The place gives an old, hole-in-the-wallish feel to it. Clean, decent-sized, everything is service-based except for the crushed red pepper on the table such as parm and soda refills. Ordered the 2-slice and a soda special for $7. Added 3 toppings to the slices which brought the price closer to $14. After tip, over $17. The slices I ordered was delicious. Great texture, crispy crust, hearty savory sauce, and good amount of cheese. The topping amount and flavor was on target. I found the customer service to be pretty luke warm at best. It felt like the employees aren't down with providing any added assistance other than taking and serving the customer's order in a deadpan kind of way. Being this establishment is mostly a non self-serve outfit, the operation requires more interaction from employees to make sure the patron is attended to through and through, not just simply the order itself and walkaway. That's just my thought, anyway. I will say that it did improve somewhat towards the end of the experience when asked if wanted a soda refill which I obligingly accepted. Do not order the black olive's until they replace them with new ones. They are spoiled and the chef said they were in brine and oil. I smelled weird odor when the pizza was delivered, I thought it was the mushrooms but I eat one of the black olives and it was bad. He offered me a discount on my bill for the olives but said we could eat them. I took them off the pizza and keep them Incase we got food poisoning. I made it through the night but still feel nauseous from the pizza and threw the leftover in the trash. So sad the food is usually great. There is a 2 hour window on room temp foods. I was hopeful the owner would have to taste the olives and toss them. Hopefully hire or educate the chef, clearly he was wrong. read more

We decided on takeout one rainy Saturday night. Originally, we were going to order delivery, but the wait time was over an hour and a half, so we switched to pickup instead. They told us the pizza would be ready in about 30-40 minutes, which worked out perfectly. When I arrived, the girl at the front was friendly and handed me my order right away. The shop itself was very clean with plenty of seating, so it would be a nice spot to dine in as well. We ordered the White Pizza, and it was delicious! Definitely heavy on the garlic (which I loved). I added parmesan and red pepper flakes at home, and it was even better. Nice service, tasty food, and a clean, welcoming shop. Love the pizza, but in the last month or so, Grubhub is now wanting to charge me an additional $3.99 delivery fee. I live less than 2 miles away from Sabatino's, have ordered twice per week for 8 years, but no longer will buy their pizza, sandwiches, pasta, etc. I'm pretty sure this is being imposed not by GRUBHUB but by the owner, And that's really a stupid business decision. Like PIZZA isn't profitable enough and the $4 tips x 2 per week I pay your drivers isn't enough? $3.99 is their pwn delivery charge on their own website. Greedy and dumb. Piece of advice, go through your database and look at the drop from GRUBHUB business. And you're certainly not attracting new business that way either. We were very disappointed in the service here, we've come in a couple of times and each time experienced issues. The first time the wait was 15 minutes longer than estimated. Tonight, I asked for ranch and was told they have to charge immediately after watching them give ranch to another customer without charging. If you're going to have a policy it should be applied to all customers. Also, after tipping for a delivery order we were not even offered plates or parm and red pepper, which was also offered to other customers while I was waiting for my order. The menu is vast with some awesome pizzas, but I was told to try the Wild White. This has a garlic ranch sauce and topped with buffalo chicken. This pizza came out looking simple but the flavor was phenomenal. The flavors went so well together. I only got a personal, but next time I'm ordering a larger one to share.
