Somebody needs to explain the term "customer service" at the Broadway & 33rd store location. Employees playing on the phone while customers stand in line waiting to place or pick up order. Over chatty young female named Rosie at register who cant remember your order after repeating numerous times. Counter tops and tables are not clean. Management seems to have a blind eye or just doesn't care about customer service or repeat customers. Nothing like dead plants located outside the front door says " Welcome". Bottom line they don't care about customer service or appearance. So much for first impressions. Perhaps a health department inspection is required to get managements attention. read more

This place is fantastic! I live right down the road from it and get breakfast sometimes before work. The service is always great and the food is ready super fast. The bagels are really great. One thing I will add though is I ordered a French toast bagel with cream cheese on it a few weeks ago and the bagel was so hard I thought I might lose a tooth/cut my mouth open. I've never had another bagel like that though so perhaps it was just a bad batch. The coffee is always full and delicious and the serve yourself creamer is always full too. read more

Food is great, but they are severely lacking in customer service. You are expected to know everything about the menu and the bagels they have in stock with no help from the workers. I asked a question about their sausage and I was completely ignored. I asked what bagels they had and a worker named Cara said "whatever's leftover." in an extremely rude tone. It's a good bagel place. Awesome selection but they are a COVID nightmare. People eating at tables that have not been wiped down between customers. They don't enforce masks in line. I love coming for the bagels but just left there and got the turkey avocado bagel. I asked for it toasted but not warmed. It was warmed which made the bagel hard and it was warmed so much the turkey and cheese was burnt. Oh and let's talk about the turkey that was I meant was not on there about one shaving. They have a light turkey bagel that has less turkey on it so I feel like that's what they gave me. I'm very disappointed and I will never get a bagel sandwich from there again! i use to go here a lot and i loved it!! BUTTT it comes a point when waiting in a drive thru line for 45+ minutes just isn't worth a 4 dollar bagel. i don't even understand how it takes that long. oh and that's when it's not busy at all!!!! the food is meh. i could make a better bagel at home and that's what i've been doing. Let me tell you about their Lox bagel. Absolutely. Delicious. If you're into salmon, give it a try. My five-year-old is a fan of their pizza bagels. Note: They don't hold back on the cream cheese, so if you're trying to lose weight you might want to ask them to lessen it or order something else. I've done dine-in and takeout. Dine-in has been reliable with my order, but with takeout it's hit or miss if I request my bagel toasted (sometimes they forget to toast it). Great little, family friendly place. read more

While the bagels and sandwiches are amazing, the service here is subpar. The food is great, the bagels are just chewy enough and very flavorful and the veggies are fresh, however the workers here can be very rude and unfriendly. On my most recent trip the cashier seemed annoyed that we had even come in to order something and the rest of the staff was messing around in plain view of the costumers while people were waiting for their food. After we had ordered the cashier picked up the tip box and moved it basically on top of my purse, which in my opinion is extremely rude especially after acting so annoyed with us. I understand that they are probably working minimum wage but shoving the tip box in our face is just plain rude, if we wanted to tip your subpar service we would have. The food here is great but I hope that management and the owners will have a talk with their workers about costumer service, especially since so many reviewers have commented on the service here. read more

Good bagels, polite/friendly service (substantially more polite/friendly than the one on Broadway/33rd in my opinion), the cafe is cute and homey if you're into that kind of thing. I almost always get the same thing- lox, cream cheese, capers, onions, no tomatoes. Either on a garlic or asiago bagel, toasted. The wait can be a little bit on the long side for a food item that's so simple to make, (maybe its the toaster?) but it doesn't really bother me. I usually end up paying about $6.50 for what I order, which again is fine. You may think that's high or low, "cheap" is subjective. That being said, I do like the place. It's good. Howeverrrr....... I've probably been to this location 10 times and I swear half the time they screw something up with my order. I wrote my normal order above...there is literally 4 ingredients on the bagel. I'll end up with tomatoes, sometimes the bagel is toasted and other times it isn't, today they didn't put onions on it. It's not a huge deal to me, I'll pick the tomatoes off or deal with going onion-less. Seriously, I'm not that picky...but other people might be. Hence the 3 star review. read more

I love the food at Old School Bagel...when they get my order right at least. This location is frequently busy with college students, young families and retired couples that keep the staff busy. But services suffers due to the young inexperienced staff that enjoys goofing off in the back more than providing a quality product. On my most recent trip, they got one of the sandwiches wrong which would make for the 3rd time in a few weeks. This location can't seem to get it right no matter how many chances they get. It is becoming status quo that either the bagel is the wrong flavor, the toppings aren't correct or you are overcharged for your order. Today, they managed to leave all of the requested vegetables off of a turkey sandwich. Leaving the veggies off wouldn't have been that big of a deal if I was dining in, but it is frustrating when you get your order to go and get home to find out your order is again incorrect. I really enjoy the food that comes out of this kitchen; the bagels are just chewy enough, the meats are good quality and the veggies are fresh. Sadly though, I'm not sure how much longer I will be satisfied by the service when my order is almost always incorrect. read more

OSB cafe is one of my favorite eateries in OKC for what it is. This location has the worse service and is constantly making orders not to spec. Which food is food. Its service that sucks. I tried calling my order in 4 times and they never answered the phone. I drive up here and order. While standing in line watching 10 employees mess around not working, I realized why the phone wasn't answered. So I call again while standing in line just to watch the employees scatter and do absolutely nothing to answer the phone. Go figure tho, these kids are terrible at food service. read more

The food product is typically good! The service is below par. Service is very slow even when not busy. If in drive thru, plan to wait about 5-10 minutes per car. Even when I call in order it takes 5 minutes just to get it and cash out! Early morning they could come out and get your order, but don't! The problem I see here is very young employees with no leadership! They do not listen and do not work together! I guess the owners don't read reviews, because things never change. This location of Old School Bagel Café is a great site. The staff are courteous and the bagels are fresh and tasty. They fix what you order very quickly and have ample seating with free WIFI. After you go there a few times, the staff start to learn your name, and use it before you get to the counter -- that earns big time points with me! The coffee used to be pretty bad, but they recently started brewing a different kind and it is much better. I wouldn't call it gourmet, but it is good. They have a great garlic bagel with lox and cream cheese -- though you may want to steer clear from intimate contact with others afterward unless they really like the smell of garlic and onions(!). You can always get a different kind of bagel to cut down on the halitosis. Bagels are, of course, always fresh. I tried their egg salad on a bagel once -- not my favorite. It might be yours though. For now, I'm sticking to my oat and honey bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomatoes, and capers. This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. I enjoy stopping in here at least once a week. Originally I gave this place 4 stars, but I'm upgrading to 5. They learned my name, got better coffee, and they always get my bagel done quickly and right. Awesome! read more

I love Old School and I really wanted to love this location since it's so convenient to where I live. The food is delicious, but the customer service is not where it should be. Just this morning (and other mornings as well) I've called several times with no answer at all. Then, not to mention, it takes forever to get through the PICK UP WINDOW because they allow people to place orders at the window.
