Came in because I was starving and I needed something small to eat ASAP, no customers were in here, saw your employee and said "Im looking for a snack!" just to make conversation since we didn't receive any acknowledgement as she was so busy dusting the coolers. Her response: "Ok, and?" like such a b****y attitude and comment. Walked around once and headed out without spending a dime because your cooler stuff looked rancid and my idea of a snack wasn't one of the hundred bags of chips displayed. I've been coming to this liquor store since I was 15 ( 10+ years now ) Eddie was the best!! Now there is the most rude, angry little lady in there who seems to be so annoyed by any question you ask, go to the liquor store on the other side of front st for better service. read more

This place has a TON of good beer. They even have a section for a 'local beer' so if you wanted to be able to get something for the hotel room you can. I even found a 'Lord of the Rings' beer, that I never seen anywhere else. Seriously a great little place to pick up some drinks! read more

I purchased a $13 Puff Bar from them yesterday. I used it maybe 3 times since I bought it and this morning the battery is dead! I called in and was told "sorry they are made in China". Seriously bad business. The product is obviously faulty and you should have offered to replace it. BAD BUSINESS. You just lost a customer. read more

Just made a trip to get something a a business next to old town liquor. Owner was standing outside, no customers in store, he tells me that we were parked in one of 'his' spots. I am disabled with disabled plates, he said he wasn't going to make a big deal about it. I told him that the state of California DMV makes it legal for handicap to park even in time limit or designated spots, and we went about our business. He tracked me down in the show at threaten me that he was had called the police and was going to have my handicapped Van towed. If you are disabled, have a family member or know someone who is disabled please do not patronize this business. He is very disrespectful to disabled. read more

I don't usually write reviews but this place is A1. When I was there a homeless person came in and placed 2 beers at the register. When the owner rang them up the guy said he was expecting a check real soon and asked if he could pay for them tomorrow. The owner said "no problem" which really surprised me. The homeless guy asked for 2 more which were immediately denied. When he left I asked if he expected to be paid back. The owner laughed and said "no, but they guys got it rough and just wanted a beer." I've been coming here 100% since. This is not a "Not for Profit Place" so please don't ask for credit. Should have learned my lesson a year or so ago when I called ahead and drove across town before they closed. The guy says they are open for another hour. I get there in 20 minutes and everything is dark and the crickets are chirping. They answer their phone with "hello"...go ahead and try it. What kind of business does that? Anyway, just encountered another poor service issue with this Bozo which I won't bore you with details. There is good news however! There is a place east on Rancho California road called Barons Marketplace that has a huge selection of craft/micro brews at better pricing. They also have wine but I don't think kegs. Excellent store. It is a typical sized, small liquor store, but the space is used well. It is clear that Rick is up on all thing craft beer and good wine and spirits. I've talked many times with him about beer in particular. No, they don't have everything, due to size, they do have many beers that you will not find at BevMo, for instance, or most other liquor stores. Some beers may seem pricey to others and some beers may seem like a steal. I think it's just the nature of owning a smaller store like that. I don't think they get the deals that the big stores get from distributors. Anyway, I stop by there whenever I can. Great little store. read more
