I am writing to file a complaint about my recent experience at your pharmacy. The pharmacy technician Muslin lady no name tag was rude and unprofessional, not only toward me but also toward several elderly customers who clearly needed assistance. I was told my medications were ready when they were not, then directed me to a different pharmacy for an item that was actually available over the counter. I had to find it myself. I expect pharmacy staff to provide accurate information, communicate clearly, and treat all customers with respect. I hope this issue is addressed to prevent similar experiences for others read more

Quality/Quantity - One of the better run Targets. Has all the departments, including a CVS Pharmacy. They also have two stories with an escalator for customers' carts; cool. Elevators are also available. Also has a Starbucks. Decent size grocery department, but Target is not really known for groceries. Atmosphere - See above, and all of my pictures. Huge parking lot. Service - Good. Currently 20% off for college students, see picture. Long weekend sale - 20% off, see picture. Really like the many placements of scanners so we can check our own prices. So many things can get put out of place. Price - Above average, but that is the cost for quality. Great selection. Ironically, this Target is too big. It's hard to find things because the signage isn't great. We were looking for cookware and did a lap around the second floor and didn't find any signs or maps. There isn't much of a staff to help you. When we finally found the cookware in the corner there was a very helpful person. He even searched other stores for the out-of-stock item. Downstairs they have a below average supermarket. Lots of liquor but barely any white wine, which is what we were looking for. read more

After lunch, my friend and I stopped in this Target. I must admit this Target has me in awe. It is spacious. I have never been in a Target with two levels. Okay, I'm "hella jeally" because it makes the Target in Alameda look small and crowded. Then I was trying not to do any impulsive buying, but the theater sized boxes of popcorn at $1.50 a box convinced me to purchase two boxes - one for me and the other for my brother. The other item I purchased was the Atkins Endulge peanut butter cup. I swear the peanut butter cups are addicting, 0 gram of sugar and 80 calories for one, 20 of them in a box. The cashiers at the check out stands moved quickly compared to the long lines of customers at my local Target. I wish this Target was closer to my home. I don't know when and if at all I will visit this Target again. read more

The customer service is terrible. They have all the sock and tank tops locked up, I pressed the button for assistance nobody showed up, I pressed it again, and nothing. I went to look for a worker and nobody was around. I didn't even end up buying anything, if you guys are going to have product's locked up at least have workers ready to assist. read more

I think this is a very nice target, it is like other targets, but honestly it is a bit cleaner, better organized, and the parking lot is very large. From what I can tell the employees are friendly and helpful, checkout is always fast. like all stores of this variety there will be some items that are a better value and some that are worse depending on when you go, however the selection here is quite good and has more items in stock than other targets I have been too. read more

Just left Albany target. When I walked in, staff looked and didn't welcome. Grabbed some clothes, went to the dressing room and I was immediately told I can't take my basket inside of the dressing room. I explained to that person that I know better than to do that and why would I? She responded that other customers have tried. And I told her that has nothing to do with me. If that is all true, maybe place a sign for all to see so someone like myself of color isn't made to be singled out. I also did not attempt to bring basket in the dressing room so I'm not sure why that was stated to me. I honestly don't feel comfortable with shopping at the majority of the targets anymore. It's not a good feeling to spend hundreds of dollars at a place you're being looked at as a shoplifter. It's uncomfortable, disturbing and upsetting. When did Target get to be such a painful store to shop at? The Target located in Albany, CA stands out for their half-asleep employees standing around just scrolling on their phones or talking amongst themselves in private conversations and bad customer service. Most of the store's merchandise is locked behind glass cases- but- most of the employee Help Buttons are missing or disabled. I wanted to buy something that was locked away this evening - and it took 25 MINUTES for a half- asleep employee ( Luis) to finally come out and unlock the case. Three different staff members were unable to help me or unlock the case - and each made repeated calls on their store phones to ask Luis to come out of his hiding place. Five other customers also needed help in the electronics department ( or walked away in frustration). 25 MINUTES............. The Target in Albany, CA- is so mismanaged.............I'm surprised at Target's low service standards. read more

It's Thursday, February 11, 2021 7:21 PM. I just left Target and had the best experience. I hate how you can't tip there. People in the food industry can accept tips, so why can't Target workers? I tried giving Jovonté a tip but he refused saying he can't accept it but appreciates it. He was super helpful at self check out when I tried to cancel some of my items. He assisted me with a smile and positive attitude. I only wish I could have his positive mentality, but I admit it rubbed off on me as I left in a better mood than I was in prior to entering Target. Since I couldn't give a tip, I told Jovonte I'd write a positive review of my experience and name drop him. I hope a manager of his sees this because he deserves high praise. This is my favorite Target. It is two stories, has plenty of easy parking, is right off of the freeway, and has Target WiFi inside which helps you can use the Target circle app to take advantage of all the offers/coupons! Lately they have longer lines than normal with only a few registers open but there is always good ol' self checkout which will have you in and out quick! This location also offers drive up service and inside pick up which are both awesome and super convenient. Note, there is a Starbucks inside as well as a little food counter which sells pizza and other snacks in case you're hungry! read more

Came in on March 14th at 11:00pm. The parking lot was pretty empty and there were hardly any customers shopping. The 2020 covid-19 stockpiling is real y'all. A lot of the shelves that were empty were the water bottles, canned goods, frozen meats, cold medicine, etc. The self checkout line was closed. Typical Target but this one is a little "tucked" away. It looks kind of cool from the outside. I think it's more typical of a CA-style Target. The inside is laid out like most stores. It's got a Starbucks inside (Though I don't usually like inside-store Starbucks). It's nice to shop Target stores they usually have everything you need. read more

My home Target when I lived in Albany (2016-2019). I frequented the Target in Emeryville when I lived in Berkeley (2015-2016) and switched to this Target when I moved to Albany as it was 0.6 miles from the place I was living. Yes, there are walking paths along Eastshore Highway that makes it possible to walk to this location, they just take you under the freeway and are a bit loopy/winding. For the most part I drove here, even with a huge parking lot parking was tight on busy days and times. The store is well laid out and easy to find ones way with the signage in the store. I came here for every day items throughout the approximately three years I lived in Albany. This was a great place to buy sugary/processed foods that I ate on a regular basis at a lower price compared to the nearby grocery stores. It was also great for if I wanted to pick up some cleaning supplies or a bra (yes bra as in women's lingerie) along with some groceries. Bins. They have a great selection of bins that made my move back to Washington State far more seamless than it would have been without the bins I found here. They were heavy duty blue bins with built in hand slots which made carrying them once they were filled much easier. This is particularly helpful when living in an upper story of a building without a ramp or elevator so one has to maneuver the filled bins down stairs without dropping anything. This Target was full of little surprises like the bins that were well made and served a functionality with a very particular purpose. Enjoyed shopping here on a near daily basis at times when I lived in the area. read more

Target is where i go for personal essentials, small electronics, some snacks, etc. the lines are shorter, the aisles aren't so crammed, the staff is friendlier, more accessible. there's also more parking. almost everywhere i go. the departments are visually labeled. i can usually see where things are just by looking at the stacks. i can thus get in and out quickly. i know what i want. not browsing. buys: ipad 8 folio case (29.95) -like a big jacket folded around my ipad 8 to protect it's screen -never thought i would drop my ipad but the glass is slippery and i wasn't paying attention. *cost of ipad repair and the folio came from stimulus $. so i'm using my $ to stimulate the economy, not to buy a yacht, an helicoptor, or an island.... read more

Ugh! I have a love hate relationship with Target...I love it but my wallet hates it. Target gets me every time with the dollar+ section. Do u really need to buy this rope basket? No...but it's only $5...ok ok must have it! This is pretty much my normal when in Target. Before COVID I would stop in, grab a drink from Starbucks and spend 2 hours walking around. Now it's a little different but I still enjoy my target time. This store has two levels and I can easily spend more than two hours just wandering through each aisle of the store. I came in this morning to grab two items and as I headed to self check out, an employee got in front of me and tried to direct me to the cashier. I pushed back and asked if I could just use the self checkout and she let me through. I literally only had two things in my hand, I can just ring myself up. This isn't the first time they've done this to me at this location. I've started to hate coming here because it's very obvious they don't want people using the self checkout machines. Ever since they've started implementing the 10 item rule, they just direct people to the cashiers even if they have less than 10 items. It's extremely uncomfortable. Bought a $50 gift card as a birthday present for one of my son's friend's birthday. When he tried to spend it on a gift, the funds had already been used. The mom called Visa and got nothing. I reported it to customer service at the store and they gave zero Fs. They just said, "Yeah, that's been happening," and gave off the vibe they didn't want me there anymore. Overall this is a bright, welcoming, well stocked Target that features friendly staff and smooth self service checkout. It is also a large Target spanning two levels. The frequent sales, on top of the already great prices, make this a great store to replenish whatever supplies you may need. The only reason I don't give it five stars is that they play the most awful music over the PA system. It's that mindless, droning, mumbling, whimpering, honking zombie music that seems to be in high demand today. Would it hurt to play some golden oldies every now and again from that bygone era when real voices were valued? Aside from that, it's a great store. read more

I have shopped at Target for many, many yeas. And, I have seen the customer service in a continual decline. Today I was subject to one employee, in the area of the fitting rooms, be so into her iced coffee drink and her conversation with her friend that she could not be bothered with her actual job. Another employee who literally ran away from a customer that was trying to get their attention to answer a question. Once in line I was lucky enough to hear the personal business of more than one employee as they were checking customers out. I know that Target is not Nordstrom, however I don't think that it is too much to expect a level of propriety that is observed by all of your employees. And, telling a customer that an item is available online should never be expressed as a solution to not finding the item on the shelf. Afterall, the customer has visited your store for a reason. It is a reasonable expectation that items advertised are at the store. Target, you have a lot of major customer service issues that need to be addressed. Your customers are watching and waiting to see what you do. read more

My favorite target in the area. Store traffic is always lower compared to the Emeryville location and isles are usually pretty organized and stocked. Staff is helpful and no long lines! It's easy to be in and out, then again, it's target so it's easy to lose track of time too. Plenty of parks available. COVID - hand sanitizer and make available at the entrance if you forget yours. Hand sanitizer is also available at checkout. All carts are cleaned before use. read more

During the COVID pandemic, Target's actions make me feel better about coming here for groceries/household items! If you haven't been here before, this Target has a rather large parking lot and two stories. They have a great variety of refrigerated and room temperature alcohol. If you've been sorely disappointed by the other Targets in Berkeley, you'll be happy to know this one is normal sized and (usually) carries all the essentials. There's also a Starbucks inside! During the pandemic, they are limiting the number of people inside at one time so it's never crowded. Customers must line up six feet apart outside and are let in slowly as people leave. The cashiers have a plastic/plexiglass barrier between themselves and the customer, with a small opening for payment. The only frustrating part is coming across fellow shoppers with STILL no respect for personal space. Even without a pandemic, my personal bubble is important to me. You can't help the hoarders, but you can always check online to see if what you're looking for is in stock. I recommend this Target due to their cleanliness, friendliness, wide variety of items, and COVID protocol! read more

They are defectiveI just want a new pair. So he is checking the serial number but was looking at the wrong serial number. Then says they match. This location seems to be hard to get to. There are two ways to get here (Buchanan or Gilman). I prefer using Buchanan since the intersection are not CRAZY like Gilman. This Target has a two floors. Knowing what department you want to go to you have to figure it out. Luckily Starbucks is in first floor. I like coming to this location compare to going to Richmond. I find this location safer to go into. I believe I bought some work out clothes from here (my friend chose my clothes). I don't have any bad experience at this Target. read more

What an odd place to have a Target store. The stores located up and around a slight hill next to a Toyota dealership. While it's not hidden, it's also not easy to get into. This two-story delightful store is located in Albany, which is literally next-door to Berkeley, and is much better than the smaller versions found in Berkeley itself. This is in fact one of my favorite stores of targets to shop at. It's two stories of everything! The store is incredibly clean, and Customer Service is much better here than in some of the other stores I've been to. I will say the store needs to have more of a salesforce/target team members on the floor just due to the sheer size of the store. The design of the store is interesting, because of the way things are spread out you can wander from shopping for collegiate paraphernalia, to women's fashion, to their grocery section. If you're looking for kitchen related items, those are upstairs. I'm sure there is a method to their madness because it definitely made me explore the entire store. They offer both elevators and escalators to their upper level, and encourage customers to only use the elevator with their shopping carts. The store seems to offer more than most, and definitely a little bit of everything. Shoppers tip -if you do not have the Target app on your phone, you may wish to upload it if you shop target with any regular consistency. I happen to look at the Target app for an item that I've already placed in my shopping cart it was actually the reason that I had gone to target in the first place. The price online was much lower than the price in the store. This was rather confusing because usually it's the other way around. The way the new app works is you literally can use your phone to scan the tag of that item while you're shopping, and save it to the app. That way when you get to the register and you give them your barcode from your phone the discounts will all automatically apply. I did not know that at the time and simply showed the price discrepancy to the cashier. She was more than happy to make the price adjustment. I went to the store, and none of those items were in stock. the aisle was almost empty and I left without anything.
