Olgas have closed a few locations but I'm glad this one is open. This is my go to for salads in Auburn Hills. Chicken is great and salads are fresh. The fudge brownie is good too. They have a good call ahead service. Haven't dined in so I can't comment on that. read more

I think they are sorely understaffed. I went there last night for a fundraiser for my child's elementary school. We got there at 5:30pm and did not leave until 7pm. Our waiter was very clearly BRAND NEW and in way over his head. We saw him maybe 4 times the entire time we were there. We had issues with our order and could never get any help. My salad had zero dressing and they forgot the feta cheese. My kids meals had maybe 1/4 cup of apple slices in each cup. I asked him if that really was the apple serving and got "yup" as he ran away from the table. He apologized for the kitchen being "really backed up" but I think they were understaffed in general. It's bad when you spend an hour and a half somewhere and as you're leaving you and your kids are both still hungry. read more

It has been a very long time since I had been to Olga's. Pita wraps aren't my most favorite but having a gift card and not in the mood to cook something for the family, we headed on over to Olga's. Fairly dead traffic which is fine by me. Clean interior, nice and spacious even though the booths feel a little congested. We were greeted by the lady in the front counter who was super nice and seated us right away. We were given our menus and told that the sriracha olga wrap was new and the sriracha fries. I got the lamb beef mediterranean wrap, with white bean chili, and small olga salad. The main with two side's is $8.99 + $2.99, pretty good deal. My husband got the sriracha wrap with sriracha fries. We also ordered a sriracha snackers for our appetizer. It was embarrassing how sad the tiny plate of baked pita breads arrived with some sriracha cheese side dip which smelled a lot like funky cheese. The appetizer was a joke but my husband still licked the plate clean. We got a free dessert couple for checking in at yelp and so my son got the orange cream cooler which was basically an orange cream soda. Delicious I had a sip! My wrap was mediocre which they usually are, the white bean chicken chili was gloopy but alright. The salad had super sad looking lettuce but nevertheless refreshing. The food can't get better than average here at best. But the server was awesome, super polite and attentive. +1 star for that! We'll come back if we get another giftcard ;-P read more

This was my first time at Olga's and it was pretty good. The pita bread was the standout of the meal for sure. I got one of the chicken pita gyros and a side of broccoli cheddar soup. The soup tasted like it was out of a can, it was in a tiny little cup and there was almost no broccoli whatsoever and a complete lack of any cheese flavor. The pita was very good but had very little sauce so I had to ask for more. The price was fine and the restaurant was very clean and quiet. The server was helpful to the point of annoyance. I could not take a bite of food without her walking by and asking if everything was OK and if I needed anything. I get being attentive but this was over the top. I would probably not go back for dine in service but the food was good enough that I would get take out. read more

OMG, this place is getting worse from when I last wrote. I was craving Olga's. I happened to be near this one around lunchtime. I went in, stood at the hostess stand and as usual did not get acknowledged. All the workers were standing two feet away discussing something. Then, some customers were walking out and said something to the group of employees. They were bantering back and forth about how they only used a rubber glove to touch something. Olga's has always been my go to place with my mom and we haven't been to this one in a long time. Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. We waited close to 10 mins before we were acknowledged to dine in, but were able to place our orders quickly. We ordered the original snackers, which were fine but had to ask for more cheese. Then we also ordered the broccoli and cheese soup which arrived next and when they arrived, they looked chunky and abnormal... my mom goes for a taste and it was extremely cold as if it was sitting out all day. We immediately ask for that to be fixed. Then, mom ordered and original classic Olga's- make it larger. And it came with no sauce and sad looking tomatoes (attached image), again- asked that to be fixed in which the server brought out new looking tomatoes and extra sauce. Next, returned the broccoli soup which appeared to look like how it's supposed to - only thing was.. you could tell they just microwaved it because of how some of the soup appeared dry close then rim of the bowl. One of the worst experience we've had dining in and usually the manager comes to the table but theirs did not even approach us to address the issues. read more

NOTE: This review is very narrow in scope (one dish only). Olga's is a franchise and a pretty popular restaurant. I went for lunch and they were pretty busy. The interior is clean and well lit. It's been years since I went to Olga's, but I recalled they had a decent Gyros. Well they've re-branded it as The Olga. My side was fries. Sadly to say, my "Olga" was not as tasty as I remembered it, and it was way more expensive to boot (way beyond the rate of inflation). The flatbread for my Olga was as I remembered it, very soft and doughy. Back then it was the worse part of the Gyros, and it's still the same today. The sauce is also exactly as I remembered it, but back then it was called Tzatziki, a cucumber- yogurt based sauce. The vegetables were also as I remembered it, fresh. The gyro meat itself still carried flavour, but they put a lot less in it now. I recall the sandwich bursting, barely able to close the wrap, and now, it's overlapping, similar to a burrito. While the ingredients that make up the dish are fine, the proportions are off and the price is up. Couple that with the sub-par bread, and it equals: way better places to get your fix. 2 stars. Absolutely wonderful! I had never been to an olgas before, but I figured it was time to try it, i was seated by some of the nicest and most respectful girls you will find anywhere in the rochester area. Ordering food was not a problem and the waitress was very easy to talk to. The food came out rather quickly but I was very surprised at how well it tasted, I usually don't make a big deal about my food but I thought I would send my compliments to the cooks and management for giving me such a wonderful experience at this restaurant, the food was excellent, will be coming back soon read more

I'm sorry, if native Detroiters (or whatever they're called) consider Olga's a must-eat, I feel very very sorry for you. Olga's is not much more than a pseudo-Mediterranean version of Panera. I was going to order the "Original" but when my coworker (who's a native) said that it's not a "real" gyro (e.g. what you can find in Chicago), I decided to pass. Why would anyone screw around with something that is already perfect? I got the Grilled Chicken instead... it was just okay; it made me not hungry any more and that's about the most positive thing I can say about it. The snackers looked ridiculously unhealthy. Me thinks not is right on! -- go somewhere else! I am still trying to figure out how we left this place with an almost 30 dollar bill when all we got were one medicore wrap and one disgusting wrap, and some greasy fries. We only drank water too! This was probably worth 10 dollars not 30. The waiter was trying way too hard to be humorous - this restaurant doesn't even need waiters. I would eat anywhere else but this place -- even McDonalds. I used to really like coming in here, but it has gone down the tubes. They have the slowest and worst customer service. I went in there last week and they made me late getting back to work and made excuses for how slow they were. "Someone did not show up to work today" then, I had to leave my credit card and have my friend sign for me on it, so I did not miss my meeting. Then, I called to complain about this experience and one prior. They blew me off, saying they had a rush order. But you couldn't rush my order! I LOVE OLGA'S. Granted, I order the exact same thing every time I go. I should reevaluate that statement. I LOVE THE ORIGINAL OLGA SANDWICH AND OLGA SNACKERS. There, that's the truth. I try to avoid eating the same thing over and over again at a restaurant, but really, I know I'll be disappointed if I don't get it - so why mess with something that works? I could drink the sauce that goes on the Original Olga sandwich. It seems to be their version of tzatziki, but instead of a garlic flavor, it's very lemony. I knew Olga when she first opened in Birmingham. MI way back in the day before she retired. I decided to try the Olga's Kitchen on Squirrel Road, hoping for a good bowl of soup, & a spinach chicken salad. Big disappointment, menu stated it have lamb in it...not pieces of Gyros meat..flavor was flat...it was just awful. The salad was very bland, dressing was almost 'not there', & from the taste there was 'no there, there' so I did not bother asking for more. I order the Olga pita smackers, very disappointing, just little pita slices with some boring orange colored spice salt...what a waste of money any one with plain salt, butter, & a toaster could do much better. I usually like Olga's but the couple times we've been to this location service has been awful. Bad enough to not go back even though we really like the food. They were basically empty, we were one of 2 tables the first time, and one of 3 the second time. It took forever to get drinks, forever to get food. And both times we never once got checked back on after food was dropped or refills on drinks at all. Also my mom got a salad and ordered Olga meat on it and when it was brought out it didn't have the meat on it and when she flagged the waitress down and asked about it the waitress didn't seem happy at all to have to fix her mistake. And we had to wait another 15 mins for her salad to come back out. My food was done by then and we were irritated. I hate leaving bad reviews. But I couldn't let this one go. I came here with a local guy while here for work. It was a recommended place by locals at the wash I was doing work at. So we go in. Now I want to be clear... the three stars are based on food quality alone, not the service. So we get in and waited at least 10 minutes to get seated, this place was no where near busy. When we get seated we sat for at least another 10 minutes before a server came. Now this server was not at all friendly, she wasn't rude but she just was not friendly. She was very short with her interaction, never once smiled and wasn't at all helpful in answering questions. It was very disappointing. Anyway when we finally got our food it was solid. I had a Greek salad and a half Olga and curly fries. The salad was good but a bit over dressed, the fries were really good and I think baked which is nice and the pita was pretty good as well. Nothing extra to really say. If this place spends some time finding a couple of quality servers who know how customer service works I would definitely give one more star. I love the fact that they offer online ordering and it usually is ready right when I get there. Some of the employees are well-mannered, but others can be a bit unprofessional. I feel all their offers and deals could be better executed. Many employees seem confused by how to process them. Food is average. Would only buy it if I'm in a hurry. read more

I've only ordered to go food from here but I'm always impressed. The workers and managers are always incredibly friendly and the food is excellent. Sometimes they do run 10-15 minutes behind which can throw off a lunch hour - so hopefully they can fix that part. But now I order far in advance anticipating this. Great people here. read more

The food here is tasty, but a little pricey for what you get. You can get very similar food at a Koney Island for much cheaper. I would recommend it, but if you are thinking this is going to be far more gourmet then you'll probably be disappointed. However, if you really care about restaurant atmosphere, this and all Olga's restaurants are much prettier than places like Kerby's or Leo's. It all depends on what you care about personally. The olgas salad was good and so were the curly fries but the lamb and beef sandwich was nasty. The meat doesn't really look like meat and it's in these extremely thin strips. Not like most Mediterranean food and definitely doesn't taste great. read more

I've been frequenting this Olga's for the last 3 years. I visit at least once or twice per week and have watched the decline in service. No one wants to seat you. You walk in and there are at least 5 or 6 servers who tell you, "Someone will be right with you." When someone finally seats you, it takes 15 minutes for a server to come overland that's only after you've stopped someone to ask where your server is. The managers just stand at the register. I hope they clean up their act soon. Customers are always complaining. read more

I love Olga's and I normally go to the one on Telegraph in Bloomfield Hills but I was on this side of town so decided to do their curbside service. I ordered on the app as I have done previously with no issue and included a tip as usual. 15 minutes later pulled up in the curbside parking spot and sat...and sat...and sat. Finally a half hour after the order was placed my friend went inside to pick it up. She waited for someone to acknowledge her with no luck. She even walked behind the counter and pushed open this kitchen door to get someone's attention and it still took a few minutes. Eventually the server came out and was apologetic, but still not super happy with the situation. The server took my card to "refund my tip" but when I checked my account all she did was charge my card again. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE. I suggest you all do the same read more

Service has declined in recent months, for eat in, or take out. They keep telling you how understaffed they are, over and over. The more they tell me, the longer it takes for my food. I watched and they are very disorganized, running from pillar to post and they need an efficiency expert or new management in there pronto or they will close up shop very soon. I waited 30 minutes for a take out which was just an Original Olga and zuccini fries. I called at 11:00 and I was the only customer there. I checked the restaurant. I saw plenty of workers behind the door, so don't tell me you're under staffed. The pop was warm and flat. When my order finally arrived at the counter it was cold. Really cold. Starting off food was decent. The hostess took us to a dirty table and thought it was clean, she made me wait to clean it since it was a complete mess. Ordered food and drinks at the same time and the drinks came out minutes before the food. Food came and only saw our waitress once after it came out. Asked her for the bill, 20 minutes before I decided to walk to the front and ask to pay my bill. Did not see our waitress once in that 20 minute time, but saw the manager walking around multiple times doing nothing . As we stated we have been waiting for our bills so we could leave , she barks back saying oh the staff is so busy. There were over 10 tables empty. No one waiting. If you guys were so busy the manager needed to be helping out, working as a team and helping out. Very unprofessional and extremely rude to be told that they are super busy, 20 minutes with our credit cards in our hands, no plates , empty drinks at our table, someone, especially the manager walking around should have noticed, and stepped in on helping out.
