On 7/15/26 I ordered out. Place order at 6:10pm was told order be ready at 6:55. Went to pick up and worker said order will be out in 5mins waiting on calamari. 7:15 goes back in and worker says calamari is frozen. Totally Unexceptable. Got home my tour of Italy was Totally Dry. We weren't in the mood for BBQ on for the 4th of July so while visiting friends in the area we decided to stop by 'OG' a place neither of us have visited in a long time. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated (after asking for a booth bs table). We were promptly greeted by our server, Miss Shelly with a menu & drink recommends after asking for her opinion. We ordered our meals at the same time of ordering drinks. The food was soo good! Eggplant Parmigiana & The Tour of Italy. We were quickly stuffed with soup, bread and salad and couldn't finish our dinner. We were so appreciative of Shelly's amazing service, suggestions for upgrades & dessert. Because we were dining on Father's Day, I assume the crowd was larger than usual. Despite the number of people waiting, our party of four was seated relatively quickly, which was a nice surprise. Our waiter was not the best, but not the worst either. It seemed he was either new and still learning, shy, or perhaps just not confident in his role. Maybe it was all of the above. Regardless, he clearly needed more training or experience. I made a conscious effort to be patient and friendly in hopes of making him feel more at ease. Still, he often had to refer to the menu while taking our order and seemed unsure about the drinks. For example, when bringing our beverages, he had to hold them up to the light to distinguish between the Peach Bellini tea and the regular tea. The food took a while to arrive, which we understood given the holiday crowd. I ordered the sirloin with fettuccine Alfredo, my daughter had spaghetti with meatballs, and my husband and son both chose seafood Alfredo. Overall, the food tasted good, though I noticed my portion was noticeably smaller than the others'. Not a major issue, just something I observed. However, there were two incidents that totally turned me off: 1. Our waiter brought drink refills for my husband, son, and another customer at a nearby table. Again, he had difficulty identifying which drink was which. Evidently, the guest at the other table mentioned her tea didn't taste right. The waiter then turned to me and said I was drinking the wrong tea. Now I had been drinking the same glass of tea since before that customer even arrived! It felt unprofessional for him to accuse me of drinking another customer's tea--especially when he was the one who had mixed them up. 2. The ladies' restroom was filthy. I've always heard that if a restaurant's restrooms are dirty, it's a direct correlation to the state of the kitchen. I sincerely hope that wasn't the case, as we had just finished our meal before discovering the condition of the bathroom. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but there's definitely room for improvement, particularly in staff training and cleanliness. Since Olive Garden is one of my daughter's favorite restaurants, I'm sure we'll be back--hopefully next time with a more polished experience. read more

This is a new establishment in this area. Please be patient with the team as they navigate the crowds & create a working environment that will provide the best customer service for everyone. Please be patient as the wait times are somewhat longer than usual. WE all know this area has nothing good to look forward to! At the same time we are hopeful they don't decline as time goes on. Please show them some grace. Now if they mess up, that's a different story! Food was good & fresh-one of my meals was cold...... The service is 10/10-who gets the tip we had so many great servers assisting! It was cold as the Antarctica but I survived. I love it when they dim the lights. I enjoyed my visit It was packed! I wanted to get out of the house since it's been awhile, and have a glass of wine. I chose Olive garden because there have been a viral video on Tik Tok about the .25 wine tasting. Of course I had to see if it was true lol. From what was shown on Tik Tok, they made it seem like you can get unlimited tastings, but I knew that was too good to be true. The maximum number of tastings are only 3. I will say, the pours are only 1ounce, but gives you enough to get a few sips lol. I still enjoyed my time there and being out. I also ordered another drink. It was really good. The bartender was cool. He was busy, but made sure I was taken care of as well. This was my first time visiting this location, and love the ambiance and lighting. Will be back soon. read more

I came here on their grand opening day and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with this location and the level of service provided. We were in and out with appetizers, drinks and main courses in 1.5 hours with no wait. All of the food was fresh, reasonable priced and portion sizes were great. The server was incredibly attentive, especially for our party of three. Two of us opted for the unlimited soup and salad meal, and he was always prompt in asking if we wanted more. He had our favorite Zuppa soup ready just in time for us. I truly appreciate his cordiality and punctuality. However, I had an issue with the silverware. The silverware we received was greasy, with Fred up food particles, and it just appeared unwashed every single time I asked for a new set! Apparently it was a bad batch due to someone not being on their job or a dishwasher malfunction because I had to ask him about five times to get a new set, and after the fifth time, he volunteered to get the silverware and wrap it himself. When he brought it, it was non-greasy and appeared clean. I don't know what was going on in the wash area of the kitchen but that's just disgusting. It's dark in there so just inspect your silverware thoroughly before indulging. read more

Hate to give a 1 star.... but this location is AWEFUL. Not only is the service bad, but the management is worse. A little background: We had 5 people at our table 11/23/25 @ around 5:30 - 6:30 in the evening. Jay (Jalilah)was our server. Ashley was the manager we later talked on the phone immediately after our visit. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. To start out 3 of the 5 meals ordered were incorrect or messed up. My daughter ordered eggplant Parmigiana and received Chicken Parmigiana and was questioned about it like she didn't know what she had ordered.( she is vegan) Another ordered chicken scampi and was brought Shrimp Scampi. Also questioned her the same way. She graciously took the Shrimp Scampi assuming she could have been mistaken (She always orders Chicken Scampi when at Olive Garden) * she was told by Jay that she would bring her the chicken separately and not be charged for it! and my wife's meal was absent altogether. My meal was correct although not good. Tour of Italy and the Chicken Parmigiana was very dry. I didn't get to eat much else because of the proceeding incident about to be explained. A manager came to the table and said the cook had chopped the asparagus up for my wife's meal and was that ok? We had no problem with that and stated so. Still it took another 10 - 12 minutes before her meal actually arrived at the table. This is after everyone else had their meals. During this 10 - 12 minute time the table next to us left and a bus boy came to clean that table. He ended up spraying cleaning chemicals in a spray bottle sending these chemicals into the air in the direction of my wife who happens to be an asthmatic... sending her into an asthma attack. She tried moving to the other side of our table to get away from the airborne chemicals but continued to be in distress. Her food arrived during this time with a dried out piece of Salmon without any seasoning sauce on it, but in a plastic cup next to it. By then, she could not even attempt to eat so we asked for to go containers. My wife was accompanied by my daughter to our car to administer a breathing treatment. We proceeded to get the on table kiosk to pay the bill and after doing so, another bill pops up for the added chicken. Embarrassed to leave without this being resolved and a red flashing light on the kiosk showing an unpaid bill. No server returned within 5 minutes so it was paid begrudgingly separate. We just left. On the way home we called the restaurant and asked for a manager. Ashley was the one we ended up talking with about our miserable experience. She apologized for them spraying airborne chemicals at my wife and stated they were not supposed to be spraying in the dining room at all. She then said unsolicited that she would take care of our ticket and reverse the second charge as well. CRICKETS..... Nothing happened. We proceeded to email the corporate office a few days later, explaining our experience. Katie guest relations responded and she said she would follow up and talk to the restaurant management and get back with us. She later said the local manager would call us and take care of the matter. CRICKETS AGAIN. We have yet to hear back from this place!!!!!! Exterior Lots of parking - but they're surrounded by lots of other businesses. Longhorn is the closest to them, but there's a Floor & Decor, Hobby Lobby, Food Depot, etc - all in that same parking lot. Just be on the lookout for other motorists making some questionable driving choices as they navigate the parking lot. Interior Clean. Looks like all the other Olive Gardens I've been to. Lol. Food I hate to say it, but most of my friends and family members trash-talk my love for Olive Garden, so it's rare for me to be able to get someone willing to accompany me. They have fallen into the herd mentality where its cool to hate on Olive Garden, claiming its all frozen, bland, etc. As much as people love to hate on Olive Garden, I love their Zuppa Tuscana soup and hope they never change the recipe. Over the years, I've had a few entrees, here and there, but I honestly just love the Zuppa Tuscana soup so much that even though I always peruse the menu, I pretty much just stick with the soup. Customer Service Here's why they get 1 star. I knew they were gonna be busy. I've seen people posting on social media, complaining about the wait. I'd attempted 2 visits prior around lunch time and the wait time was insane, so I left without getting my soup fix. On this visit, I arrived at opening time. Literally, three minutes after they opened. There were already folks standing outside at the door when I arrived, but nothing crazy. Maybe 5 or 6 people. Once they were let inside, I trailed in. We were all seated fairly quickly. I looked over my menu. After about 15 minutes, I couldn't help but notice that the restaurant was filling up fairly quickly and people who had come in after me, had been seated and already received beverages - while my server had yet to make an appearance. There seemed to be two different ladies working my section, and I could never get them to make eye contact (it was almost laughable how much effort they were putting into NOT acknowledging me), that at the 25 minute mark, I finally went to the hostess stand and explained the issue. At the 35 minute mark, after having seen both these servers walk by me again AND seeing two of the patrons I came in with get their appetizers and soups, I got up and went to the takeout area. I placed an order for a 1/2 gallon of soup. The young lady who took my order wasn't rude - but she wasn't friendly. When I explained that I'd been seated for 35 minutes with no contact from a server, she didn't offer an apology. Nor did she offer to get a manager. I was paying with a OG gift card and my debit card. She couldn't get the card to work. She kept swiping - and frowning at her POS, sort of talking to herself. Finally, she walks off and heads back to the kitchen. Appears a few minutes later and starts talking to her coworkers. Goes back in the kitchen after chatting with them for about 5 minutes. At this point, the section is filling up with people (delivery drivers), customers who are waiting to be seated, customers waiting for takeout orders. So here's what's strange. During this time, I noticed that several employees (wearing their OG uniforms) are SITTING in the areas designated for customers. So you've got about 12 people standing outside - even elderly people - but the OG employees are sitting on the only bench. And inside - the seats & benches that are there for waiting guests are occupied by OG employees. I don't even understand how these folks would be on break (or off work) so soon after opening. It was bizarre. I look at my phone & see that I've now been here for a whopping 52 minutes. I ask another employee if she knows whats going on with my order. She says she thinks the young lady went to get a manager. Finally the young lady who ran off with my gift card comes back. I ask her what's going on. She says she can't get my gift card to work so she went to get a manager. Manager appears about 3 minutes later. He looked me dead in the face - no greeting / nothing. EE swipes the card, mgr does something, it worked. Then mgr just walked away - no apology for the delay - no acknowledgement at all - he just strolled over to the hostess stand and started laughing and joking with 2 young women working the hostess stand. (I didn't get his name but he was a tall AA man with a tight, white chef's smock.) The employee told me the balance due after the gift card. I handed her my debit card. My half gallon came out about 11 minutes later. No ladle. No candies. No napkins, utensils. Price / Value The entrees are priced affordably - especially the unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks (and yes - I know this is every servers nightmare). I usually eat 1 bowl of salad, 2 soups, no breadsticks and tip $5. Nothing too crazy. Lol. Overall Every restaurant has growing pains - even chains and franchises. But 35 minutes and no server interaction - devolving into over an hour for takeaway 1/2 gallon of soup. Yikes. Unfriendly, unwelcoming staff. Double yikes. read more

I haven't eaten at Olive Garden. The food and the atmosphere was mediocre and not worth the effort. A new Olive Garden recently opened in Austell, not far from my house, so we decided to give the free delivery option a try. First I must commend Uber Eats. We received our order before the expected time. The food was hot and the order was completed without errors. There were even enough utensils and napkins. As I opened the bag of food I was skeptical, but as soon as we began eating I was pleasantly surprised. My husband had the Eggplant Parm. I Had the Pasta Calabrese with steak and shrimp. We shared Calamari, soup and salad. I would definitely order this again and maybe even make a trip to the restaurant sit down. This by far is the best Olive Garden I've ever encountered. To go service has to be the worst I've seen in a long time. There are 4 of us sitting in the parking lot for almost 30 mins and no one got their food. I go in and it's been sitting on the counter getting cold. Why offer service brought to your car if you are not going to honor it. I understand being behind in the kitchen but letting food sit there to get cold because no one wants to walk it out? This isn't the first time either. I think I'll go back to driving to douglasville if I want Olive Garden as this Austell location is the worst. read more

We were waiting since ground-breaking for this restaurant to open, and we were not disappointed on their opening day. The restaurant is well-staffed with people who know the food selections. The food and ambiance are pretty standard. However, the service needs major improvement. We were seated as usual, given there weren't many customers. Still, after being situated, the service was extremely slow. The waitress seemed withdrawn, checking on us once and only speaking to us when asking for our order and serving our food. I asked for Spaghetti and Meatballs, which is written in the menu to be served with meat sauce but came with marinara. On top of that, my meatballs were cold. Someone else at my table asked for shrimp with their order, but when we received it, there was no shrimp in it. We told the waitress of this and she said she'll look for it in the kitchen, yet she only came back asking if everything was okay near the end of our meal (seeming to have forgotten about the issue). Later, when asking for a To-Go order, we asked for Seafood Alfredo, but it came out as Chicken Alfredo. Each time she came to our table, she quickly gave our orders and would leave immediately.
