I've been coming to this location for almost a decade and I love that this location is always dependable. It's kept clean, I don't usually see much trash around aside from a bad customer leaving their coffee on a shelf. I feel like their quality has gone down ever so slightly over the years but it still lasts us quite a while so I can't complain too much. They have a decently large selection and they keep a good range of sizes, i can usually always find the size I'm looking for here. Highly recommend this location if you're in the area. read more

Been coming here for years they always seem to have great deals on daily outerwear pajamas socks and jackets etc. not sure how they happened to survive each decade considering how Amazon has taken over the retail market. They do however happen to know what customers want every season they stockpile their store with the same old fashion jeans scarves shoes beanies etc. I do however like the neatness and cleanliness of the store. The associates are always friendly and eager to help regardless how busy they are. The dressing room/fitting room tend to get pretty messy and busy specially during the holiday season however the people that work there again or very patient and work with toddlers as well as elderly. i'll probably be back here again as my wife tends to buy gifts for family members here and it helps that it doesn't break the bank . read more

I picked up some Summer cloth at this Old Navy. They were having a 30% sale and I had some saving certificates that I earned through using their Old Navy Visa card. However, I did learn that you can only use three certificates at a time. I had five, so I had to save tow for another time. Anyways, I picked three great, I guess I would call them South Pacific printed short sleeve shirts or Hawaiian. I was very pleased that they carried my size of XXL, not that I am over weight, but rather I am a large person and enjoy a comfortable loose fit. I also picked up a nice pair of comfortable shorts to add to my collection. The store was pretty well organized and properly staffed when I came in. I was please that they had all the registers open when I came in: a habit I hope they continue to do. The young lady at the register was nice and apologetic regarding the limit of earned certificates they allow to use. When it comes to cloth, I think I am set for the Summer. read more

Needing to return an online purchase and go to the mall, I found myself at this location. Once I walked in, I remembered why I stopped going to this store. The store is always busy and no matter how many registers they have open, there are at least 20 people in line. I didn't have the patience to look around (I saved that for the Vista location!) so I stood in line, and waited, and waited, and waited...but I have to say, the cashier was quick with my return. It was a simple transaction though. Besides the business of the store, there's absolutely no service once you're in. I'm with Verizon so I'm not sure if it's a carrier thing (I don't think it is as I get perfect reception everywhere else in the mall). I was actually surprised to find an Old Navy in the mall. We came on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy. I perused the ladies section on the right side and found some really good deals on end of the season summer dresses. I had about 6 dresses to try on and went to the fitting rooms. The rooms are located in the middle of the store. I like how the fitting rooms are set up. There are 3 hooks inside where 2 hooks are designated as LIKE IT, and 1 hook was designated as a DON'T LIKE IT. You can leave your items on the don't like it if you don't see anyone at the fitting rooms to help take your items. My dresses were all under $20 and they were pretty good quality. I'm a big fan of this Old Navy! It's not a crazy huge store, it's always clean, and the employees are so nice and helpful. The holiday rush didn't stop me from checking out the baby selection. There's not much in my daughters sizes (take note Old Navy: stock up in the baby section.) although in toddler, kids, adults - lots to choose from. The store is newer and very well kept. There were 3 employees working the register so the line went fast. They have amazing deals year round and now, especially with the holiday season. I've been to this location a handful of times and each time I visit, the experience just doesn't get any better. You walk in and no one ever greets you. You walk around and again, no one says anything to you. You look around for help and they are all at the registers. So time and time again, I generally walk out. This time however, I needed to purchase some shorts. I made my way to the sale section and found some. I walked around for a little bit just to look at the new stuff and then I was ready to purchase. I stood in line for at least 15 minutes. There was one guy ringing up the customers in line. There was another sales associate trying to close a register. Then there was the manager or who I assume was the manager because the sales associate that was closing the drawer needed her help and she was answering all his questions. During that whole time that they were talking or discussing what was wrong with the register did they ever look up to acknowledge their customers in line? Nope. There wasn't a "Thank you for waiting in line, we will help you shortly" or a "We will be right with you". There was no acknowledgement whatsoever. The line was getting longer and they still had one cashier ringing people up. Way to go! I don't think I'll ever shop at this location again. I'll just stick to the Mira Mesa location. Plus, they don't have the variety that the Mira Mesa store has. read more

I don't typically shop at malls, but had gotten a Batman shirt as a gift. It was too big and I wanted to do an even exchange. Even without a receipt, they let me do it, with no problem. There was only one cashier and a long line, so they probably could use an extra hand up front to minimize wait times for customers. Nothing wrong with the selection, there's an adequate amount of clothes. But honestly for men's, it's a lot less then woman's and children. But the reason why I gave this place 1 Star was because the purchasing of our items was horrible. It was a weekend, and it's obvious there was a lot of customers in the store shopping. I was shopping at Old Navy for many years, this time Old Navy screwed me up big time. This morning at 6:20am I received 2 separates email by saying that I got $20 cash to spend. I was excited. Day before I used a paper coupon $20 off if you spend $50 or more. So when I received another one this morning June 3rd 2018 I was so excited to see 2 emails with that great offer. Photo of that emailed attached. I decided to drive to Old Navy, located about 15min from my place, spent plenty of time to choose what I like and at check out station I was told by cashier that this coupon is no longer valid. I said this is cant be, I just received this offer this morning and showed her email I received on my phone. Then cashier called manager and when manager looked she told me that I used this coupon already yesterday and looks like this email I got by mistake. But I received 2 separate emails. I expected for Store manager to act like real store manager and try to fix issue, but of course nothing happened. All time I spent there was wasting for nothing. What a fraud. Why send emails with offers and then do not accept them? And this is from huge store like Old Navy. Manager even didnt offer me any discount but instead she started talking to someone else. This is not her fault that I received 2 emails today with that offer, but this manager is a representative of the store I was shopping at. This is my first review of a retailer. I've always been quite satisfied with my purchases from Old Navy. I have multiple pairs of jeans, a plethora of tops and sweaters, and I've ALWAYS purchased my sons jeans there. Every year I buy my son, who is now 14 years old, at least four to five pairs of jeans for Christmas. This year was no different. Last Friday he came home from school and told me his jeans tore. Mind you he's only worn them twice, max! When I got home from work, I was surprised to see they tore from the top, inner corner pocket, straight down the back of his leg. I went back to the store to see if I can exchange them, but to my surprise, the girl at the counter said I couldn't because they've been worn, that it's their policy. I wasn't looking to get a refund, I just wanted to exchange them. I asked for a manager to voice my dissatisfaction, she said she was the acting supervisor and told me to call their 800 number. I've always thought Old Navy was a reputable company since their parent company is the Gap, where I do a lot of my shopping as well. And oh yes, I shop at Banana Republic too! Since I was treated the way I was, I will take my business to another retailer who stands behind their product. I will also tell all my friends who've said I have cute clothes purchased from Old Navy, the Gap, and Banana Republic not to shop there any longer. I have shopped at Old Navy for many years on and off and generally have been pleased with the customer service, prices, and selection. However this review is based on only my recent visits to this particular location. They consistently have an extremely minimal selection of sizes and my experience trying to order the correct size through them online was very disappointing. In particular their store manager, Ulises, was ridiculously unhelpful while one of his employees was having issues with their computer system trying to assist me. The representative was a young employee who needed the guidance of his manager and in my opinion he highly failed. When I asked the store manager to provide options for how he can fix the situation since their system was not working, he provided no response nor even an apology. A store manager should have both their employee and their customer's best interest in mind- but it was clear on this day he did not. Would not recommend this location for shopping. read more
