The service was good. Sat immediately, server came up for our drinks and then our order. Received our drinks and chips and salad immediately after. The salsa was nothing extreme. It was watery and not enough veggies. The food was mediocre. We had both Enchiladas mexicanas (chicken and steak). Didn't come with rice and beans had to order a side of them. The steak was not to my liking. It was just seasoned with pepper and salt. The chicken was a lot more taste. Too bad it was only a leg. The enchiladas are made with cabbage and filled with queso rayado which is the Michoacán style. Not to my liking. The rice and beans were good. We ended it with a flan...not that was really good. We had Tepeques come cater our work event. The tacos,quesadillas and mulitas were really good. The meats were all very well seasoned and just full of flavor. The agua frescas were just right not to sweet and really refreshing. They were very professional and had gloves on while service the tacos. They had choices when it came to salsas. Ventured out and found a nice bright place with friendly staff. We ordered a few items to go. I got a couple chicken soft tacos and albondigas soup. Both were good. The salsa was flaming hot though. I could feel the heat seething out from my ears after a couple bites. I normally like spicy food, but this was way hot for me! I could have put too much, but my son's shrimp burrito confirmed it was just a bit over the top hot! We also got an order of rolled tacos and plain nachos. Nothing fancy, but good 'ol snack food. This amazing soup brought back childhood memories of happiness and melancholic longing to be back in my Tia's house in Mexico. Don't add anything to this magical concoction. Put down the oregano, the limes and the onions! Ok, maybe a little cabbage, but don't overdo it. Just enjoy what is placed in front of you... liquid joy. And it comes with pork and hominy, YAY! They never open at the right time always have to wait this is the 3rd time i come and they diring opening and they always open 1 hour to 1 hour and a half after the posted time...so do not plan on coming during opening hour came at least 2 hours after just to be sure...and you call and they never answer even them seeing you waiting outside still wont answer the phone or come to the door and let you know what time they will be opening. read more
