Chicken tender basket Fried onions Cheese curd poutine Steak tip plate with garlic mashed and green beans Mini
Marykathleen P.

When I arrived I was going for a quick app and drink and doing a huge take out order for my son's first birthday! I forgot my waitresses name but she was so kind and sweet! Young long haired brunette! I was so impressed with her communication skills and kindness! She was so helpful with the menu and attentive! I was there on a Sunday mid day and I was seated right away got fried pickle for an app and a lemon drop martini and let me tell you it was delicious! For take out I ordered mini pretzels with beer cheese, cheese curd poutine, chicken tender basket, two orders of steak tip plates with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans! Needless to say the entire meal was eaten! Everything was outstanding! We will be going back this week to eat inside! The atmosphere was so calm and cool inside. Staff was wonderful, service and everything came out a timely manner. I have to say I have been waiting to come in here and I'm so glad I did! Thank you old town tavern for the amazing customer service and the quality of food! can't wait to dine in!

Started with an espresso martini and enjoyed the Castle Rock Chardonnay with my yummy hot and light Scallop Special. Excellent service! Jessie and Ali rock! Thanks for a perfect end to my work week!

We are new to the area, we found this place when searching for local restaurants. It's what I…read morewould deem a hole in the wall, (only because it is not a large venue) but it has excellent service and great food. We started with some cocktails and the cheese curds, for Andres we had the Smashburger and an order of duck tacos. We do come toting along with a six-year-old so with a lack of a kids menu or a simpler eats, we went with the cheese flatbread (note to anybody reading it comes without sauce. It is literally cheese on a flatbread). We can't fall places for not being kid friendly, but it would've been awesome to have even just a grilled cheese option, but that's our problem for another day. Sadly, it will limit when we can plan our future visit visits. The service was great, friendly and attentive, in the ambience, cozy and warm. I travel quite a bit and my husband did deem this a place that "I could come and sit at the bar when I'm by myself " So personally, the only thing I would say is they could use a few more smaller plates that could thicken as child, friendly entrées... or just add a tad bit more options into the mix.

I'd rate Townhall four and a half stars…read more Great gastropub. Solid selection of whiskeys and beers. Beers focus on local craft options. I had a few Helles lagers from Moat Mountain. Very approachable menu with a few sections but a handful of options in each section. From the starters section, we shared the duck wings and the fried cheese curds. Surprisingly, a lot of duck featured on the menu. Not something I typically see at a casual taphouse. Duck wings were great. Ultra crispy and card with mandarin wedges for a perfect compliment. The fried cheese curds came out piping hot. Some of them seemed to pop and the cheese oozed out leaving some hollow curds. The ones that maintained their integrity and contained the cheese were superb. We shared the Korean fried chicken sandwich as our main. Super crispy and vinegar forward. Came with spiraled potato wedges which was an ideal accompaniment for a few beers. Service was quick and accommodating. Food came out quickly too. A couple TVs to catch an event. Great spot!

Staff are quick to help with orders or questions, but they're quite busy! They have some small or sharing options as food, but it's mostly cocktail focused. Great selections for drinks, very well made. Some fun and unique options - see menu. Had 2 different cocktails and tried a 3rd, just wonderfully mixed with lively flavors and nice presentation. Also had some of their small notes - pickles and another - both devoured quickly by our table. Great spot, thanks.

This place is SO cool - a unique little cocktail bar nestled in some sort of building that I have…read moreno idea what it is, but we found it, and I was glad. The service was okay, the Hostess was quick to find us a table which was awesome since we were a party of six, so that was super appreciated. We sat down and drink orders were pretty quick but they did take awhile, which shows that they really do make everything from scratch. Their drink menu had some really cool, unique drinks on it and I honestly wanted to try them all. If they had a flight, I would have absolutely not been able to say no. We were super impressed with their bourbon selection, and they actually had pretty good prices too, so we were able to try some great options. It was the perfect night cap for our group to indulge in one last drink before bed. Awesome spot to chill and chit chat.

A friend and I visited Unwind on a beautiful Wednesday evening and had a wonderful experience. We…read moreshared four tapas: the She Crab, Shrimp Gambas, Duck Potstickers, and Halloumi Fries. Every dish was absolutely delicious, making it hard to pick a favorite, but the Duck Potstickers were especially outstanding- an easy 10/10! The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, with a true farm-to-table feel, and each dish was perfectly seasoned and packed with flavor. For drinks, my friend enjoyed a Zinfandel while I ordered the Coppertone rum cocktail, which was refreshing and perfect for a warm evening. Our host and waitress were extremely attentive, knowledgeable about both the food and beverage menus, and offered excellent recommendations. We sat outdoors on the rooftop deck under an umbrella, which provided a lovely atmosphere. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Milford, with plenty of free off-street parking available. The only downside was the motorcycle traffic from a nearby biker bar. Every time a group rode by, the engines were quite loud and interrupted the otherwise relaxing ambiance. Even so, the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere easily made this a place I'd happily return to.

The food and service were good--but the end of the night completely ruined the experience. After we paid and were clearly wrapping up, a hostess came over and told us we had been there for two hours and needed to give up the table, offering to move us to the bar. That's not hospitality. We were already about to leave, and instead of a basic courtesy to finish our conversation, we were made to feel rushed out. In over 25 years of dining in the U.S., I've never been pushed out of a restaurant like that. It completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable evening.
