This is a disgrace especially when it is a young person - a teenager trying to work and go to college. This young lady was a hard worker, very - very pleasant and always available to help whereas others just ignored you. I am appalled by this action and I plan on telling everyone NOT to patronize this particular store. We should be trying to help our young people not discourage them. read more
