On the other end of the spectrum the blueberry peach almond coffee cake was burnt and extremely dry. My daughter did enjoy her peanut butter cream filled sandwich cookie so, points for that. What makes me sad is that I am not sure when I will get a chance to return to see if it was an off day for them and also, food prices are SO high it is disappointing to basically throw away $15 worth of food. For pizzas, we got the poh-tay-toh ($28) and Gus Gus ($27 - asparagus, green garlic, tarragon, mozzarella, parm). These were more redeeming than the apps, tasty, but not ground shattering. Understandably the "ambiance" was expected since did not have reservations, but even then, the exterior was dusty and we did not feel the staff was present. Outdoor restroom was a step up from a hiking trailhead bathroom. The establishment inside is very nice so YMMV, but our experience was less than stellar. Overall, disappointed by the experience. I like ice cream, but I never get too excited about it. While we were staying on Orcas Island we had the pleasure of frequenting Lily who serves up Lopez Island Ice Cream. This Ice Cream is OUTSTANDING and I am now craving it (an ice cream first for me).
