I come here with my mom and usually have great service. Everyone is kind but if you are looking for complex/harder designs this isn't the best place. They do have one girl, Tammy, who did the set that has faces (not pictured) and was amazing! However I haven't been able to get her when I come. They did offer to fix these when I came back the next day but I didn't have the hours to spend again the same weekend. I work, so I was unable to call again until the following weekend for a removal, at which point I was informed that I would be charged and that I should have told the tech that I was in a rush if I wanted an appointment shorter than 3 hours. Over an entire year, I gave this place plenty of grace for lengthy appointments and shoddy work solely because they are in my neighborhood. Didn't complain once. Got gel x extensions and fake nails are too narrow don't cover my real nails. Tammy didn't polish all the way so sides are rough and looks like it's already grown out at the cuticles. I just got them done today. Sitting at home so frustrated for spending over $200 on 2 sets of nails today. On top of that service was horrible. MANager/ owner kept yelling at my teen while he was working on another teen. Us customers were glancing at each other like wdf!? No people skills. I got my nails done in about 30 minutes after I got them done last month, they were itching so much and burning, and it hurts so bad and they looked horrible. The service is beyond terrible. I've come a few times only for pedis and the work has been ok at best so I only go in a pinch. I found a person I love and by the time I needed my nails done again I was told she no longer did pedicures (???) today I walk in and I'm standing there looking at a half empty salon as he tells me to wait so he can fit me in. I have been going to Posh Nails for the last 3 years and I have been very happy with the staff and my Gel X manicure and regular pedicure. The staff is always cordial and pretty prompt. Update! Can we rate zero stars? As a verified social media influencer and business owner myself, I understand how to handle customer experience and complaints and I address them immediately. The customer is ALWAYS right. However, Not at this establishment. Mihn the manager of the salon called me directly after posting my initial review asking me to take it down in exchange for a 15 or 30 credit to my account. Seriously? I eventually declined his offer as I didn't enjoy my experience and would just feel scared and stressed going back there again since they proved they don't follow safety protocol. PLEASE READ: I was honestly disgusted that after slicing my fingers TWICE with blood everywhere, she continued to do my nails after putting blood stopping solution by dipping my fingers into their dipping powder. So unless you want my blood on your nails, do not come here. Lastly, there was a whole blowout conversation between him and my partner since he was so upset that I was getting taken advantage of and I could never speak up for myself because Minh doesn't let you get a word out. He talks over you to get his point across and is very money grubby. He said he would refund us a certain amount but I haven't seen any refund on my account. I do not recommend this business to anyone. I'm sure the other nail techs are wonderful and hard working and take safety precautions and care when handling their clients, however my nail tech this day did NOT and in this case they really messed up big time. Incredibly rude owner. I was a repeat client and have been here numerous times. After my last dip, a nail broke while I was working. I came after work to get the dip removed. I said maybe dip let's see how broken my nail is. When I asked to do polish instead of dip the manager said "i won't deal with this back and fourth." First off, changing your mind once is not back and fourth.. Second off the nail broke because the previous dip I got was not done well. The girls are nice but the manager is incredibly bad. I mean excuse me? I asked for polish because my nail is completely broken and I wanted it to heal. I asked to see the state of it after removing the dip to see if it could handle dip or needed to heal. This is not a crazy ask. Once the dip was removed it was clear half of the nail was completely cracked. I will not return because the manager does not care about clients and is incredibly rude. I have worked in customer service and have never treated someone like that... lots of other great salons in Bethesda that want their clients to feel good and happy about how their nails look (especially with the money you put towards maintaining a manicure). read more

Tried chrome nails here for the first time! Came out beautiful! I went during the day on off hours and I called ahead! I was seated very promptly and seen to very quickly. My nails took some time, but they came out lovely! Also got my feet done here the regular pedicure with gel polish! Both look great and I'll return! I really liked the service, the decor, how clean the salon was and the music while getting pampered! Cash only for tip though which was the only inconvenience, but there is an atm in the salon and you get a little discount for paying cash so it ate the atm fee in the end! read more

She rudely said she would fix. I was like no problem left like they were. Didn't wanna be that person. She proceeds to send me to two other people doesn't check if all the nails are the same shape, they are all shaped wrong. One of them was too short so she adds the extension on top of the wrong nail. This is a sanitary concern. I leave and realize they are horrific and call and tell the manager and I said listen I just want my refund or a fix. During my last visit here, I walked in, was not greeted, and the male owner told me to immeadiately come back at 5. Due to the weather, I stayed and waited, then was moved to another pedicure station. I asked for a French pedicure but the male owner did not listen to my requests and forced a gel pedicure. This gel impacted my feet so bad I had to go to the hospital. This is due to the fact that the the male owner did not put any anti fungus treatment on my feet before hand. The male owner also kept saying weird commands during my pedicure like "forward - back". The service here needs to improve. It is improper to pay for rude, customer service. Dear Yelp, Please create a zero-star option just for Katt. Trust me; she deserves it. Unbelievably rude!!! Do yourself a favor and read their one star reviews on Yelp. I wish I had before today. Expect to be disrespected. I am genuinely shocked that they are still in business. Maybe the other technicians are civil, but Katt behaves like she is doing you a favor by allowing you the opportunity to sit at her station. Don't bother asking any questions to Katt . She will act like you are interrupting her phone call. She may even sneer at you . Or, she may ignore you altogether. Regarding service - anyone who does dipping powder knows that they seal the powder with a gel topcoat . When I asked her for a gel topcoat, she replies, "that's not how I do it". Never mind that everyone else in the world does it this way, including her other technicians. Does it matter that the client requested gel? Of course, not. Save you breath ; she will still apply the cheap topcoat that air dries, with a smirky grin on her face. Furthermore , they send out a 5% off coupons that I get every month . I made the mistake of actually presenting the coupon that the store sends out , she will look you up and down as if you are a beggar . Then, she will refuse to honor it. It is comical. Then, why bother to send it out? They have a price list, $52 for colors dipping powder, it clearly states. But she will charge whatever she wants. This visit was $55 even with the cheap top coat. I just paid it; the three dollars is not worth exchanging words with her. By the way, I had a 3:30 appointment and it took her 90 minutes to do a dipping powder session that I guarantee will chip within the week. Towards the end of my visit, I truly thought I was on a hidden camera reality show. I am still in disbelief by how I was treated. But, gauging by the other reviews, others have been treated far, far worse. I will never patronize here again. This nail salon does not deserve to be in our community. I've truly never had a more jarring customer service experience. It started out bad and got worse. I booked a mani/pedi for my 4yr old daughter and I. We were running 5 min late and I let them know as soon as I realized I hadn't accounted for traffic properly. When we arrived my daughter blurted out she didn't want her toes done. The man rolled his eyes at her and loudly said FINE. She's 4 years old so a minute later she decided she did want a pedicure and he loudly told her it was too late. She cried and he reluctantly said fine. I picked my colors and was sat across the room from her while she was sat next to a TV that was showing a show that wasn't appropriate for her to be watching solo while I got my nails done. I absolutely don't expect them to change what they are showing, but I would expect to be able to sit next to my young child so 1) we have the mother daughter time we expected and 2) so I could distract her from a tv show not meant for her. I was told absolutely not and he even said "what is the problem she's not crying anymore". Wow! If your bar is that a child is not crying, that's a pretty low bar for a good customer experience. I asked if I could just get a pedicure (instead of a manicure first) to sit closer to her and he said nope, he would just cancel my entire service instead. That wasn't what I wanted but I didn't feel comfortable leaving her over there with how rude they were being. When I got over to her they hadn't washed her feet (unsanitary) or done any lotion etc. they weren't speaking to her and she was visibly shaken as this is not the experience we have had anywhere else. When I asked about the washing, lotion etc they said it was only a polish change now because I had cancelled my services. None of that makes sense and he canceled my service not me! The woman sitting next to us was disgusted by how terribly we were treated the entire time. I was so upset by the experience, it was so cruel and uncalled for. I love the nails the last few times I've been here. How ever, the appointment system and the front desk is the problem. When you call, they tell you to book it through text. There's no schedule or someone to tell you if they are available or not. So when you text them, you get an automated message confirming the booking. There's a 50/50 chance they will call you hours later saying they may or may not have that slot. This is not suitable for people with a tight schedule. My old salon would always tell me on the spot if there's availability or not. THATS how you run an appointment based business. The service menu is hidden from cute timers for a reason. Absolutely do not go here. They charged me $60 for dip. That is fine but the service was terrible. She scratched up my finger tips removing the polish, tried to chip away at my old dip and told me I had acrylics on when it was my natural nail. She also left all of the residue from my old color on my hands... it was red and I am now scratching off stuck on I don't know what off my fingers. She also cut my nails down significantly shorter than what I asked for. When I told her this was not $60 worth of service she did nothing and said she had to charge me that. Wow first time here today and it definitely won't be the last. I got my nails done today by Katt and she was exceptional! I have never had someone do such a thorough job on my nails before. Other nail places that I have gone in the past are in such a rush to do nails and I feel like some techs try to be impressive by going so fast when doing a manicure. I have very sensitive skin and usually I get cut or pinched by a nail file or cut by a drill bit when I'm getting SNS nails, but not with Katt! She took her time which I really appreciated. When I arrived the receptionist who was doing someone else's nails at the time - so talking on the headset answering calls while treating a client - tells me to wait few minutes. My appointment was for 4:30. I arrived at 4:29. At 4:38 I asked if it was going to be very long because it was obvious all the staff was occupied. She said no she's done - but they weren't done it was another 10 minutes still not done and at 4:50 I said I have to leave because I had dinner plans. The receptionist was rude the whole time. Long story short: Posh kept showing up in my search results, so I gave them a call and they were able to fit me in same day. I arrived and was pleased with the ambiance. And, everyone was so nice. Tammy was terrific. I was in a pretty bleak mood, so I gave no directions or indications of my preferences. Tammy hit the ball out of the park. Everything about my pedi and mani were on point. The polish was neat and beautiful, and I described a color and she came back with exactly the color I was looking for for my mani. I would definitely recommend you give them a try. The best salon I've ever had in my entire life and it was literally close to my place. I love how this nail salon was observing the proper COVID guidelines (check tempt, wear gloves and mask, and even have an acrylic/glass divider in every mani/pedi station) and making everyone feel safe. It was also clean and spacious. I was planning to get a gel manicure but the lady who did my nails (Annie / Mary? I am so sorry, I couldn't really understand what she said with the mask on) educated me well about how SNS dipping powder is much better than just the regular gel one. I was convinced, obviously. She did very well, very detailed, and it turned out really clean and pretty. She also did my pedicure which turned out the same -- pretty and neat. I love it so much. Came in for the first time on Tuesday, May 11th for a gel mani and regular pedi. Vivi (I may be remembering her name wrong) attended me and did a phenomenal job. She filed my nails to a beautiful shape and really took her time applying the polishes, there's no rough edging at all (I've experienced this at other salons in the area). This was my first time getting a pedi after a knee surgery and Vivi was very gentle around my scar area, which I appreciated. Overall--exceptional service, clean salon, perfectionist techs! My review is for the two times I've gone (yes, it's been two times!!!)My sister and I both got pedicures and SNS manicures. First, let me tell you how beautiful the decor is in this salon. When you walk in right away you see the wall of nail colors to pick from!! I do SNS for my nails and often salons don't have many colors to choose from. This salon however has every color under the sun!! It was so nice to know I have many color options. The pedicure stations are very clean, and my pedicure felt amazing. I really appreciated the time they spent massaging my feet. I've been to a salon before that literally had TIMERS. This salon however really took their time to do your pedicure, I honestly felt like I got my money's worth. I should also add that it's been over a month since my pedicure and they look freshly done!!! My manicure was perfect! I asked for designs both times and they really delivered. Posh Nails has been consistently great throughout this year. They still continue to take their Covid-19 precautions seriously, while still being so friendly & accommodating to their customers. Price is also very reasonable too! I was able to book a last minute gel mani yesterday, because I severely neglected my nails for the past month and it was obvious. However, my nails went from drab to fab in a matter of one session. My tech took his time, and let me tell you, my manicure looks AMAZING.
