Came in starving and excited, I had Rocco's from the Rainbow location when I was in Driver's Ed 25ish years ago. I fondly remember eating the best cannoli of my life. Anyway, I came in mid day and saw their special outside: $8.99 for 2 slices cheese and a drink. Went inside, saw multiple pizzas with different toppings dehydrating on the counter under lights, so figured all of them were available by the slice at different prices. Told the cashier "I saw the cheese+drink offer outside, what would be the price difference for that deal with pepperoni and a drink?" She stared at me blankly and said "there is no other deal like that. That's why the deal 9says "cheese slices". So despite having pizzas (cheese, pepperoni, sausage, veggie) sitting in open air under grow lights, apparently there's no way to order anything other than 2 slices cheese with a choice between 4 canned sodas? I wasnt trying to get it at the same price, I literally asked what the price difference was if i got pepperoni slices rather than cheese. Anyway, i got the cheese, they only had coke, diet coke, maybe Dr. pepper and sprite for the drinks. Also didnt have red peppers or cheese shakers (or packets, obvi). Didnt bother ordering cannolis bc it seemed pretty obvious that they dont make food in house to order, and I didnt think the cashier could make them if they did. The pizza was fine if you were craving $1 per slice pizza in Manhatten while being guided home wasted after a night of debauchery with your friends. Unfortunately, it was just under $12 after tax (not their fault) and once it cooled down slightly, tasted exactly how I'd imagine recycled cardboard Chewy boxes, wholesale Signature red sauce, and generic bagged pre-shredded cheese product would taste. I think i'd have been more forgiving if the service was better, but with the blank stares and cardboard pizza, it's just not the business. Streets of New York a few miles up the road is a thousand times better if youre looking for a slice with flavor and at least a modicum of service. read more

Food quality has gone down. My office and I used to love this spot for lunch. Recently it seems the food quality has gone down & the pizza isn't made with love anymore. It was so thinly sliced that it felt like my teeth were just hitting each other. Not to mention there was no cheese at all. The crust used to be one of my favorite parts about this as well and it seems like this time they were just extremely burnt and hard. When we called to try to find a resolution, the lady who answered the phone responded with all the pizzas are fresh. We promised we reheated them in the oven before giving them to you.... We came here a few days ago for lunch and saw that they had a lunch combo for $8.99 2 slices of cheese w a drink upon ordering the young girl informed us for additional $1 you can get all the other pizza than just the cheese they have on display. We got like the sliced meatball ricotta, we were going to eat it there but the inside of this little mini pizza place was a tad bit warm. They only have like 2 or 3 mini tables but I don't know if there was something wrong with the ac so we took it to go. Came home totally forgot to take a pic of the pizza, we were surprise how big the 2 slices were like we had to cut one slice in half and shared that, not bad for the price. We got wings and tenders plain sauce on the side and I like crispy wings and tenders but these were a bit tooo crispy borderline burnt. I have to give the tenders and wings 1 star. But these worst part of my experience was the costumer service. Rude over the phone! I was told a cash and a CC price. When I got there I decided I'll save the 5$ and pay cash. But they gave me a hard time because I had a 100$ bill my total was 66$ and if you don't except 100s please tell me over the phone when instructing me to pay cash because it's 5$ cheaper. Looking on Yelp for new restaurants in the Centennial Hills area, Rocco's NY Pizza was one of the first places to pop up on the search! When I saw that it had NY Pizza, I just had to get some food for lunch from here! Rocco's NY Pizza is located off of the 215/Durango Exit. It's in a large plaza where Petsmart and Kohl's is located. It's nearby Buffalo Wild Wings. There are plenty of parking spots available! Rocco's NY Pizza has a wide variety of pizzas, salads, pasta, sandwiches, Strombolis, calzones, and so much more! There was a special for a NY Cheese Pizza on Mondays. We ended up placing an order for their cheese pizza, chicken tenders from the appetizers menu and an order of their garlic knots. The pickup order was immediately ready and we ended up eating the meal back at our residence. The cheese pizza was great. The marinara sauce used wasn't too sweet, and there was plenty of cheese on the pizza! The dough wasn't burnt either! The chicken tenders were good. There was only 5 pieces of the chicken tenders. They were perfectly fried though and the order provided a side of ranch sauce too. The garlic knots were scrumptious! You could taste the fresh garlic on each bite! Food was terrible. Placed an order and took home. Pizza was not cooked all the way through. No sauce on it either. Ordered cheese bread. It was not toasted and was also not cooked all the way through and cheese was not melted. Called and received negative response from woman who offered credit unless food was returned back. Had to drive 10 miles back across town to return food when we could have sent pics. I am not happy we had to waste gas on 4 trips for not only terrible food but awful service for uncooked food. This location is good. The Alliente location is horrible. Their quality has dropped significantly and service is horrible. Durango employee said Alliente uses the Rocco name but different owner. I ordered a slice of the cheese pizza that was sitting on the counter and just heated up. It was decent not bad, I came back to get slice for my husband of another type of pizza and he enjoyed it. The food is always consistent, we eat here frequently and enjoy their pizzas and wings. Another favorite is the Philly cheesesteak- it's very good! I was excited to see Rocco's opening a pizzeria in place of a failed one in this location. My hubby and I went in on a Monday and took advantage of the $13.95 large pie they have on a Monday night special. We ordered it as just a cheese pizza and anxiously took it home to devour it. Ordered an "everything" pizza from the Rocco's located off of Aliante. The pizza was amazing so I thought, why not order from a Rocco's closer to my home? The Rocco's off of N. Durango is much closer to my home but apparently, not all Rocco's pizza restaurants are owned/operated by the same people. Again, ordered the "everything" pizza and it was fine but could not compare with the "everything" pizza from the Aliante location, which was truly amazing. Plus the young lady who took our order was constantly flirting/talking with the kitchen staff and I waited significantly longer for my pizza because of this. Yes, the pizza was ok, but in the future, I will drive the additional 15 minutes to order the pizza from the Rocco's location off of Aliante. read more
