Let's talk about wtf! I have the most basic fade on earth. But this.....wow First off: here is a picture of the fade start with a 1 work it up no skin tight.... Well, absolutely not what I got, you can see every step in the fade and this took 40 min! The place is cool, that SD vibe but I've never walked into a spot and felt so off. I'm shooting the kid is new, nice dude and all, but being there is (5) other guys there working, and looking over, someone should have helped him out. I have been following David the owner since I moved to the area (10 years plus) and I haven't left. I have had my barber back in LA since I was 14 years (43 now) old and never wanted to leave but I moved away to the IE. Ever since I met David I knew he was the one to fill the shoes of my new barber and I'm glad I met him because he takes care of my hair and beard like no one else. I will not go elsewhere. I also Took my 1 year old grandson to get his hair cut by Rick and boy did he do a great job. He was professional he was patient and his haircut looked amazing. My grandson did cry during this cut but Ricky was able to get him to relax and calm down by giving him a lollipop. I would definitely recommend this establishment to everyone and anyone in the area. Came in here yesterday to get a medium skin fade , some young kid cut my hair all bad , first off I said a number 1 on top , didn't go over it kept switching out his clips idk why ? Fade down lower on right side , he got done and didn't even wanna give me the mirror to show me I had to ask for it then told him I ain't happy with it bro like come on simple cut if u working there ! Ended up goin home noticed it more the right side way lower then left , just disappointed never had a bad cut there when Bradly was cutting it , 30$ bucks plus tip down the drain, try and keep it local I work off Jefferson that's why I go here , not happy about it , don't know how that kid got a chair in there but I'm sure I won't be last one to notice ! Who carries cash? they have a small private ATM machine with rip off fees, I withdrew $40.00 and was charged $3.75, 2 days later I got another charge for $2.50, total of $6.25 for $40.00. my total charge for an old fashion # 1 butch was $46.25 including a $5.00 tip. First off, I never do yelp reviews. I've been in the customer service industry for over 30 years. I'm very hard to impress when it comes to customer service. I've been looking for a good barber for a long time. Most barber shops are loud and don't put customer service as the #1 priority. I saw Andy advertise on instagram and decided to give him a shot. I like to make the earliest appointment possible. I made an appointment at 8 am on Saturday. Andy was there on time which impressed me a lot. The shop was very nice even though it's in a unique location. Andy knows exactly what customer service is. I don't normally like talking to the person cutting my hair, but Andy was easy to talk to. Haircut was great. Andy made a few suggestions for me and it turned out better then I expected. Also, prices are great! Most barbershops now charge a-lot for a haircut that doesn't include all the things Andy did. Andy and The Gents Barbershop will be my new barbershop going forward. The new shop is very comfortable and clean and minutes away from downtown Temecula restaurants and shopping .
