I found this place through a Uber Eats Delivery pick-up order that got cancelled! Hahaha. The inside is small, but you walk in, you can already tell this place is going to be INSANELY good and I will tell you, even though I was doing Uber, the smell coming out their oven had me order one of their slices! The main chef I will say from the looks of it, seemed pretty overwhelmed from the amount of orders and what not, but everything was quick! This place had like, 10+ large boxes, and orders still coming, and the guy was just like, killing it! Now on to the taste... I only got a cheese slice and when I tell you, one of the best cheese slices in Vegas... undercarriage was spectacular, the cheese seemed like great quality, the crunch in every bite, mind you! Above the Crust on W. Ann Rd. It's a little place on the corner in a Strip Mall called Centennial Pavilion. I just so happen to be around this area and I saw it. I've heard from several people how much they liked it and they knew how much I love a NY style crispy crust. I walked in before noon and no one inside eating, but they had quite a bit of orders they were already working on for pick-ups. I love the vibes of this place-easy going! A little place with quite a few seating inside and a couple outside. The people were all chill and had great energy. I ordered 3 Pies to go and luckily it was two for Tuesday. Buy any large pie and get a large Cheese Pie for free. I ordered an AC Special, which is a combination. The free Cheese Pie, I added pepperoni on it. The last one was a small Traditional NY White, which is a garlic, oil, topped with ricotta, mozzarella and oregano. The pepperoni rolls and garlic rolls in the display case immediately caught my eye. They were fresh and tempting. I waited for around 20 minutes, sat down by the window and had a coke-free refills. By the time I got home the Pies were still hot. As I opened the box to my Pepperoni Pie, to my surprise, that classic crispy NY crust on my Pepperoni Pie, Yayyy! Classic NY flavor, simple, savory and done right. The only thing I'd tweak is a more consistent distribution of the pepperoni. I'm a pepperoni person through and through, but the Combo and NY White were equally satisfying. I definitely recommend you try this place. I can see why this is a popular Pizza Joint, with that said, there could be a wait for orders especially on Tuesdays for their Pizza Special or even their Everyday Specials. Above The Crust is a small family owned Pizzeria in Centennial. They offer some things that are different like house made potato chips and Asian Chicken Salads. They also had a special pizza of the day that was something like peaches and caramel today. The plain pizza here and the spinach & cheese calzone are either unseasoned or next to unseasoned here. I looked around and didn't notice any seasonings that you can add other than hot pepper. We both thought that the crust was hard to eat because it is kinda dry dense and sort of cracker-like and could use salt. The portions were very generous so I brought them home to doctor up. The name fits...probably one of the first pizza places where the toppings are plentiful and each one could be tasted individually. Walked in and workers were friendly, helpful with their recommendations, and talked to us several times during our visit. Now to the pizza...crust was about perfect, foldable and still crunchy! Finally found a pie that the cheese strings along as you pull the slice apart! Taste was great, like i mentioned each topping had its own flavor and could be distinguished with the bites. Wife had the pizza while I went with the Stromboli, filled with ham and pepperoni. It was a little heavy on the ham for my taste, but still pretty good. Tasted fresh and homemade, not frozen. Decided to stop by for a quick bite and the ambiance was pretty quiet. The service was super quick and I loved the amazing spread. Now I truly came for one thing: the garlic rolls. Now the garlic rolls were already out so they aren't necessarily made fresh. However they do warm them up and its wrapped and rolled in the beautiful garlic. Wow! I cannot believe this place was like 10 mins away from us and never tried it. Me and my husband was instacarting and delivered something at above the crust and when I walked it it smelled so good in there I was like I definitely have to come back and try it, so we did after finishing up the last Instacart order we decided to have lunch there. Had the special 2 slice special w a drink paid extra for the pepperoni added a garlic roll and pepperoni garlic roll and omg it was so good!!! The pizza had the crisp and the way I like it thin and light on the sauce, the marinara sauce they have is really good. The garlic roll is so good and so was the pizza garlic roll. Service was really good the lady was so nice and friendly and so was the young man cooking the pizza paid about $14 something w tip and we had such a great lunch. This will be a go to place for us from now on, it's such a cute small little business that I wished I have known a while back because we are definitely going to be regulars. First and for most, I highly recommend the hot honey chicken fingers, they were just perfect, I haven't had any chicken fingers with this sauce EVER. They were fresh and the fries were very good but lacked any type of seasoning BUT, they have salt and pepper shakers so that was fine with me. The chicken wings were nice and crispy and that Cajun seasoning,I swear I can put that stuff on everything, it was a very bold flavor and tbh, there was some fries that had the seasoning on them and that right there might be the best thing to accidently happen cause that seasoning is magic. The buffalo chicken pizza was recommended and I can see why. The chicken was nice and crispy, the dough was heavenly, the sauce was very nice BUT, I could've used more on the pizza but that's for next time. The crust was amazingly good and it had a buttery taste to it that made the pizza stand out just a little more. The regular garlic rolls are good BUT if your want more bang for you buck, the pepperoni garlic rolls are on point, I could eat a bakers dozen of them thangs and call it a day. Overall Above the crust is a very solid pizza place with a inviting and knowledgeable staff. Also ordered buffalo chicken fries, it was gigantic took two bites and paired with a half of the Philly sandwich we were stuffed. Asked for a to go box they brought out a small pizza box the fries fit perfectly in the box so it was literally the size of a small pizza. This restaurant is 25 miles away from home. Saw an IG reel of their garlic bread and knew we had to try it. Luckily, I had a doctor's appt 5 mins away and was like we're definitely stopping by. When I see a pizza place with 4 stars I usually come and check it out, which is exactly what I did last weekend. In my never ending search for my "favourite pizza place in Las Vegas" I stopped at Above the Crust (which has a really cool name) on Sunday and gave the pizza a try. I came in and ordered the same thing I order at every pizza place the first time, cheese pizza. It's the staple, it's simple, and if I don't like just the sauce and cheese together, I don't care to really try anything else. So how was it? Well, not good.
