I just moved here and have been looking for my new go-to barber shop. I thought I'd give this place a shot seeing all the good reviews. Once I walked in, I felt like everyone had an attitude and one guy simply said "sign in is over there" pointing to the other side of the room. Not the most welcoming environment. The guy that cut my hair didn't do a terrible job but he wasn't very engaging or talkative. If I'm going to start going to a place regularly, I'd like to have some sort of rapport with the barber. He also cut my left ear with the straight razor and didn't acknowledge it or apologize. The worst thing that happened was that there was this little boy, maybe around 6 years old, who was obviously terrified. Two barbers were trying to get the boy to calm down but it then became apparent that the boy was possibly autistic or have some sort of developmental delay. After several failed attempts at cutting the boy's hair, the mom took him and left. After they left, one of the barbers was explaining to the others that the boy did, in fact, have autism, hence why he was unable to cut his hair. One of the other barbers then exclaimed that autism isn't real and that the boy needed to be smacked with a sandal. As a person that works with kids and adults with special needs, I found this barber's comment extremely insensitive and ignorant. I would think if the barber had something to say, even if frustrated, they would keep it to themselves or just say it in private to the other barber. I won't support a business that speaks this way about their customers, especially when they have special needs. read more

Ok where to begin. I was looking for a place that does beards. I was weary from a year ago when I went to another shop across town and they royally screwed up my beard before my wedding. I came in and was immediately greeted by Nick. Nick told me that everyone was great at beards there. I told him of my past experience across town. He recommended Carson. Carson was awesome. Listened to exactly what I said and did a perfect job. I couldn't be happier with his work. The owner Casper was very cool aswell we chatted while I got my hair cut . The atmosphere here is amazing. Don't expect Super Cuts. They take their time with everyone. So the in and out quick cut is not these guys. Expect to wait. But totally worth it. I have been going to OTB for about a year and love them! They have that real old town vibe! Oldie music playing. Barbers who interact with you. This business has safety as a priority. Masks are required as you wait. They recently got a bad yelp review saying they were unsanitary. That is not true. The crew cleans up after every customer. I highly recommend OTB! read more

I am an active-duty United States Marine and I have had many barbers in my time. My expectations all changed when I received a haircut from Carson at Old Town Barbers. When you walk in you are greeted by all the barbers and it has this vintage style barber shop feel to it. You are caught off guard by all of the rad paintings and pieces of barber shop art in the establishment. It fits perfectly in the "old town" setting. Carson had just finished giving another customer a haircut, but did not waste any time before having me sit down and get settled in. He asked me exactly what I wanted cause I could feel he wanted to make me happy about the haircut I was about to receive and that felt great. Most times the barber will ask and before you can finish they start cutting away. I told him to work his magic, but all I asked for is a 0-3 fade. He said, "Say no more fam. I got just the thing." Within the time of 45 minutes Carson completely changed my perspective of how I get my haircut on a weekly basis. He puts all barbers that I have had to shame. To top it off, while he was giving me a haircut, he asks, "Hey brother, you wanna get a buzz while you get a buzz?" And offered me a beer. This Old Town Barbers rates a 5 star review for its outstanding performance, its great staff, and interactive business owner. 10/10 would highly recommend!! My son hates his hair cut usually has a full melt down Jacob cut his hair he didn't cry one tear !!! The lady in the front was soo welcoming and sweet and even one of the other barbers there helped make him feel happy and comfortable!!
