I also asked for my hairline to be squared up in the back but not to just cut it up because that's how rookies deal with tough necklines... What's the first thing done? Cuts my neckline in a random place squared up- almost by an inch from my normal neckline. I couldn't tell because I was facing away from the mirror.... But when you're told, they understand, you trust them. Then he proceeds to dive into my sideburns and beard and completely takes me to almost skin on the sides...I ask him to turn me around to look at my beard and it's completely wrong- all the way to the skin, my sideburns gone all the way up into my hairline... I'm like, "dude, I said don't go to the skin..."and his response "yeah, my bad I took it too low..." This coming from a guy that was a "teacher" at barber school? I see the other barber look over, like he's heard this reaction before. At this point, I've had enough, I get up, I give the guy a $20 because everyone's time has a value and I walk out...

A barbershop that isn't busy on a Saturday morning should've made me suspicious, but I was feeling optimistic. Wrong. The barber seemed inexperienced and the service felt rushed. I specifically asked for a simple neck cleanup, which took only a few minutes, yet they charged $20 for that tiny touch-up while a full haircut is only $35. That pricing makes absolutely no sense and feels like they're taking advantage of walk-ins. Everyone was friendly enough at first to get you in the door, but once the service was done the attitude changed. The manager didn't seem service-oriented at all and showed no interest in making the situation right. For a place that should value repeat customers, this experience made it clear they don't. Avoid this barbershop -- you probably won't want to come back a second time. The barber even missed hairs on my neck that were covered by the itchy paper around my neck. Careless. Do better, Sunset!

If you want a REAL man's haircut and not some foo-foo salon style, this is the place to get it. These guys are masters of their craft and wield a straight razor with expert skill. You want a traditional cut? No problem. You need to maintain a regulation military cut? No problem. If you're active duty, they'll cut you a discount, to boot. If you've got a beard/mustache/goatee or are growing one and don't want to look like you just spent four years stranded on an island talking to your only friend, a volleyball named Wilson, then Old Town Barbers have you covered. They're experts in trimming and shaping to get the look you want. Even if you don't have to wait for an open chair you may want to hang out there for a while. This barber shop has a great vibe. There are always good tunes playing and the place is decked with art and furniture inspired by classic cars and old-school manliness. Even the barbers' stations are pinstriped. Definitely feel at home here with everyone, Barbershops can feel intimidating and a bit confusing for some who aren't familiar. This isn't the case here, all the Barbers are down to earth and make sure you're welcomed....Ice cold beers, good conversations with some good laughs. Wendi is my go to Barber and absolutely not a werewolf at all, after my first couple cuts with her she has my cut dialed in, I never have to worry. She's attentive, extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. I'm proud to say she has not only become my Barber but my friend. Joh is an absolute rockstar barber. The quality of her cuts is on another level, precise, consistent, and always exactly what I want. Her attention to detail is incredible, and it shows every single time. What I appreciate most is how well she knows me. I don't even need to say a word anymore, she already knows the look, the adjustments, and what works best for me. That level of care and professionalism is rare. On top of that, she's genuinely friendly and makes every visit a great experience. This place is conducting business like we're not going through a global pandemic, for starters they don't have a sign on their doors/ windows requiring customers to wear a face mask, not one single employee wears a face mask, when confronted if they require a face mask to come in one of the barbers did not have a response! These people are inconsiderate and don't care about their community or well being of the customers, they only care about money and nothing else!! After seeing the great reviews, I brought my boyfriend here back in May to get his hair cut. We walked in and loved the chill atmosphere. We were greeted with great hospitality. A chair opened up and we had the pleasure of having Andrew cut my boyfriend's hair. Let me tell you, he did an AWESOME job! What I appreciated about Andrew is that he took his time, he didn't try to rush the job. He truly cared about the look and style of the haircut. I waited for 20 minutes with my name on the list. this guy sat behind the desk all that time watching the TV and drinking a beer. He got up looked at me ( no mask ) said I'll take you now still with the beer in his hand . I said no thanks and walked out found another place which was jus a barbers. They have complementary beer, if you give them a Yelp review they give you a discounts, and a friendly atmosphere but their haircuts are poor. Sorry guys. I feel horrible for leaving this review but instead of trying to make us laugh maybe you guys should focus more on the quality of haircut. When I got out the military I would keep going to new barbers every two weeks cause I could never find the right person to cut my hair the way I like it. The way it was done when I was in. Until one day I stumbled upon OTB and Wendi she was super nice made me feel right at home was super easy to talk too didnt have that awkward silence you have when you meet someone new. The shop is clean, staff is friendly but the haircuts my son and I received were very poor. It seemed like the barbers were students or something. My oldest son asked for a trim up top and the Barber just buzzed it off. The main Barber tried fixing it but there wasn't anything he could do. Went in for a hot towel razor head shave and a beard trim and left with irritation and numerous cuts on my head, with one of them being deep. Can't imagine what would have happened if it was a straight razor instead of a safety razor. The foil shaver he used got a closer than the safety razors that were used. I would have just razored it at home, but now I can't because of all the nicks and the cut. While showering to get the stypic powder off that he used to stop the bleeding, it started bleeding again right away. Had to hold pressure and clean the rest of the powder with alcohol. I really wished this was going to be a pleasant barber experience as I wanted to treat myself for my birthday, but it ended being the worst mistake. I am so disappointed that I am starting my family vacation in with cuts all over my head. Worst part is that he wasn't even able to shave my head smooth and left unshaved areas behind both ears.

SONG OF THE DAY to play along to this YELP REVIEW: The Tom and Jerry theme song by Scott Bradley... We've been searching for a good barber for a while now. We've gone as far as SD and LA and though we have a favorite barber in LA it's quite a distance. So glad we found a skillful barber in our neighborhood... My husband said she is very experienced and did the cut in about 15 minutes or less... I was waiting for him in the car with COCO and it did not feel like we waited that long either. I also notice 2 other younger men walking out with really nice fades... SERVICE: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PARKING: PLENTY throughout entire the day!!! ROCK ON TOM'S BARBERSHOP!!!!!!

All quality haircuts with a good friendly vibe. Big screen TV. Very reasonable pricing. Usually 2-4…read morebarbers including Tom cutting hair.
