This is one of my favorite spots to go to whenever I visit the Montclair mall. I always get the taco sampler and my son always gets the cheese burrito and my niece come with me, they get the fries and we're always very very happy with our food. The only reason why I'm giving it a four star instead of a five though is because sometimes The people at the register are not so kind or friendly. With that being said though, we have yet to be disappointed with the food there. Yesterday we were at the mall cause we went to the movies and after we went to go get tacos and we noticed that Oli's tacos was no longer in the food court. All I ordered was a Bean rice and cheese burrito with sour cream. Very simple. 4 bites in, and check the photo. It was 98% rice, bland rice with a tiny peek of beans and sour cream. No cheese whatsoever. The Agua Fresca was pretty good so I was going to give them 2 stars. I wrapped the barely eaten burrito up and took it home, I cut it open. To reveal an 80% rice burrito. I mean there was more sour cream than beans, which ok, because they charged me $2 for it. I microwaved half of it and ate it, the rice was still so bland and the beans were bland too!! Poor ridiculous service. The guy named "Even" stated he couldn't help us because she was on his break. Eating a burrito at the front counter. He said I would have to wait 5 mins so he could take my order. I asked if anyone else was available to take my order and he replied. "They all speak Spanish, I am the only one that speaks English." The quesadilla was filling. This place also charges each customer on a "service charge" fee. I have no clue what this is for. The only service we received was the cashier putting in our order and an employee giving us sauces...I guess this is their version of an automatic tip? This taco place is incredible, and I honestly didn't expect this high of a quality from a mall location. The carne asada was tender, the beans and rice were well seasoned, and the limes were JUICY. JUICY LIMES. Anyone who goes to taco places regularly knows that you have to request an entire lime tree in order to adequately squeeze enough to cover your whole order. The service was relatively quick as well and the staff was friendly. I was surprised there wasn't really a line for this location, so act now before it stops being such a hidden gem. This place is located in the food court in the West Covina mall. I couldn't decide what I wanted so I ordered the sampler tacos, which includes an Oli's taco, dirty queso taco, and a queso Birria taco with your choice of meat. I got carne asada for all of mine. Every time I'm in the area I always get their breakfast burrito. It's my favorite breakfast burrito in town. Although it's missing potatoes or hash brown in it, it still slaps!!! At first I was reluctant to try this place because I saw that they listed a tofu taco which is definitely not traditional. However, I decided to order the tofu taco listed on the menu along with a shrimp quesadilla. My order came out to less than 8 dollars with tax and I must say it was definitely money well spent here's why: Food Small portions, but packed with flavor and deliciousness. The tofu was seasoned so perfectly I forgot I wasn't eating a taco with meat. Best tasting tofu taco I have ever had and I am not a fan of tofu. The shrimp quesadilla was also amazing, it was seasoned well and the shrimp tasted fresh (no fishy taste or order). The cheese was of good quality and was not overly greasy. Located in the newly renovated food court, this is a great option if you're in the mood for something different. Their crispy taco was delicious. Both the cheese and meat versions I have plenty of cheese and were very full of flavor and satisfying. Unfortunately, they were also very small just about two bites each at three dollars each. I didn't get to sample any of the other food this time around, but it was made quickly and the service is very friendly and there are many other items on the menu that sound interesting to try next time.
