Olive garden is a known commodity. It really depends on the service and execution. I will start off by mentioning this is a small format store. They should have put in a larger format restraunt as they get overwhelmed with customers resulting in long wait times in spite of joining the wait list online. It took over 1 1/2 hours past the time the seating was permitted. When we were seated, the service was not up to the standard expected. Servers disappeared and new ones appeared. Half of our party's food arrived and was finished before the others were served. I understand this is a new location but given it had been opened for over a month, the service and execution was awful. I will be looking to other locations or establishments for my Italian fix. read more

I had a terrible experience at this Olive Garden. The bartender didn't know how to open a wine bottle and had a customer do it for her. Server didn't know the name of the plates. Our appetizer had hair in it and the Manager didn't apologize or try and mend the situation. Our meat sauce pasta smelt like mildew tasted like cleaning supplies and had to be sent back. Our Alfredo shrimp was not cleaned out properly and had feces left in it. To top it all off I tried to talk to the Manager about this whole experience and how to resolve it for all parties and she tried to argue with me and defend everything that took place tonight instead of working with me and my family. Absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional from everyone in that building. I will never be returning to this location. read more

Food was so good and so was the service. Jeovanni was our server and he did an amazing job! You have to ask for him when you stop by!

Ordered online. PAID online for 2 soups and some breadsticks. I don't tip when I order online and have to go pick it up. My wife went to get the food and was presented with a receipt for TIP and signature. Why? It was paid for online and as far as the tip, For what exactly? Bringing a bag from the kitchen to the front of the store? My wife did not sit down or get served by wait staff, so why was she questioned about a tip? Bad business practice. Cooks are probably taking the soup from a bag or a can and heat it up and then put it into to go containers. Cooks probably get $15.00 or more per hour, so who am I supposed to be tipping? Some businesses should just eliminate tipped workers and pay them a straight wage. This tipping entitlement is getting ridiculous. read more

The new Olive Garden in Cibolo opened June 1. By June 6 I had been there twice. Both times the food was excellent. I had my favorite of shrimp scampi on the evening of the fourth and as a lunch offering June 6. Ambience was great both times and we are blessed to have an Olive Garden so close. Service the first night was outstanding but left a bit to be desired at noon on the sixth. I'm hoping it was due to the newness of this server to not only that Restaurant, but to the profession at all. All in all, I look forward to my third and future trips to this location. read more

TRASH horrible service, everyone was confused and we witnessed Sheena(our server) ask a customer to open a wine bottle, which he then did. My husbands food tasted like cleaning supplies and mildew. (Rigatoni w meat sauce) My food tasted fine but the shrimp still had some poop on it( shrimp Alfredo) One of our apps had a full on hair on it (stuffed fritta) and when we complained to the manager Barbara, she not only dismissed it and didn't apologize for the incident but tried to silence my brother in law who complained. Before we left, my brother in law went to inform Barbara of our full horrible experience and she argued with him, tried to silence him, and escalated things to something it was not and did not need to be. At the end of the day she gave us 25% off our meal which is honestly insane. DO NOT COME HERE unless you'd like to experience a horrible and unprofessional dinner. read more

Went to this location on 8/27 4PM to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were a party of nine. I had called the day before to check for seating availability. Our dining experience was great. From the moment we walked in the hostesses at the front were welcoming and friendly, all smiles. That was the start of our pleasurable experience. The restaurant was clean and immaculate. The manager was present and attentive with her staff. We were seated promptly and a young man came and introduced himself as Justin and that he would in charge of our table. There were also several staff that approached our table to make sure we weren't lacking anything. The wine and beverages were served promptly. After we placed our order, the soups and salads were served and the offers for refills never stopped and never had to be requested. The food was exceptional like it always is. Justin went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. This young man possesses excellent communication and people skills. I couldn't help but speak to the manager about our pleasurable dining experience and gave her Kudos for the outstanding team she is building at this location. I advised her that we would definitely be returning to this new location. Love this location and even more it's staff. Thank You for a memorable dining experience. read more

We went for dinner their 1st day open in Cibolo (which is usually a mistake) and were amazed at how great everything was! Every detail from customer service to speed & quality of the food was fantastic. We could tell a lot of preparation and training went into their staff. The company policies they have instilled in the staff should go a long way towards creating a great location for the long term. Barb was diligent and prepared to address my food allergies proactively and very personable and professional at the same time. Our waitress never left us wondering where she was and made sure timing of everything was perfect. If she hadn't, the other staff were attentive and would have helped with anything we wanted. Normally I am a HUGE fan of olive garden & decided to try out the new location, but that was my mistake & now i know not to return. It wasn't a terrible experience but compared to other locations I've been this is by far the worst when it comes down to soup portions & the taste of it (one of the main reasons i go) it wasn't awful but im a sucker for soup & it didn't have a lot of flavor unless i added it myself (salt, pepper, crushed pepper) & there was little to no kale and nothing but mashed potatoes in it, barely any meat & seems they give you the SMALLEST scoop & wont let you take one to go without paying extra for it, that's never happened to me at any location, i absolutely come for the soup mainly but will order an entree as well & at any location i always will order one to go (which it comes with my entree) & they were trying to charge me extra , i've never had been told that before so i was obviously a little taken aback, - also there drinks were absolutely awful, i always order myself a cocktail & this time i did it was nothing but simple syrup, every drink i took was a whole sip of sugar you couldn't taste anything else besides that. We recently visited the new Olive Garden in Cibilo for the second time, and unfortunately, our experiences were equally disappointing. Although we gave them the benefit of the doubt during our initial visit, assuming they were still working out operational kinks, our second visit was marred by multiple issues. Notably, our appetizer contained hair, my Zuppa Toscana was prepared without potatoes, and my husband's salad was made with onions despite his request to exclude them. Furthermore, I received shrimp scampi instead of the chicken scampi I ordered, and the waitress disputed my claim insisting i did. It was explained i would not as I'm allergic. That error necessitated a wait for my correct meal. As a result, my husband's food was cold by the time we began eating together. We are perplexed by the extent of the mistakes, given that the restaurant was not excessively busy. Overall, our experience was subpar, and we will not return to this location. The only redeeming aspect was the cleanliness of the establishment. read more

The overall experience was average. While the food was acceptable, there were several concerns regarding both the service and food quality. The staff appeared to have limited communication and lacked some basic service etiquette. On multiple occasions, employees reached across the table or squeezed between guests and the waiting staff without excusing themselves while delivering items such as breadsticks, which felt unprofessional and disruptive to the dining experience. As for the food, the broccoli was noticeably undercooked and still quite hard, making it seem as though it had been rushed out of the kitchen. Additionally, the plate was significantly hotter than the food itself. My wife also received a piece of chicken that was almost entirely fat, which was disappointing and should have been caught before being served. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I would rather make the longer drive to the New Braunfels location, where we have consistently had a better experience. This location seems to still be working through some operational and service-related issues. I hope these concerns can be addressed, as there is definitely room for improvement in both customer service and food quality. read more
